Tic-Tac-Whale

Hi there! Were just a few days away from Valentine so I thought I would share this CAS card that would be perfect for a guy, for a child or for a non frilly-fussy person :)
It features the adorable whales from Lawn Fawn. Although it looks simple, I must confess that it took me 3 times and a lot longer than I would have liked to get it just right. On the upside, I now have the correct measurements for everything and can replicate it quickly.
I hope your Wednesday is going well. Thanks for stopping by!

Whale You Be...

Happy Sunday! I'm here to share a clean and simple card, yet still very cutesy, featuring the love whales from lawn fawn. This card looks very Valentine but I think it works on all levels, you just have to rearrange the whales or the sentiment.  Speaking of, don't forget to play along with the Quick Creations Monthly Challenge (which is Love). You can enter on the blog or on the Quick Creations Facebook Group (click here). The prize is a $10 certificate which will allow you to buy this stamp set, die set and still have money left over :)  All products used on my card can be found at the Quick Creations Shop

Sweetie Bean

Happy Wednesday! I'm here to share one of my recent Valentine/Friendship creations. I was going for a soft look this time but its a look I'm working on. I originally wanted her to have white/light grey hair but somehow it ended up being a lot darker than what i had hoped. The image I used is Sweetheart Bean, who is super cute for Valentine cards but is also great for other themes as well. She can be found at the Quick Creations Shop along with all the other products I used.

Thanks for stopping by!

Ok, so lets get started. My card features lots of Lawn Fawn goodness. I used the set of cutesy elephants that make a great pair but also will look great on their own. When I saw this mini stamp set it automatically reminded me of my mother, she has always believed in the magic of elephants, so although this card isn't appropriate for mom I will make her a similar one. Plus, a little extra luck this year wont be so bad. C'mon elephants do your job :)
What I did to the card was use the "love" die all over the front panel and then popped it up on top of a sheet of dp. I sprinkled some hearts around the card and split up the sentiment for a maze like effect (which is why the elephants are separated).

Project 1 - Love Card
Stamp Image/Sentiment - Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons
Matching Die - Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons Die
Lawn Fawn: Scripty Love Die
Doodlebug Doilies: Cupcake
Paper - Dear Lizzy: Daydreamer 6x6 pad

For my Scrapbook LO, I used the awesome EP line "Head Over Heels". I'm doing a sort of Project Life album this year (its kind of hard for me to keep up with that system) but it did inspire me to create a Sunday Album. Every Sunday I create a mini 6x6 LO for my Currently cards (which are for us to journal on and write our current likes etc). The cut apart cards are from the same line except that they are on the 12x12 sheet. However, you can find them in mini form on the 6x6 pad.

Project 2 - Scrapbook LO
Paper - EchoPark: Head Over Heels 6x6 pad
Lawn Fawn: Scripty Love Die
Doodlebug Doilies: Cupcake
Lawn Fawn: Large Stitched Rectangle Dies

Smile, its Valentine

Hi there! Today is my day on the Quick Creations Blog with Valentine theme projects.  I decide to go with a shabby chic look for this my valentine, as its not meant to be romantic and more of a friendship card. It features the latest Dollie from The Greeting Farm. She is a super cute Valentine girl with all her hearts but I think she would look great on Hello cards or Birthday cards or anything really. So make sure you add her to your collection and by any chance if you don't have any, gasp! she'd be a great way to start.
My second project is a tag that ill be adding to my gift bag. It features this adorable Kitty from Cottage Cutz. This kitty brings a bee outfit and a flower with him but I thought Id leave him naked and furry just as intended, lol. You can pick this up and all the products used on my projects in the Quick Creations Shop. While there, make sure to take a look around as you'll find lots of great items at amazing prices.
Thanks for stopping by!

Big Bear Hug

Happy Friday! I'm here quickly sharing a CAS Valentine/Thinking of You card. It's funny how one says CAS which normally means a quick card yet the time you take coloring the image is double or triple the amount of time you take to put it together. Hmmmm, may have to reconsider this whole quick and easy thing. Lol.

I hope you have a beautiful Friday. I'm happy over here as the sun finally broke through. We're heading into the late 60s to mid 70's. I'll def take that as we've been stuck in the 50s and Ive been battling a cold. I think it's time to say goodbye to it :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Friendship Bookmark

Hey All. It is almost Friday, Yay!!! We had a bit of rain this morning but now the sun is out and shining and I can get on and pretend to workout out there today. lol. Today I plan to walk to Sprinkles, a delicious bakery that is 3 miles away, which will make me feel better about wolfing down the peanut butter cupcake that I'll be chasing with a starbucks latte. I possibly may follow that with a red velvet cupcake. lol. Now you know why I should walk those 6 miles. Lol!!

I'm here sharing a bookmark I created for The Greeting Farm using all the big Anyas. I'm hoping it finds a place in the CHA booth so we shall see :) The new item on here is Anya Celebrates, I didn't get it until late November (I think) and I barely had a chance to ink her up. They all look great together don't you think? Plus it makes the perfect friendship gift, which is perfect for Valentines day.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Thursday!!

Valentine Theme

Happy Wednesday! For today's post, I have Valentine/Love Inspired Theme projects for you. Usually when Valentine is mentioned or marketed, the first thing that comes to mind is romantic love, spouse, partner, etc and they tend to forget that there are many singles out there. So my projects are in honor of all the singles out there. Hey, they need love too :D

I decided to show two completely different methods you can use for your projects. Of course these projects were inspired by the recipients and they have completely different tastes but I wanted to show you that Valentine inst only about Pink and Red. I did, however, keep a little of me in there and used a touch of Paris. I find the whole theme of Paris to be very romantic and hopeful.

Picture 1: "Friendship Inspired with a touch of Paris"

Picture 2: A2 Size Card
Flirty Anya from the Greeting Farm
Picture 3:  As you can see this card is very Valentine Inspired with the reds and pinks.

I will be playing with:
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Photo Inspiration
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes + Flowers
Simon Says Stamp - Love Is In the Air
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Love Is In the Air
Paper Play Challenges - Stamp It Out

Picture 4: Bookmark Tag
30's Lylah from Tickled Pink Stamps

Picture 5: This tag/bookmark is vintage inspired. I have been playing around with that method because I like the look of it for certain items.
This is also the first time I try making a rosette. They are simple to make but a pain to assemble. Sooo its a toss up.

I will be playing along with:
Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge - Vintage
Jitterbugging Challenge - Non Traditional Valentine

Thanks for stopping by/commenting!!
