Altered P I made for my sister-in-law. I made it with Scraptivity's April Kit, but didn't post it on my blog because I didn't want her to see it and then I forgot to post it ever!
Altered Dominoes used to make a little mini book. I used Scraptivity's June 2010 Kit. Make sure to check out Scraptivity's blog for Games starting today and going on throughout the month!
That April kit is amazing and has such awesome things that come with it for some great techniques. In this first layout you can see the Tim Holtz Film Strip Ribbon that I used.
On this second layout you can see the slides that come in it and the technique of using distress inks to color your pictures. I colored the leaves and trees in the picture. I LOVE how this layout turned out.
On Scraptivity! we are having a Spring Fling challenge leading up to our National Scrapbooking Day Crop. I'm the hostess of challenge #4 and the challenge is to create your own paper flowers for your project.
Here is my DPL:
Here are some examples of ideas of how to make your own paper flowers to get your inspired:
Scraptivity is having a SPRING FLING! Starting on March 3 and leading up to National Scrapbooking Day (May 1) there will be 6 challenges posted every 10 days. You must finish each challenge to be eliglible for the prize of Scraptivity Guest Designer for two months!
I made this cute little notebook as a sketch book for Carol. I also used my Bind-It-All for the first time on this!!!! It was so awesome! Thanks Mom!!!
It is December 1st which means that Scraptivity has their December kit available!! Here are two projects I have made. The first is the December Sketch Layout and mine is Distressed Fairy. The second is a CAS card. I just love how this card came together! I'll being posting more later!
A double page layout I did recently from a trip Steve, Julie and I took down to Hatch. On the right side are pictures of us at the rocks that you climb up by Mossy Cave. The right side was also from the November Sketch for Scraptivity!
November Kit for Scraptivity is released today!! You can check it out here. Here are the projects I made with it. The first is a banner I made for my sister in law, and this box below for it to go in.
I made this good luck card with the cool Makins texture sheets and Core'dinations cardstock that are included in the kit. Plus I just love the Ace charm!
Two layouts. This first is a picture I took back in 2001 as a freshman in college. I loved the way the snow looked, but maybe it's just because I was a Texan living in a place that had lots of snow. Anyways, the bottom of this 8x8 layout actually has a paper ruffle border, but scanning it didn't show it off so well (so this little picture I hope is better.)
This second layout is from the November Kit Sketch. I used the Makins texture plate to stamp across the center of my background. I really love how this lo turned out.
This is definitely going down as an all time favorite layout of mine. I applied for a Design Team position and I made the first cut. The second cut was to create a project about yourself that had inchies (1" by 1" squares). This is what I made.
Well...it was announced today. I made the new Design Team for Scraptivity! Yay!! Things will officially get started in November and I am so excited!!
