News Flash!

Update: We got home safely that night. Storm Glenda's gone. I think she's now in China. But another storm is coming in soon. His name is Henry.

I am currently with Mom right now in the province of Pampanga, my Grammy's birthplace. We went here for Mom's work. We drove for an hour and a half from Manila yesterday. Well, typhoon Glenda hit Manila, Pampanga and some other nearby provinces yesterday afternoon. Today, everywhere looks chaotic. Storm signal number 3 (winds of up to 185 kph) was up since last night. Not sure if we can go home later this afternoon.

Mom took this photo in total darkness. Electricity was out since 2 in the morning. I was hiding in there because the thunderstorms are really scary.

Fly High, Grammy...

This is a very late post, sorry, we are all still grieving.

Not sure if everyone knows, but my beloved Grammy is now in Heaven with Grampa. She passed away last February 2, 9:35 pm.

Sorry if I was only able to post now. Everyone is busy. Everyone is sad... Including me.

At Grammy's

Mom and I spent Christmas and New Year's Eve at Grammy's together with Grammy's twin sisfur. The humans had lotsa noms. I had my favorite Feast.

I love to watch Grammy do her walking exercises on this green square thing that has little bumps sticking out. Mom said it helps blood circulation when stepped on. The bumps target pressure points on each foot.

Then I'd lay down beside Grammy while she plays Candy Crush.

I had fun.  It was a good 2013. Here's hoping that 2014 will be a lot better.  =)

Thank you for all the purrs and advices. I truly appreciate them all. It worked magic!

Sushi's doing a lot better today. She started eating and drinking again. I think she's adjusted already, but we're going back home. I hope this will not cause another problem. Sushi has been running around the house like crazy again which is very much like her old self.

Let me share with you something cute she did. Early this morning I asked my Mom's helper to massage my achy back. Sushi was just looking at us, curious about what's going on. Sushi stepped on my back and started stomping. Maybe that's her own version of MASSAGE.

Anyway, when Sushi's up and about, she will be very happy to be back blogging. Who knows, that could be LATER.

Purrs Needed

I'm beginning to get worried about Sushi because since we got here at my Mom's place, she hasn't been eating the way she used to and she hasn't been drinking much. I have only scooped 3 small and hard pieces of poop since Wednesday from her litter box.  I tried feeding her Fancy Feast which she would normally gorged on. I also tried giving her pieces of Greenies treats and her usual dry cat food. It seems like she lost interest on them all together. I even tried to feed her human food, anything to get her to eat. She would try to play her favorite paper ball, whap it a few times then will walk slowly away from it. She would rather sleep all day.

Will bring her to the vet on Sunday, but in the mean time, what else can I do to help her?

I'm at Grammy's right now.  Mom and I are here for a stay-cation this long holiday weekend. We got here yesterday. I didn't eat the whole day, didn't drink either. Mom got worried, but figured that maybe I was just adjusting to my new environment. She was right. I started eating again today little by little although my appetite hasn't fully returned yet.

Mom is raving over this new photo which was taken yesterday on our way here. She said she likes it very much. I think I do too.

Off to Grammy

We're going to Grammy's today.  Momma packed our stuff last night.  Ate Emy is going home to her family this holiday.  We'll all be back home on Saturday.

Meow! I got so scared because I thought Momma's gonna give me away.  I went to my litter box and it was gone.  My bed was gone.  My foodies were gone.  Then Momma put this ridiculous outfit on me.

When we got to Grammy's, I tried to get comfy. I had a difficult time doing that.

Momma prepared me a good chow again for lunch.  Meow!!!  Hmph! Well, I deserve it! I was the one who got so stressed with all this moving!

Thank goodness she removed that awful dress off of me as soon as we got to Grammy's.  I thought I was gonna have a heat stroke.

To the Vet I Go Again...

Here we go again.  Another trip to the vet.

Momma wanted to make sure that my ear infection is already gone.

Yipee!  No more ear infection.  No more drops. I hate it when Momma and Ate Emy fiddle with my ear.

When my vet said I'm okay, Momma brought me to the grooming section again for another bath.

Meow!!!  Not again!!!!!!!

After drying me up, they put this 2 yellow thingy at the back of my ears.  I thought I looked ridiculous, but everybody thought I was soooo cute.

Then they had me lay down on that steel table again.  Uh-oh... I think I know what they're gonna do.

Meow!!!

That hurt!!!

I wonder when they will stop doing this to me???

I didn't feel too weak like the first time. Just a little bit woozy.

Momma put me inside this bag on our way to Grammy. I saw her house for the first time.  I heard she didn't like pets at all, but when Grammy saw me, she said I was cute.  Ha!  I won her heart!

Lemme tell you, I hate this bag! But Momma wanted to carry me in this when we go out. Meow!!!
