Precious Remembrance Shop New Release Hop!

Dyane has designed a cute alphabet stamp set that is a must have for your collection. Just take a look at {Sketchy Alphabet} ...was I right!!

I created a fun Mother's Day card combining the alphabet letters with images from the New Day and Love Coupon Stamp Sets.

I created a daisy using the paint swipe from the New Day set. This idea comes from a card my sweet friend Deepti shared on her blog a couple of weeks ago. I added a patterned paper center to my daisy then carried that to the other end of the card with a matching border and tiny butterfly. 

The daisy petals were stamped with Versa Mark ink then heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The letters for mom where stamped then punched with a 3/4" circle punch. The other portion of the sentiment, 'love you' is from the Love Coupon set.

Precious Remembrance Shop New Release Hop!

Hello and welcome to the Precious Remembrance Shop new release blog hop! This month's stamp set is called {Sketchy Christmas} and it has a bunch of cute trees! You have a chance to win it, details are at the end of this post! You should be arriving here from the perfectly sweet Judy's blog!

Today I'm showcasing a couple of those trees and sentiments on tags I made for some pillow boxes (PTI die). On the striped box, I stamped the tree three times without re-inking onto a PPP Stitched Tag. The sentiment and little arrow are stamped on a PPP Stitched Label. Love the big loopy twine bow on this one! 

The second box features the largest of the trees and arrows stamped directly onto the kraft pillow box.  I added a striped die cut band (PPP Stitched Borders 1) then layered on a PPP Mini Tag and sentiment label (PPP Stitched Labels). To make this box more masculine I opted for some twine circles rather than a bow.

cQc #300 ~ There's Something Good...

Hello bloggy friends! We have a new palette up at ColourQ for you to try. The inspiration photo and colors are super summery. I took one look at the stripes and decided to go quick and simple with a little sparkle!

I used my Precious Remembrance Shop New Day stamp set. The brush strokes were a perfect solution for my quick stripes. This terrific sentiment is from the same set. To make that red ink pop just a bit, I added a thin red mat to my stamped panel before adhering it to my card base. Finally, I added a splash of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear (6mm & 4mm) sequins.

Precious Remembrance Shop New Release!

Hello and welcome! This is an exciting day at the Precious Remembrance Shop! It's new release day and we're celebrating with a blog hop! The team is all sharing a project made with the newest set called {Coffee Love}. I don't love coffee, don't even drink it, but I do love this adorable set!! As my teammate and sweet friend Sue put it, it's sketchy and cute ~ yep that's how I would describe it too!! 

I used several of the stamps from the set for this happy little card. It's designed with some super cute October Afternoon paper, PTI (banner & heart border) and Top Dog Die (leafy flourish) die cuts.

The sweetest finishing touch on my card comes from one of my dearest blogging besties Greta. She sent me the prettiest card with this adorable polka dot ribbon (along with two other colors!) tucked inside ~ thanks Greta!!!

Precious Remembrance ~ Design It Monday!

Hello! Brrrr we had such a cold weekend! It felt good to snuggle in at home after Sunday Mass and be a lazy bones! With Thanksgiving being late this year I've felt off kilter a bit. Decorating the house and doing shopping here and there. It doesn't seem right that one week should make such a difference, but it sure has for me. My organizational brain seems to have taken a vacation, someone send it home to me please!!!

As my post title say this is {Design It Monday} on the Precious Remembrance Shop blog. My post there today has taken a departure from Christmas with something fresh and fun. I hope you'll stop by for a visit!

Design It Monday at the Precious Remembrance Shop!

Welcome friends! What a COLD weekend we had...brrrr!!!
Our son's best friend was married on Saturday. It was a wonderful wedding and of course his bride was radiant. Now for the adventurous part of that day. It had snowed before and during the wedding. We parked in the parking lot, walked across it, down a few levels of concrete stairs, through a tunnel that went under the road, up more levels of stairs on the other side, down a long drive to the lodge, across that parking lot and finally into the building. Fun huh...it was 30 degrees!!! Think that was fun? We did all of that in reverse when we left and by then it was 19 degrees!!! Thank goodness we have heated seats in our car ~ WHEW!!!

But now for the reason you're here, a card! Today it's my turn to post on the Precious Remembrance Shop blog. I hope you can stop by to check out my {Design It Monday} project. The inspiration for this card came from my very handsome son *wink*!!

Precious Remembrance ~ Design It Monday!

Hi there, did you have a good weekend? Hope so. Ours was low key since the hubs worked on Saturday. Max and I held down the fort with a long brisk morning walk for him followed by crafty time for me. It's a win win for the two of us *wink*!! Then of course I get the 2:00 woof with a little hop thrown in that means "mom I need a little treat!" ~ silly little pup!!

So as the week begins my {Design It Monday} post is up on the Precious Remembrance Shop blog today. Won't you take a moment to stop by, check things out and say hello. There are two new sets that where just released on Friday in case you missed them.

Precious Remembrance New Release Blog Hop!

Hello my sweet bloggy friends! Dyane has two super new sets being released today at the Precious Remembrance Shop. You'll love the Border tape #1 set with a mix of images that mimic Washi tape! And the DIY set is full of funky trendy images and sentiments that are easily mixed and matched!
 

To celebrate the new release the design team has come together in a blog hop today to share our projects using the new sets. All of the details and the hop list are at the end of my post. Both sets are being given away! You should be arriving here from Kim's blog where I'm sure she had something extra special to share!

My card has a funky grunge look to it using a variety of the new stamps! First up are three of the border tapes stamped on a white card base. I used both the large and small ink spots to grunge them up. My die cut label holds three different sentiments and the super fun chevrons! Okay now you're off to Sue's blog where I'm sure she'll knock your socks off!!!

Precious Remembrance ~ Design It Monday!

Another summer has come and gone. Autumn entered into our lives again yesterday afternoon with crisp cool air and a beautiful blue sky. I'm a little late in getting this post up today, we busied ourself outside for most of the weekend. Hubby was doing a bit of maintenance on his truck and I did a bit of clean up and organizing in the garage! Not my favorite kind of organizing, but it always feels good to accomplish something like that. And best of all, we just enjoy being together!!
