{SSSC} Mmm….Donuts

For this weeks SSSC I used some Reverse Confetti products to make a relatively quick and easy card! I used the stamp Donut You Know and co-ordinating Donut You Know Confetti Cuts, as well as some flag dies from MFT. I machine stitched, distressed the papers with TH ink and added a ton of loose rock candy glitter over glossy accents and then 'sprinkled' some little bits of chocolate CS on top of the donut!

Check out what the other Sweet Stampers have for you this week!

{RC} SQUIRREL!

I've got a card to share with you tonight that I made using Reverse Confetti products. Sammy Squirrel  was stamped and coloured with copics. I stamped the accessory nuts onto the smallest circle from Circles 'n' Scallops confetti cuts. The sentiment was stamped onto the flag from the Tag Me Confetti Cuts.

I added some twine and a button, black enamel dots and machine stitching.

Here's the inside of the card, featuring another sentiment from the set. I cut the tail of the sentiment DP tag using the end of the littlest tag from Tag Me.

I used this weeks sketch from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!

Check out what the other SSSC girls have for you:

{RC} Christmas card and tag set

Hi there! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas season!! We had a very nice Christmas, with my hubby and I hosting his extended family….I think there was around 35 of us? It was a lot anyway LOL! It's been ages since I posted! Thankfully I am on some wonderful DT's that give us a nice break during the holiday season to spend with our families :) We are actually heading out in a few hours to go on a little ski trip! The kids are very excited (minus one, who is getting over a bought of the stomach flu)!

I actually made these little tags and card WAYYYY back, but haven't posted them- I actually sent the card to someone and had forgotten to take a photo of it, so I asked her to, and send it to me LOL! I think she's a better photog than me, so be nice ;)

I've used this months Reverse Confetti SFYTT for my card layout. I used the stamp sets  Seasonal Sentiments and Tinsel and Trim. And the following Confetti Cuts:  Circle Garland, Let it Snow, Tag MeTag Me, Too, and Love Note. The little moustaches on the tags are from a die set by The Cat's Pajamas

Here's the big tag and the two smaller tags to go with the card:

A peek underneath the vellum tag layer…

And the backside of the large tag, before I filled in the 'for' and 'love'…..

All attached to the prezzie and ready to go :)

{RC} Sweet Sunday Moose

  • Hey there!! I have a card to share with you today that I had a ton of fun making! I recently received my latest Reverse Confetti order- which was my fave release of all time from RC!! Loved every single thing! One of those times when you wished you were a rich gal and could buy the works….sadly a few things had to be left behind for another time ;) But I did get quite a good haul!

I've used Marley Moose and coloured him up with copics and fussy cut him out, popping up on foam squares. I pieced the scarf from the same DP that the snowflake is cut from. The snowflake die, btw, is also one of my new RC purchases- it's called Let it Snow confetti cuts. I used the middle sized snowflake.

We'd love to have you play along with Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge this week! Here is your sketch:

{Reverse Confetti} North Pole Delivery!

Hey there! I have a card to show you today that I made with my new Reverse Confetti products! I put in a rather large order, as I loved all of their last release! It was hard not to buy the whole nine yards! But I did snatch up this awesome stamp set North Pole Wishes- I just love the fonts and the little envie and holly accessories! I am kinda kicking myself that I didn't order the co-ordinating die set, but I was trying to make cuts to my cart where I thought I could get away with using my scissors. I wish I would have had the dies LOL! I might add them into my next order ;)

I really thought the one piece chevron die was unique- it's called Triple Chevies. The snowflake die set, Let it Snow, also has a unique, more squarish look, so I had to get it too ;)
I also used my trusty go-to layering tools from Perfect Paper Crafting: Perfect Cutting Mat and Perfect Layers Mini to get my black 1/16th" borders. Use code Jenny5% to receive 5% off your order!

I used the November SFYTT, replaced the rectangle panels with the chevrons and moved the circle to the other side.

{RC} Hoot Hoot Hooray!

Hi there! Tonight I have a card to share with you that I made using some awesome Reverse Confetti products, as well as Perfect Paper Crafting Tools. I made this card using the current Reverse Confetti SFYTT. The sketch challenge lasts ALL month long now, so I am super excited about that! I love sketch challenges!

Here's the details! I used Oliver Owl and sentiment. I coloured him with copics and paper-pieced his shirt and tie and adhered his tie just at the top, giving the bottom a little curl to add some dimension! I added glossy accents to his eyes, beak and feet. I popped him up on foam dots onto an MFT stitched circle die. I added some wooden dots, a wooden star and a wood button tied with MFT's twine. the wood dots and button were kind of a boring light colour so I used a sponge and distress ink to give them some nice warmth.
I got my nice even borders using PPC's awesome tools- Perfect Layers Mini and Perfect Cutting Mat…two of my fave tools for card making! Remember to use my code: Jenny5% to save on your order!! I am really loving the way this masculine card turned out and I am planning on saving it for my FIL's bday this winter. It reminds me of him, LOL!

Here is the inside….kept it plain and simple, with a strip of DP and another sentiment from the set.

{RC} Cast a Spell on Me

Today I have a card to share with you that I made for Reverse Confetti's October SFYTT. I used Cast A Spell and coordinating Cast A Spell confetti cuts.  The little star cut panel behind is Stars Pretty Panel Confetti Cuts, backed with the rectangle panel from the Class Act confetti cut. I love that these dies all work so well with each other!  I added a few of the lil stars along with sequins and enamel dots for a cute embellishment. The longer panel was stamped with Memento Luxe ink in Pear Tart using the Whole Lotta Dots stamp. I stamped the sentiment in black versa fine ink over top of the pattern.

I popped up the witch onto a silver foil paper circle. I wish it would photograph better but oh well! It's super shiny IRL! I added a rustic jute twine black bow and my black mats were made using my Perfect Paper Crafting tools, the Perfect Cutting Mat and Perfect Layers Mini.

{RC} You... are my happy

I thought I'd play along in the Reverse Confetti colour challenge, which let me tell you, was NOT easy, LOL!!! Yellow and pink are probably my least favourite colours to work with, hehe! So this was indeed a challenge for me. I almost didn't even post this card, but some crafty friends told me to just take the plunge and enter it!

I've used Chevron Pretty Panels, subbing in some patterned paper where the white cut outs were. The easiest way to do this, I find, is to adhere double sided tape to the back of the panel (once you pop out the chevrons) and then flip if over and lay in the patterned strips. I backed the Pretty Panel die with the scalloped rectangle from  Love Note, and added hearts from that die set. I added 'you' in gold paper from the confetti cuts Tag Me, Too

The inside uses a stamp from All About You, stamped in grey ink….

{RC} SFYTT- Hello Pumpkin

Hey there!! Today I have a quick card to show you that I made for Reverse Confetti's sketch challenge this month. Unfortunately, due to the unbelievably sad and slow
internet access I have, a wayyyyy out here in the country, I was unable to get it into the contest in time. A mere 7 minutes. Thanks a bunch Platinum internet. You suck, as always.

Anyway, here is my card and I am kinda liking it! Sometimes it's nice to get back to the basics and just stamp! I used a few different RC stamps and dies: Forever Fall for the small pumpkin and the sentiment,  Class Act for the larger pumpkin (which is actually the apple turned upside down), Class Act Confetti Cuts, Tag Me, Too confetti cuts and Whole Lotta Dots.

My CS is MFT, as well as the circle dies, button and twine. I added some MME enamel dots in as well. Thanks for stopping by!! Be sure to pop in tomorrow, as I have something different going on then ;)

{PPC/Xyron} Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Perfect Paper Crafting and Xyron blog hop!

I have a really fun and regal card to share with you today! I've used products from both of these amazing companies (which I'll chat about a bit later) as well as some great die cuts from Reverse Confetti: Tag Me, Too confetti cuts, Arrow confetti cut (with the centre fletchings cut out), and Love Note confetti cut (also what I cut the scallop border from).
I used a circle embossing folder on the cream panels and sponged distress ink to soften everything up. I cut the scallop tag again from vellum and loosely adhered it to the cream tag. Those gorgeous gold words were cut from gold foil paper and then ran thru the Xyron 2.5" Create a Sticker to get easily adhere them to the vellum! No mess- easy peasy!

I always use my Perfect Paper Crafting Mini and Perfect Cutting Mat to achieve those perfect layers. My preference is a 1/16" border, but you can choose one of many options, all with the same tool! Use Jenny5% to get a discount in the store :)

Here is our hop lineup:
Jenny Peterson (you are HERE!)

Xyron will be giving out prizes EVERY day, so be sure to check their blog out each day of the hop! And Paper Perfect Crafting will be giving away a $50 gift card, so hop along and leave comments to increase your chances of winning!!

I've used this months Colour Challenge for inspiration! And I used the August SFYTT as well, just because it had so many nice layers to show off my PPC tools!!

{RC} YOU are my happy...

Hiya! Just popping in to share a card that I made for this month's Reverse Confetti Colour Challenge

I used the new Fabulous Flamingo stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts. The sentiment is embossed in black and is from All About You stamp set (as is the inside sentiment). On the half circle panel behind the flamingos, I white embossed one of the circle patterns from the set Whole Lotta Dots and then lightly sponged over it in soft distress ink to really pick up the pattern. The banner dies are by MFT. I used the sketch from The Deconstructed Sketch #161

Here is the inside…I accidentally smudged the lime sentiment (I freakin' hate it when that happens!!! Grrrr!), but it was the last to go on, so such is life! I think I'll just give this to my hubby and he likely won't even notice, so oh well! haha

{RC} Quirky Cuties Hop!

Hey there! I'm super excited and honoured to be participating as a special guest for Reverse Confetti's Quirky Cuties Blog Hop! I am a colouring enthusiast, so this stamp line is one of my RC faves! They are such fun to colour…if you haven't picked one of these sweet characters up yet, I highly encourage you to! You definitely won't be sorry that you did- I have so much fun colouring these cuties!

You should have arrived from the oh-so-talented Stacey Schafer's blog!

I chose to work with the newest Quirky Cutie, Rocky Racoon…. I've coloured him with copics and a bit of black pastel pencil for the dark shadows. I glossed up his nose (love the heart noses!), eyes and paw pads with glossy accents. I fussy cut him out- His shirt is paper pieced- and used some foam dots to pop him up on an extended cut of the new Tag Me, Too Confetti Cut.

You'll also see Arrow, Love Note, and Tag Me Confetti Cuts used on my card.

The inside of the card features the word dies from Tag Me, Too and sentiment from Rocky Racoon, stamped in Memento Luxe Nautical Blue.

Anyone interested in some PRIZES?? Oh yeah!  TWO random commenters will win:
Studio 3 Solutions Color Cubbie + 3 Quirky Cuties (winner’s choice)…so leave comments along the way to increase your chances of winning!

Up next on the hop is my uber talented friend and favourite kiwi, Miss Sarah Gough! And if you get a little lost along the way, you can always check back at the Reverse Confetti Blog for the complete hop list. Thanks for stopping by!
