Red Knitted Capelet

Rebecca's Shrug

I made this shrug for Rebecca. I'm happy with how it turned out. It is a little big, so she will be able to wear it for awhile.

I don't know why the pattern name is called potato chip, but I think it turned out super cute. I made this for my sister in law.

Big Ol' Bag

I made this bag for my friend Tosha. I just finished it and we felted it on Monday. She took pictures after it dried. It is a big bag. I'm so glad she loves it!

These are by no means wonderful pictures, I am no photographer, but you get the idea of the shrug I made.

Drop Stitch Shrug

I started this shrug awhile ago, but I ended up pulling it all out and restarting. I don't think the gauge is very accurate on this pattern. The first attempt at it, it was going to be too small. Also, I added 5 rows of ribbing and the next row I knitted all the way across to give it a ridge to show a change from the edge to the beginning of the pattern. My friend Jessica was helping me with all of this and we both agreed it made it look more finished.

Knitted bikini

Tuesday night we were hanging out with our friends. She showed me the bikini she knitted and it got put on RJ. Too cute.

Fingerless

I whipped out a pair of these fingerless gloves early this week. But now it has warmed up, that I probably won't wear them out of the house, until a cold front comes through. I feel so 80's with them on.

My Sweater

Here is a sweater for me that I finished this week. I started it about a year ago and before I moved in Aug. all I had left was to sew up one side. I joined a knitting group and went for the first time Wed. night and finished my sweater there. It was lots of fun!

I made her this cute card! And the sweater she is wearing below is just like the one I made for RJ but purple.

Pink is for Girls

I finished up another baby blanket for a friend. Obviously, they are having a girl. Its a square blanket that measures about 21 in. I also made a card to go with the present. They are having a baby shower/house warming party on Saturday.

Knitting Rocks My World!!

I love knitting. It is such a wonderful thing because it is a multi-tasking hobby. For instance last night I was reading A Thousand Splendid Suns and finished knitting this beautiful baby blanket for a friend. Or I love watching TV or a movie and knitting. And the yarn is just so soft and cuddly! I love it!

In 5 Days!

I finished a cardigan for Rebecca in 5 days! I was so excited about it, that I couldn't put it down.

It's a tad bit big, but oh well.
