Two albums finished!

This is the acrylic recipe album. Bought it as a kit.

And this is an album made with my Sure cuts a lot software and my Cricut. It took me a while to download all the images and to get the files right, but I love the result!

Paper bag album

Made a paper bag album and absolutely loved doing that. That is where my heart is, I think, making mini albums with all kinds of techniques. Love it! For me the thrill is to see where you start off with... plane paper bag for example, and then the end result. So different...

But where do you leave all of them, that's the problem. So I will keep making layouts too of course. ;o)

Did make something else too, but can't show that yet....

challenge creabest en sneakpeak

Sneak peak for my new acrylic album. Finally almost finished. Just have to bind it and put in pictures and recepies.

Challenge was to only use black, white and silver. At the close-up picture the light turns the black into another color. In the big picture you can see it is all b&w&s....

Moved!

Patrick really wanted a bit of space to hang a dart board, so we have rearranged our whole top floor. Which meant: moving my scrapbookstuff too. But now in the end i think I like it even better and I have more space, so that's a good thing! So now we have an even more multi-functional bedroom/attic, hahaha.

In the mess I did manage to whip out some new things:

Altered a very old pencil-box I found and used it for all kinds of small embellishments.

I tried scrapping on an old t-shirt. Don't know if I will ever wear it, but it was fun to do.

And made a second layout to match the one I made for the Design team challenge. I took the idea of this one off the SEI website and made some changes to it to make it my own. The copper embellishment left of the photo is a tag with journaling.

DT call Dolls and Decorations

My friend who owns the web shop Dolls and Decorations mentioned I should try out for the Design Team challenge. They need 1 or 2 new people for the Design Team and I would love to be able to do that! Exciting!!

You had to make a layout, a card and alter something to enter. So I altered a tea box (just a regular cardboard teabox from the store where teabags come in, not a wooden one) and made a card holder of it to hold the card I made. As you might know... I don't make cards. Seems so much work and trouble and so little people appreciate that and just throw it out.

Last week I bought the most beautiful paper. The SEI Moravia line. So did all 3 projects with the same paper. Also bought glimmermist. What great stuff that is!!! WoW! Love it! So used that too.

The photo's don't really do justice on the paper. It's very glittery copper, but that doesn't show that well. Had some copper tape lying around which I never used. The embellishments are also from SEI. Made the little owl from the paper and some beads. And the little window of the card was apiece of an overlay.

Finished my AZ clearalbum!!!

It had been lying around waaaaay too long, but my newyears resolution: First finish up all of your old projects before starting new ones. So here was my first 'old' project.

It turned out beautiful, but hey... it's midnight so everything looks beautiful when your eyes aren't fully opened.
