May Scrapbooking Challenge

 I am smiling when I think about scrapbooking. It has made a come back in my life and a mess all over my craft area.

So happy to have scrapped these pictures. They are only 2 years old from my daughter's birthday party.

I used the sketch challenge from Rochelle Spears for the month and Tic Tac Toe challenge from Scrap with Stacy. I did the bottom row that included 3 pictures, flowers and word stickers. 

Poor Sickie

My little one has been sick lately. We had a morning dip in the hot tub while we hung out at home together. She also took a toy bunny and put it on the back of the car. It fell off and got smashed. So the second picture is of her picking up the pieces to the bunny and then she brought it inside to throw away. She cried and cried while she picked up the pieces which didn't help with being sick.

An Easter Layout! Woo hoo!

I'm so excited to have completed another page! I used some pictures from Easter 2012 egg hunt. I also used a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy. I am using my stash, by using up my Making Memories Garden Party kit that I have had for years. It has stickers and papers and punch outs and flowers. Thanks for looking!

Nina's 2nd Birthday

Since Nina just turned 3, I thought it would be good to scrapbook a few pictures from last years birthday. I have not been scrapbooking much over the past year except I finished Nina's 1st year. I'm determined to do better!

I used the April sketch from C'est Magnifique to get me going on this layout. I used papers and stickers from Echo Park A Walk in the Park. The ribbon on top is by May Arts Diagonal Sripes Pink Ribbon. I love this ribbon!!! I used the Martha Stewart butterfly punch and a cheap dollar butterfly punch (the tiny one). I also used up some of my Making Memories teal mini staples.

Pigtails with Headband

Love this hairstyle on this curly headed mop. This headband is cotton and super wide and it just makes me think of a house mom from the 50's...maybe I'm off on the decade. But I just find it so cute on her. Plus swimsuit on...always with the swimsuit and this one. And don't miss the stick on earrings:)

She had her face painted at Round Table Family Night tonight...Miss Ashley turned her back for a moment and Nina was helping herself :) Feel free to click on the picture to take in even more of this hobo goodness.

All about the Swimsuit

Its hard to take the swimsuit off this little one with out lots of screaming. She has possibly gone to sleep with it on and still won't let me take it off the next morning, so we might just throw a dress over it. This one is a silly one :)

New Outfits

Swimming Lessons and Babies

These pictures are after her first swimming lesson on her birthday. We came home and opened presents from Bebe and Bear and Unkie J. She loves her new dolls. She is doing really good in her swim lessons. Daddy took her in last week and she was going under water really well and she is such a good little kicker! Tonight is the last one, sadly, but it has been such a great experience.

Nina turned 2 ...

a week and a half ago! woops! We celebrated with the Palmer clan on Easter sunday with some yummy brown butter frosted brownies. On her birthday she had her first swim lesson and the next night Rebecca had a birthday party. Saturday we had pizza with extended family staying in Danville and Sunday was Easter, so on Monday our little foursome family celebrated Nina's coming into this world with some Key Lime Cupcakes and a little party on the front lawn complete with silly string and those little bottles with streamers in them. Nina was not a fan of the silly string, but loved the icing, and presents and being with her dad.

Nina's 1st Year Scrapbook

I've been working on. A good thing since she is turning 2 on Thursday! Still have at least 5 pages to go and some calendars to print out. But I'm moving in the right direction at least!
