Yellow, Blue and Grey Card

Happy Tuesday! Here's a male birthday card I created using only dp and this color combo. I had never worked with only these colors and I really liked the look of it, so much so that I made a few other things. Ok, this is it for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Baby Fairy Love

Happy Wednesday! We are half way through the week and almost done with the first month of the year. OMG!!! Lol. Today I have a Love theme card featuring one of the adorable baby fairies from Mo Manning. He is uber adorable and makes me want a baby the looks like him. One day, one day :)

I hope that I don't bore you with this paper as I'm using it all up. Lol. I just love the look of it. I love the subtle tones with the mixture of nature and handwriting.

Now for a card without any coloring. I think this is my 2nd one that I've created like this. I must do it more often as the paper that we all love can be powerful on its own. Plus I think this look works especially well for male cards. I used the Art Type Stack from DCWV.

And here's a peek of some birthday cards and Valentine cards that will be popping up in the next few days.

Purple Hair Beans

Hey All. Happy Wednesday!! Today will indeed be happy on my side of the country as we are scheduled for beautiful 70/80 degree weather. It's a shame I cant go frolicking off to the beach though. Oh well :)

So I'm here today with my project for Double Take Tuesday Challenge over at the TGF Blog. This week it is a sketch challenge hosted by Shaela. I created a post-it note holder using the new Twinkle Bean. Her hair was a challenge for me (as I originally began with blonde hair and pink tips but somewhere along the lines I began to add more colors and then I just couldn't give up. Lol. So I ended up with another purple hair bean. But that's ok, she can pull it off, don't ya' think? By the way, I was the Farm Fresh Friday hostess and my theme was Anything But a Card so this notepad is another sample for that challenge.

And here is my first Bean with purple hair. This is Bright Bean and she was used for an older DTT Color challenge card from October. The color scheme was Purple, Green and Black (very Halloweenie) but I wanted something cleaner and versatile.

So there you have it :) A couple of challenges to play along with for the chance to win some Farm goodies.

SOG Gatefold Challenge

Hi there! It was Some Odd Girl FB Fun Day on Saturday and what that means is that they have challenges, major discounts and some fun random crafty chatter. One of the challenges was to create a gatefold card. But I think I goofed and did it wrong. One of the odd girls created a gatefold card with the panels cut in a circle and the image on the inside. As you can see, mine is the regular way. Whoops :)

Hope you had a good weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Is Approaching

Happy Saturday and Happy Fall!! So there is no denying it, summer is over. Boo! So since I never been big on creating Fall like projects, you know the ones with reds, oranges, browns and leaves. It gets me a little sad, lol, so I thought I'd dive right into Halloween.

The first card I created is for the TGF Sketch Challenge that is exclusive to the Splitcoaststampers forum.  We are already on sketch 31 and this week our hostess is Eva. Great sketch right! It gives you lots of opportunity to use up that dp. That is what I did. I was just ripping out pages from my mat stack tothrow it all on there. I began to reorganize my stuff and I was appalled to see how much I've accumulated in the past 2 years. So now I am just ready to use it all.

I used Hallo Pumpkin Ian who is such a cutie! There are 4 other Halloween images that go perfect with him and look great together or alone.

Since I already had my Halloween paper out and this Hallo Bride Creeper already colored up I thought why not make a second card :) I was going for a little spookier look on this one. Although its hard to get spooky with The Greeting Farm, lol, they're too cute!

I used the Anyone for Anya sketch for this card.

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you're enjoying your weekend.

I'm submitting both of these cards to:

A Princess Wall Hanging

Happy Thursday all! Today is my day to Showcase over at The Greeting Farm. I am showcasing a recycled project of mine. Ok so I must confess that originally my Princess Anya no.4 was slated for a card but it quickly developed a mind of its own and decided to be something else. I mean, with all the knick-knacks and bobbles I add how could it not? Hehe. So I decided to run with it and create a wall hanging.

Here are some closeups

On the Wall

You can create your own wall hanging with a recycled chipboard, there's no need to buy wood  if you don't want to. For my base, I used the back of a Bristol pad. I always keep those to re-purpose because it is an extremely thick piece of chipboard. I took extra care in covering the complete board, making sure the corners didn't bulk up.  I used one of my favorite stacks, The Preppy Princess stack from DCWV. I just love the shabby chic feel to it. The colors are soft and it works perfect for little girls projects as well mature women. I also left some space towards the bottom so I can personalize if I need to at a later time.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring Stamptacular Sunday

Happy Sunday!! This week Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. The challenge is to create a project inspired by the eerily fabulous image below. Doesn't it just scream the "Headless Horseman". Oooooh spooky, Lol. So as you can see, time is zooming by and Halloween is just around the corner.

Here is my take on the challenge. I created my first Halloween card of the year using Lil Haunts Frankie Frankenstein. I am also using my brand new matstack from DCWV named Betwitched. Yes ladies, new Halloween and Fall stacks are already available for purchase. This beauty can be found at Joanns.

All paper used is DCWV, including the card base.
I used the August Card Sketch for the DCWV Stack-a-holics Challenge.
Sentiment is from Crafty Sprouts, Totally Witchin' set.

Make sure you hop on over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to check out what the rest of the Pink Ladies and Pinkettes created. Hopefully you can play along, there are some Tickled Pink digis to be won :)

Christmas in July, Part 3

Hi Hi! So the Christmas in July challenge really kicked my butt into gear and got me going. I have a goal to have at least 20 Christmas cards by November. I'm thinking if I create at least one a week, I should be ready by then.

I used Beanie Anya from The Greeting Farm. My dp is the Homemade Christmas stack from DCWV which is completely opposite of traditional Red and Green Christmas. But fear not as I have 2 stacks that are traditional and I need to make a dent in those ;)

Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Saturday! I'm here today featuring Amelia from the new Lovey Dovey couple in a whole new light. I thought Id give her the Christmas twist and she looks just as cute :)

Since today is Saturday, it also means a new TGF Sketch exclusively made for the Splitcoaststampers forum. It is Sketch 28. I may have omitted a button here or there from the sketch but the overall feel is there. :D

FFF: Dies/Punch

Happy Friday!! Wow, Friday already? This week just zoomed by!  Ok so onto our FFF Challenge for the week. The theme is Punches and Dies. Dig up those punchers and get punching, hehe. I used for the first time a MS puncher that I bought over a year ago. Talk about eessh!! I used the adorable new Ollie from the OA Lovey Dovey set. Isn't he the cutest little train conductor ever?!

Make sure to visit the TGF Blog to check out the rest of the samples created by my farm sisters.
Thanks for stopping by!

Also, I wanted to remind you that you still have time to play along in the SCS Sketch. Use the sketch as inspiration and use a Greeting Farm image and you're in the running. The deadline is today Friday, July 27 at 11:59pm CST.

I created two samples.
A "fancier" version which has layers and butterflies and flowers, etc.
I used the adorable new Do Si Do Anya. She's great for all sorts of cards.

My "simpler" version features the new Lovey Dovey couple.

Ok, that really is all for now :) I hope you have a great Friday. Thanks for stopping by!!

Grey Goes West Release Hop

Hey All. Today we are celebrating a brand new saucy release over at Graphicat Designs. It is a combined release of Western "raunchy" :) sentiments as well as some "naughty" Fifty Shades of Grey ones. If you are just starting make sure you HOP BACK TO THE START with Cheri where you will find a freebie. If you have been hopping along then WOW, right!! and that means you should be hoping over from Sarahs

The theme of the blog is Western and 50 Shades but since I'm not much of a western gal (Nature and I just do not mesh well, lol) I decided to use the "smutty" 50 Shades sentiments. Hehehe. Ok so I'll confess and say that I haven't read any of the books. I have the general idea of what the first one is about but of course none of the juicy tidbits. So since this Mr Grey is Tall Dark and Handsome with a little kink in him I figured he is just the one we've all been dreaming about me :D

This sexy gal stamp is Raychel from Kraftin Kimmie. I thought she matched perfectly with this sentiment and  because I can just imagine this stance of hers as her online profile picture. You know how us gals can be :) lol

Ok so now hop on over to the Graphicat Sketch Challenge to see the sketch of the week and another freebie. WooHoo!! To see the complete new release, Check them out here
Thanks for stopping by!!

Ps. For a chance to win one of the new sentiments, leave a comment and a random winner will be chosen. Also one person will win the complete release, but for that you must play along  with the sketch :) Remember that you can rotate the sketch if you need to, I did.

I will be playing with:
