CCC & CC ~ Happy Spring!

Spring is in the air, it's going to be 70 today!! It will be short lived, there's a chance of snow over the weekend. But I'll take what I can get! I'll even take it in the form of a card. Check out this little number I'll be entering at Curtain Call and CASology this week. They both have spring themed challenges.

I've used three little stamps on my CAS card. The sweet bird's nest and leafy cluster are by IO. The sentiment is from Paper Inspirations. My focal is stamped on and die cut from one of the PPP Stitched Tags. It's topped off with a ME bow. I also added a few 4mm & 6mm Marshmallow Sequins for a little sparkle.

I love the way this card turned out, hope you do too! ~Lisa

Good for One XO!

Hello hello! Have you seen the cute challenge at Curtain Call called Kissing Booth? What a fun idea! I took a little of this and a little of that from the inspiration photo and came up with something kinda fun. Take a look...

All of my images are by Precious Remembrance Shop. First up I stamped the chevon washi tape from the Border Tape stamp set. I just love the little jar from the Oh So Fun stamp set, isn't it cute! I stamped and fussy cut it, then I stamped and embossed just the lid. I finally got my hands on some Liquid Platinum embossing powder and it's terrific!! The tiny banner is made up of triangles from the same set. I filled the jar with little hearts from the Love Coupon stamp set. And finally I made a coupon to be presented at the "kissing booth"! All of the elements on it are from the Love Coupon set too. To echo the sparkly mason jars in the photo, I added several PPP Sparkling Clear Sequins ~ 4mm & 6mm

Thanks for visiting today ~Lisa

Curtain Call With Pretty Pink Posh!

Hi friends! There's a new challenge up at Curtain Call and Pretty Pink Posh is the sponsor! The winner of the challenge will receive a $20 gift certificate to use at Pretty Pink Posh. The PPP design team is joining the Curtain Call crew to share some inspiration.

I've used my PTI Pretty Peonies stamps on this card. When I pulled the dies I decided to use the fancy rectangle frame to turn my card into a shaker! I die cut the opening in light shimmery pink and white cardstocks. I offset the sentiment from the center to let my blooms frame the opening. The large bloom is doubled up and the top flower curved around the edges for depth.

I used a combination of Pink Blush, Metallic Gold and Marshmallow sequins for the shaker. After my flower die cuts were added I tucked in some loops and tails using Ruffle Ribbon (Light Pink).

I'm so happy you took some time to visit with me today. Stop by the Curtain Call blog for loads of inspiration. Hope you have time to play along with their Pink & Pretty challenge! ~Lisa

DeNami Design & Curtain Call!

Hello and welcome! I have a fun post to share today. The DeNami Design team is playing along with the Curtain Call ~ Love Letter challenge! But wait, it gets even better. The winner of this challenge will receive a $20 gift certificate from the DeNami Design store ~ Booya!!

I was drawn to so many elements from the inspiration photo. The paper doily...of course, the twine, the thought of sending a loving message in the mail, the cluster of flowers. And this is how I translated all of them into a card.

I used a Martha Stewart mini kraft envelope with a snippet from a paper doily tucked underneath. The sweet pink die cut label comes with the package of MS envelopes and it was perfect to hold one of my very very fave DeNami sentiments.

The Rosevine Heart  (accented with the teeny heartwas stamped, colored and then trimmed out. Next I cut it to remove one of the flourishes so it would fit around my envelope. A bit of red twine and I was done!

Pop over to the DeNami Design blog or the Curtain Call blog to check out what the designers have created and to get all of the details for the challenge. Remember there's a great prize up for grabs!!!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by today ~Lisa

CC Feeling Nautical ~ Happy Summer!

I hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing Sunday! My hubby and son are in the garage working on a new to our son mower. One of those gadgety Toro thingamabobs that you ride on with some kind of a zero radius whatchamacallit LOL!!! Anyway they are in their glory. Hubby, being the mechanic that he is and former Toro service manager he was is reliving his past. Our son is learning alongside dad, also recalling the things he helped with as the younger sorta gopher dude! Max had all of the heat and commotion he could handle, he's camped out by me with his little head laying near the air vent!! This gave me some crafty time today, so I decided to play along with the newly revamped Curtain Call challenge.

I am oh so smitten with this parade of sweet little beach boys from 100 Proof Press! Don't they look cute marching along this fabulous nautical Washi tape!! I die cut a simple scallop border from some Lily Bee Design paper. And I pulled out this very seasonal sentiment by Savvy Stamps.

Here's a close up of the DeNami button that was simply perfect with the anchor design on it!!

Thanks so much for popping by today. I have a few new followers that I would like to welcome! Happy to have you on this blogging journey with me! Be blessed friends ~Lisa
