Gorgeous New Bella ~ Easel Box....

Hi All
Today I'm sharing some fabulous new Tattered Lace goodies... including dies, an embossing folder set and loads of awesome embellishments! :)
I have made a drawer based easel card from some plain white card stock. Cut some panels for the sides and top from designer paper, then embossed them with the lovely new 'Script' embossing folder. These have then been edged with distress ink. I attached a length of the gorgeous new ribbon across the top of the drawer base before adhering the easel card.
I put together a 'stop' panel (the bit that stops the easel part of the card from falling down flat) and made a double looped bow and stuck it on. To which I added a couple of flat backed pearls and one of the beautiful new resin flowers... I also added one to the front of the drawer.
The new Bella's Body was cut from vanilla card stock, and also edged with distress ink. Bella has some wonderful new clothes and accessories available, of which I used Bella's Short Dress and one of Bella's Hair dies. I've cut one each of the short dresses and layered them....then cut a further 8 of the lacy short dress and made them into a double tiered long skirt back for her. I cut her a matching pair of shoes and gave her a lovely long hairstyle.

With a couple of Rose Corners, cut and distress inked for the easel top, and a parasol for Bella, all she needed were the words...Bella......Gorgeous New Chic Lady in contrasting brown cardstock to finish it all off. The easel card can be folded down and tied with the ribbon x

Rural England

In a very British week it seems only right to show you a card with a scene which reminds us why we love our  country. This is 'Rural England' ...a decoupage sheet from La Pashe which I've made up and used on one of the Drawer Easel cards... also from La Pashe, and available in either Pastels or 'Red,White and Blue'.  These are sooooo easy to make and turn a card into a lovely gift.
I'd love to be sitting in the garden of a quaint old thatched cottage... with a nice cup of tea and a good book. Instead I'm huddled indoors with the rain lashing down outside!!  Well...we can't have it all now can we? :)

Have a good weekend...whatever you're doing xx

Mo Challenge # 88....

Morning! :)
Another week has shot past and we are another week closer to the summer holidays! Yip! If only the weather would catch up with the times huh? It's not just been wet this week, it's been cold too!
Well...on with this weeks challenge. A lovely one this week with heaps of options! The actual title of the theme is 'F,F,F,F' ...which roughly translates to ... 'Fairies, Flutters, Flowers and Fancy Folds'...of which you can include one, two, three or all of on your creation.
Me being me has gone for the 'all of' option. The image I've used is Teacup Fairy from Mo's Digital Pencil  as my 'Fairy' ... I've made an easel card as my fancy fold...used punched butterflies as my 'Flutters' and Prima Hydrangeas for my 'Flowers'.

A Special Celebration!

We {the girls and I, kind of 'we' :0) } have had a lovely afternoon! It was my Auntie's 80th birthday yesterday, and today she had a very special Birthday party!
I thought that a very special person and very special birthday, deserved a very special card...
I made my first (I would think of many!) Easel card...with gorgeous gold (effect!) foiled papers and lovely thick matching vellum.
One Stop Craft Challenge this week have the theme of 'Celebration' ... I think celebrating 80 years should qualify!

Papers - from deep within one of my paper drawers!!
Sentiment - printed from PC
