IndigoBlu - Demo Inspiration - Winter Blues

Good morning! :)
This month's IndigoBlu Challenge theme is...Winter Blues.
A gorgeous colour way for this time of year, and this little collection of trees from Anna Marie Designs is a lovely touch, even if you're not one for a big tree or lots of decorations.
The trees are coated in IndigoBlu gesso ... Grandma's Teacup & Park Lane...then embossed using the Twinkle Star stamp.
The base also had a coat of Park Lane, and a smidging of Fine texture paste added to resemble snow.

I'm entering this into

Craft Stamper - Take a Technique - Sharing the Season
That's Crafty - Season's Greetings
Country View - Create a Scene
Fairy Tale - Something Metal

The prize on offer this month is:

1:   2 Large stamp plates
or
2:   4 Small stamp plates
or
3:   1 Large and 2 small plates

There’s also the Winner’s Badge, and one for the Top 3, to display proudly on your blog, and the WINNER of the challenge will also be invited to do a GUEST SPOT on a future Challenge Launch post. That’s right, your work will be on the Challenge Blog alongside the Design Team!
Also the Top Three each month (chosen by our lovely DT) will all be invited to do an inspiration piece to be included on the new reminder post that now goes live mid challenge. So, if you’d like a chance to be featured on the IndigoBlu Challenge Blog get those stamps out and get creating!

Thank you for visiting...
hope you have a lovely weekend.
Happy Crafting

A Snowman set...

THAT time is fast approaching and if you're anything like me.....you're not ready!!!! :O  I don't know about you, but for me 365 days just isn't enough notice for Christmas!!! Eeeek!!!
BUT...Fab news!!!! Help is at hand!! The wonderful people in La Pashe land have jumped to our aid with the Christmas Box CD. There are heaps of images...digi's...toppers...gift tags...embellishments...sentiments and of course - decoupage on there, just ready for you to print and turn into something special for Christmas!
I've made a card/gift card holder...a candle and a little candy cane holder, which could be used as either a tree decoration or a table place name. All of these can be made quite easily with the images from the CD.
La Pashe also have an offer on at the moment where you can try their fabulous printing papers for FREE!!! ... HERE ...
So go...go...go.... you know you want need to!!!! :)
Happy Christmas Crafting All xxxx

Mo's Challenge #13...Birthdays!

Unfortunately, I had to let my team mates, on Mo's challenge blog, down this week :o( With everything going on with my parents etc I didn't get a chance to craft! Then the 'white stuff' arrived, and although I was grounded for a while, and the girls were off school...they just seemed to be in and out of the garden...in and out of wet and dry clothes...and inbetween all that...they were hungry!!! tut!!! ;o)
Anyway, last night I managed to find the bottom of my craft desk!! Yay me! So, although it's late...here's my card for this weeks challenge x
Before I go, I thought I'd share with you a little bit of colour in amongst all the white that we in the UK have got right now...So pretty!!! Recycled Icicles...
This is where a huge icicle has been dripping! The splashes have frozen! ... And so did this plant!!!

Snow, Snow and More Snow!!!

I hope you all enjoyed the train ride yesterday... and managed to visit all 8 carriages! :)
Don't forget to keep checking back to the 'Station' (Inspiration Blog) though...as your tickets were for a RETURN journey...oh yes!! You will get another adventure some time soon!

Well...I don't know about you...but as I didn't have to go out in the car yesterday...I loved the snow!! And as the girls schools are closed again today...I still love it! Mind you...because our road has a bend and then a steep hill at the end...I couldn't go out anywhere if I needed to! I couldn't even get off the drive! *.*
Later in the afternoon a few very kind lads were there helping people up the hill! :)
These were taken at mid morning...then we had more!

So, so pretty though!

The girls...and Rolo...thoroughly enjoyed their day.......

Daisy kept lying down in it!

And before you all say...where are their hats...I know...I know...I told them too!!
