2 for the price of 1!

Hiya! As the title suggests, I've got 2 cards to show today, not ideal but I made both of these over the weekend then forgot to blog them and the challenges end today! Oops!
Here's the first one for the new challenge Seize the Birthday! I'm still on a mission to use neglected stash and I think I'm doing pretty well! This pad is new but the stamps & dies I've had for yonks and until now, haven't seen the light of day!

Challenges;
Seize the Birthday - this sketch (female week) -->
Top Tip Tuesday - Fur or feathers
Die-ing for a Challenge - Celebration
Allsorts - Dies & punches

Supplies;
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And here is the second. These double sided sticky florishy things I've had for ages too, and I'm not really sure why I haven't used them! They're meant for flocking, glitter or foil so no excuse really! And I have an alphabet set too - madness! ;-) I took the sketch pretty literally as I thought it was perfect for this flourish! Thanks for stopping in, I hope you like them!
Challenges;
CAS(E) this Sketch - this sketch -->
Dynamic Duos - these colours -->
Addicted to CAS - Embossing (behind the front panel, it doesn't show up too well)
Rocket Man!
Hiya! I'm back again with this little card. I've been making loads recently but never seem to be home in the light to photo them. I've got about 5 to share over the next few days and might even get some crafting time in this weekend! Woo hoo!
This card is using one of my new fave things, Mister Hueys spray mists! I got the white one and the silver one and used them both in this card over a Distress Inked background. I love the effect it gives, like a sparkly night sky! So this little rocket man seemed the perfect choice! I hope you like it and thanks for looking!
Challenges;
Waltzingmouse Sketches - this sketch -->
Colour Q - these colours -->
My Mums Craft shop - Inspired by a Song, Rocket Man, obvs! ;-)
Woo hoo! I started off today by making this little Halloween card for the plethora of challenges out there - I couldn't miss out! ;-) The papers were freebies by the way! I've put a link at the bottom. So here it is, I hope you like it! Hopefully I'll be back over the weekend with some other crafty bits! Thanks for looking!
More Hexagons!
Hiya! I hope you're having a good week! I have, minus the hayfever! I've been making loads of cards recently - just not had time to blog many of them yet, hopefully soon. And I promise they're not all with hexagons! ;-) This card is for the funnest challenge I've seen! This weeks Papertrey Make it Monday challenge is called Roll the Die, all the details are here but basically you print out and fill in the sheet, then roll the dice to see what options come up and that's how you make your card! Here's my sheet, it's not very clear so I've written below what my choices were;
Orientation -
5 - Vertical
Layout -
3 - Sketch #3
Stamp Sets Image -
4 - Happy Hexagons
Stamp sets sentiment/supporting dies -
1 - Hexagon plate (phew!)
Colour scheme -
2 - Black, white & pink
Embellishments -
6 - Pearls
I'm so glad the Hexagon plate and stamps came up, I'm not sure I'd be good at spacing them without that! Although I've just read back and it doesn't say dies on the sheet! I thought Erin said it in her video but now I'm not so sure! Whoops!!
I thought the colours, layout and hexagons led to quite a funky, girlie card so I chose a bright pink and some stars, then added a bit of doodling. I use a mini square punch to make the banner end on the sentiment. I hope you like it!
Challenges;
Papertrey: Make it Monday - Roll the die
Top Tip Tuesday - Circles
Papertake - Girlie
Passion for Papertrey - Anything goes
Moxie Fab Challenges - Stamp it Week - Birthday
A little Patriotism!
Evening! I hope you've had a good Sunday! Jamie was working and I seemed to have slept through most of it - I must have needed it!! I thought I'd make this little card though while the football is on - the last match for a while - hurrah! ;-)
I really wanted to join in this weeks Daring Cardmakers challenge of 6 patterned papers. (Sometimes I read a challenge and I can't get it out of my head until I've done somethng with it - just me?!)
So I used various bits from my scrap drawers to make this patriotic little number! I know we don't send anything like this in the Uk so I made it a sort of 'Way to go/Congrats' type of card. I hope you like it and thanks for stopping in!
Sparkly Flourish!
Hello! I hope you're having a nice weekend! I'm back again to show you a little christmas card I've made for a couple of challenges. I adore this stamp and after I'd bought it went to a craft show and saw all the beautiful things people had made with it, and yet I've still only used it a couple of times! But when I saw what Mandi & Chrissie had planned for this week, I dug it back out again. I've embossed it in white then added crystal & silver glitter then a couple of teeny gems. I didn't use the sentiment attached to the image for some reason and went for this Waltzing Mouse one instead. I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by!
Challenges;
Morning peeps! Cripes, how is it wednesday already?! Love it though! I'm back today with another Truly Scrumptious challenge, and, as the title suggests, it's our very last one! :-( Thanks so much to Michele for running it for us and to everyone who has entered in the last 3 and a half years! The last theme then is Flower Power! And there's a $20 voucher to spend with Simon Says Stamp to be won!
Here's my card, still loving all the red, white and blue! I hope it'll stick around for a bit! I went a bit jazzy with this card and I quite like it! It's a bigger card than I normally make, I think it's 5x7. I hope you like it, and I hope you can join in for our last challenge!
It;s for this weeks Less is More challenge; One layer and 3 stamps! I rifled through my stash and found this funky text stamp, made a nesties embossed frame around it and coloured in/glittered some of the words then used 2 star stamps, used the large in bright blue and the small one in 2 other blues. Thanks for looking!
I'm here again for my second week guest designing for Cupcake Craft challenge, this week we'd like to see a Birthday card using no patterned papers. Penny Black Saturday Challenge #197!
Good morning! What a grey day! Oh well, lots to do indoors today then a 50's party tonight!! Should be fun!
I'm back today though with the details of this weeks Penny Black Saturday challenge, this week is Spots & Stripes! And there's a $20 voucher to be won from 1-2-3 Stitch for a lucky random entry.
Here's my card - more stash using up as I've had this pad for a while, it came free with a magazine and hasn't been touched til now. The backing paper is stripey with patterns between, I'm not sure if it shows but there's some cute little bunting! But I thought it would be good as a mens card so I've kept the flowery-bling-ness to a minimum! Have a lovely saturday, thanks for popping over!
