First day of First Grade

I started with the January sketch challenge from Life. Paper. Scrapbook. but morphed it into a double page layout. I really love some of these pictures and so happy to get some scrapbooking done!! Thanks for looking!

My oldest

 Red ribbon week was awhile ago and one of the days she was supposed to wear sports clothes. We don't have much of that, but had just received from my mother-in-law this shirt of Steve's from when he was a kid. Super cute on her!

 This picture she drew yesterday. Starting left top: I heart u all, Mermaid, ariel is a princess. The mermaid is saying Mermaid and next to her is the surfboard. Then it is from Joy, to Mom, to Dad, to Nina, to Joy, to Bebe, to Unkie J, to Holly and to Bear; from Joy and Nina.

Ballet Recital

Rebecca had her end of the year ballet recital this last weekend. The girls were all so lovely and Rebecca did a wonderful job dancing.

More Curlies

We bought sponge rollers last month and curled Rebecca's hair. She loved it! It looked beautiful.

Big Day!!

So my dad bought my girls a pancake smiley pan and we got it last night in the mail. So this morning, we HAD to make pancakes...

 Then after breakfast, lots happened. We have a loose tooth that fell out and so in the afternoon Rebecca helped me make a little bag for the tooth fairy to find her tooth. I made the bag with felt and floss and ribbon. I cut out the R and the star with my cuttlebug and the tooth I did by hand. I hand stitched everything on and the whole thing together with embroidary floss. It took maybe an hour or so. It has been a fun day!

It was a beautiful day yesterday, so for lunch we had a picnic.

Some Disney Highlights

I took 102 pictures over the two days (plus, my mom had a camera and was snapping away too). I deleted blurry ones and got down to 78. Not bad. Here are a couple of highlights.

The Nutcracker

We went to the Nutcracker in San Francisco earlier this month. It was so fun and amazing! We had a great time with our friends!

Somebody is turning 5 today!!!

Who could it be?

Rebecca! So excited to see this big girl growing up. She loves to be goofy and she loves her sister. She is the girliest little girl too! I love my 5 year old!

Our Christmas Tree

California Academy of Sciences

Last week we went to San Francisco to the California Academy of Sciences. We had lots of fun. We saw penguins, albino alligator, starfish, butterflies, macaws, fish, sharks, eels, snakes and lots more! The kids loved it. Rebecca loved touching the starfish, Nina wouldn't put her hand in.
