Sending Squishy Hugs

Hello All! I'm on the Quick Creations blog today sharing some squishy hugs inspiration featuring a disgruntled cat and her owner who can't let go.  I think we have all been this little girl at one point in our lives because we either want to squeeze our pet, a stuffed animal or baby/toddler to our hearts content (in a good way, of course). I was going for a happy and bright card to put a smile on the recipients face, hence the bright colors.

Now make sure to click on over to the Quick Creations blog for more inspiration and to the Quick Creations shop for your own goodies to play with. Noelle has filled the shop with lots of new goaodies from the greeting farm, krafting kimmie, doodlebug, echo park, my favorite things and many other. Also, there is a monthly challenge happening where you can win a store gift certificate. The theme is stars and stripes, which is quite easy.
Thanks for stopping by!

Water You Up To?

Scroll down for my TGF Previews Day 1 post

Happy Monday!! I'm here to share some fun shaker inspiration featuring "dolly diver" who happens to be swimming around with the fishies when she notices a new friend has attached himself to her. As cute as the squid is, I don't think id be to keen to want to have it hitch a ride on me. All the extras come from a TGF set and was perfect to give the card that underwater effect. I was also going for a happy and bright card to put a smile on the recipients face, hence the pink and yellow sequins.

You're Fintastic

Happy 4th of July!! I'm here to share some quick inspiration featuring this awesome mermaid and her ocean pals. With all kind of mermaid releases popping up and with Finding Dory in the theaters, I was inspired to create an ocean theme bookmark to help me read those TBR books. I thoroughly enjoy reading, the idea of getting lost in another "world" is exciting but lately netflix has been my friend and so I haven't had much time for reading and I'm hoping that this will help change that. :)

Now make sure to click on over to the Quick Creations blog for more inspiration and to the Quick Creations shop for your own goodies to play with. Noelle has filled the shop with lots of new goodies from krafting kimmie, doodlebug, echo park, my favorite things and many other.

Live Out Loud Chick

Happy 'Avengers Age of Ultron release day' Eve!  Wow, that's a mouthful. Lol. I can't wait to see the uber sexy Chris Evans aka Captain America, along with the rest of the avengers, kick some ultron ass. Swoon!

I used the Kraftin Kimmie WW April Sketch and the B/W Challenge

Today is my day over on the Quick Creations Blog. I'm showcasing a Kraftin Kimmie stamp along with some beautiful Bo Bunny paper. I created a mother's day card for my friend that is one of the least conventional mothers I know :). Her favorite band is Metallica, who she has braninwashed to like :) and loves creating and crafting in black and white. So inspired by her, I went for this look. It was the first time creating this look with markers. I'm not great with markers so I hardly use them but I need to practice to not be fear them. lol. All items have links to the Quick Creations Shop. While there, make sure you take a look around as QC is having a sale. You get an extra 20%off on top of her low prices. This is the time to stock up, so go on over and check it out. Thanks for stopping by!

Rock On, Rocker Chick!

Hey there, Happy Friday! I'm here to quickly share a Rocker Chick card. My cover girl is pretty bad ass and her companion is bad ass as well who reminds me of Jem. For those that don't know Jem, shes an 80's cartoon icon that had amazing pink hair and star earrings that transformed her to a mega pop star. I would say that definitely qualifies her as bad ass :) I'm regretting not coloring Rocker Chick's hair purple, turquoise, pink or even rainbow ;) but oh well, I can experiment next time.

I used the Kraftin Kimme April Sketch for my card along with a mix of papers and embellishments.
If you're interested in any of the items I used, most can be found in the Quick Creations shop.

Caution... Anti-Valentine

Happy Friday!! It is going to be gorgeous today, up into the late 70s, a great start to the fun and busy weekend that's going to happen.

Ok so it 's Feb.1st and Valentine is around the corner. Oh not a fan of V-day you say, well neither is my little grumpy ballerina. Lol. These are some fun new anti-valentine sentiments from Graphicat Designs. The sentiment here is Caution, I Dont Do Vday.

My second card is my sample for the current Graphicat sketch (#20). You still have time to play along and if you do, you'll receive the girl digi, Prisoner of Love as a freebie. Cheri is giving it away to all participants. She looks a little pathetic but that's whats so great about her. Lol. The sentiment on this card is Happy Unimaginative Day.

Well that's it for me. Have an amazing Friday. Thanks for stopping by!

Fancy Chocolate Holder

First off... Let me apologize for the quality of the photos.  I was too busy out enjoying our weather, 79 degrees thank you very much lol, that I didn't make it home on time to have nice sun-lit pictures. They'll be replaced tomorrow. EDITED to add newly taken pictures.

(Space for greeting)

(Where chocolate slides out)

So yes, Happy Sunday!!! I'm excited that tomorrow is a holiday as I'm still trying to fight off my cold. I'm hoping that some rest and a good dose of sun from tomorrow will finally be the end of this cold. Fingers crossed.

I have another fancy chocolate holder for you. I made one last year for Halloween and my friend loved it sooo much I thought I would make her another one. Although after seeing how this one turned out I'm debating on wether to keep it or not. You know when you make something that you're really proud off and you want to make it one of your to keep pieces. I don't have many of those, I think I have about 2 that I cant seem to part with so if I do keep this one, well then that make #3. I guess that's not bad considering if we keep everything we make then it'll be never ending. Lol.

Ok so for this one, I changed it up slightly. I changed the layout of my attachment, changed out the chocolate (used a special one I got from San Francisco) added flowers, embellishments and I also added dp to the back. Plus I used some extremely awesome kraft paper that sadly I only have 2 sheets of. It's a no name brand I picked up a while back and I still can't find paper that is equally sturdy and nice looking.

Side Note** If you ever plan on making one of these, make sure you use extremely sturdy card stock and reinforce it from all sides. Oh and you must use great sticky tape, be it red tape or score tape or something equally good.

OK Ladies enjoy the rest of your Sunday. As for me, I'm off to LAX but I'll be back tomorrow with a new Graphicat project and to play blog catch up.

Thanks for stopping by!!

The Greeting Farm is spreading the Love

Happy Friday!! I'm here with a long-ish post :) ...

TGF is spreading the love this Thanksgiving holiday. Jessica and Marie are very thankful and feel blessed for what they have and they wanted to show gratitude with a special Thanksgiving challenge.
The Challenge: Create a card or project with the theme of Thankfulness. You must use a TGF image to play along. Once you enter your card, please send Jessica a private email and nominate a person you might know that is a little down on their luck, struggling financially, etc. Please note that TGF will not share the name of the recipient you nominate - it will be private. Please click here to read the post in full.

My challenge card features Navajo Anya.

Now for our new Farm Fresh Friday challenge of the week..the theme is Twilight/Fairytale. I created a mini box using the new CC Sadie and I colored her up with Bella as a newly hatched vampire in mind (hence the red eyes).
On the inside, I added a Cullen necklace that I bought at Nordstrom along with an ATC featuring Flirty Edward from The Roll Call Kit. I think its a cute little gift for a Twi-Hard don't you think? :)

****

Now for a quickie card. I had this little gal colored up (who originally was slated for Halloween but seeing as that day has come and gone, lol) I decided to use her up for a "spooky birthday" theme card. Lol, I know I'm stretching it on this one but my stash of Kraftin Kimmie Stamps is extremely small and I wanted to play along with their Food/Drink Challenge. All I need to do is type up a Happy Birthday sentiment and I'm done. I'm in need of a good birthday stamp set. Any recommendations?

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you have a great Friday and weekend!

Angry Ballerina

Happy Friday Night! Just quickly sharing a card I created with my Kraftin Kimmie Angry Ballerina. I soooo heart her. She reminds me a lot of my nieces and I mean a lot. I actually call my youngest niece angry ballerina when she's pouting and she'll know what I'm talking about. Some people just can't help being moody. Lol!

However when creating this card, I had my bff in mind. She's a moody adult and we've had our differences but in the end we find a way to make up. This is why I love this sentiment, "Best Friends" from Graphicat Designs, it fits perfectly.

Thanks for stopping by!
