Mothers Day Daffodils & Tulips

Hi again! I'm back to share this card I've made using this weeks Less is More challenge. It's a colour scheme of Yellow & Green - perfect for spring flowers :-) I've used some Clearly Besotted stamps & dies to make this little panel of daffs & tulips. To start off with I was just playing around with these stamps - I think I would have masked a bit more carefully from the start if I'd thought about it - oops ;-) I've loosely based it on this weeks Sketch Saturday sketch but I moved the sentiment a bit. Thanks for stopping in! xx

Supplies;
Stamps & dies - Clearly Besotted 'Spring Blooms'
Ink - Stampin' Up 'Daffodil Delight', 'Crushed Curry', 'So Saffron', 'Pear Pizzazz' & 'Garden Green'
Sentiment - Papertrey Ink 'Blooming Button Bits'
Cardstock - Stampin' Up 'Pear Pizzazz'

Hugs & Kisses (SSS Feb kit #3)

Hiya! This little card is my 3rd so far with this months Simon Says Stamp card kit. I've used the cardstock, patterned papers and the cute little Mason jar paper clip. I filled the heart with a piece of pink paper which I triple embossed with the clear powder, also from the kit. The sentiment is from a new Clearly Besotted set.
I've made it for this weeks Less is More challenge of Pink & Grey - mine's a shiny version of grey ;-) It's also for the current Addicted to CAS challenge of Hugs & Kisses and also another entry for the Fushion challenge. I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Supplies;
Paper, cardstock, clear embossing powder & paper clip -Simon Says Stamp 'February 2015 card kit'
Sentiment - Clearly Besotted 'Simple Silhouettes'
Dies - Lil' Inker 'Stitched Rectangles' & Nestabilities 'Circles'
Other - WOW! embossing powder 'Platinum'

Happy New Home

Morning! I'm back to share this card I've made for my friend who has just bought her first house. I used this weeks Less is More colour scheme, the current Wanna Sketch as well as this fortnights Addicted to CAS challenge of Dots. I used this pretty spotty paper as my starting point and paper pieced the house along with some Pool Party cardstock. I wanted the sentiment to look like smoke from the little chimney so I drew some wiggly lines to stamp my letters along (it's with a mini wooden alphabet set and heavy reliance on my Stamp-a-ma-jig! Haha!) For the little smoke swirls I masked off the flourishes in the Papertrey Sending a big Thank You stamp, then added some gems. I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by! (Apologies for the drab photography!)

Supplies;
Stamp - Doodlebug Home Sweet Home & Papertrey Sending a big Thank You
Paper - Echo Park Springtime
Cardstock - Stampin' Up Pool Party
Ink - Stampin' Up Pool Party & Smoky Slate
Other - clear gems

Two more Christmas cards!

Evening! This is going to be very quick, it's my bedtime and I'm knackered! Haha! I'll add all the links & details and hopefully take better piccys in the morning, but for now, here they are;
This first one is for this weeks Less is More One Layer Starry Night theme and CASology's Festive challenge. It's also my interpretation of Kristina Werner's Day 3 card in her Holiday Card Series.

And this one is using this weeks Just Add Ink colours theme of Early Espresso, Lost Lagoon, Very Vanilla & Gold. (I didn't have Lost Lagoon so I went with Bermuda Bay) And also this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch. Thanks for looking, I'll be back in the morning to fill in the gaps. Zzzzzz ;-)

Halloween Wishes

Hi! I hope you having a good week. I've whipped up a little Halloween card this week. I don't send them or even do anything for Halloween but I still like to make one or two! This stamp is actually a whole witch flying on a broom image but I only wanted something small so I did a bit of masking to just get the witches hat, and of course that needed some sparkle! ;-) The pattern strip is a portion of a background die which I cut a few times from different colours then randomly slotted together. It's for this weeks CASe this Sketch, Less is More Autumn colours theme and also this weeks Paper Players theme of Halloween. I hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Supplies;
Stamp - Penny Black 'Halloween Mimi'
Cardstock - Kraft, Stampin' Up 'Pumpkin Pie', 'Basic Black' & 'Smoky Slate'
Die - Hero Arts 'Triangle Background'
Sentiment - Dovecraft (old one)
Colouring - Copics & Wink of Stella 'clear'

Cats and Coffee!

Hiya! Happy weekend! I'm back with a card that I don't really like but I've been shuffling the bits around on my desk all week and was getting sick of the sight of them so I followed the Less is More sketch and stuck it all down! Haha! I wanted to stamp a sentiment but the gold embossing powder seemed so dull next to the mirror card so I used some little pearls. I'm not sure where this die is from, it came ready cut with a Dies to Die for order. I did a quick search but didn't want to spend too long Googling 'cat dies'! :-/
The colour scheme is inspired by this weeks CASology cue card of Java, lots of rich coffee colours came into my head and this paper reminds me of the patterns the coffee shops swirl into the foam. I'm  adding it into this weeks Papertake challenge of die cuts too. Thanks for looking, have a lovely day!

Supplies;
Die - not sure
Card stock - Stampin' Up 'Early Espresso'
Paper - Basic Grey 'Bittersweet'
Other - gold mirror card and gold mini pearls

Stencilled #1

Hello! I hope you've had a good weekend! Not sure if you've seen but there's a sale on at Online Card Classes. I love these classes but never have a solid chunk of time to take part in them so don't want to spend the money. However, as they're now both finished and cheaper, I thought I would take the Stencilled class in my own time. I've got quite a few stencils but need a jump start to use them. Here is my first card using Debby Hughes' sponging technique & card idea. I've made it in my fave colour scheme; coral & gold, for the following challenges - Avery Elle - Die cuts, Addicted to CAS - Celebrate, Less is More - Anything Goes & Simon Says Stamp - Embossing. I forgot to take a pic of the inside of the card but I've stamped Happy Birthday and a little cupcake to go with the sentiment. I hope you like it, I'll hopefully be back with tomorrow with another card.

Supplies;
Stencil - That Special Touch 'Large Polka Dots'
Inks - Distress Inks 'Tattered Rose', 'Dried Marigold' & 'Worn Lipstick'
Sentiment - Avery Elle 'Cake & Candles'
Candle - Papertrey Ink 'Wishes Come True'
Dies - Papertrey Ink 'Fillable Frames #1' & 'Wishes Come True'
Other - gold embossing powder, gems & vellum

Wedding card

Hiya! I hope you had a good weekend! Mondays don't seem quite so bad when they're this sunny, do they? :-)
Over the weekend I had a little play with these Avery Elle stamps, I used a technique Jennifer McGuire (love her!) showed in a video (here) about dabbing the ink off stamps to get 2 tone images. I used it for the flowers then leaves and couldn't seem to stop so I did it on the sentiment too! I chose the colours to tone in with this gorgeous paper.
Its for this weeks Less is More challenge of Flowers, along with Avery Elle's challenge of Botanicals. I also used the current CAS(E) this Sketch. I hope you like it, thanks for looking!

Supplies;
Stamps - Avery Elle 'Thanks a Bunch'
Sentiments - Clearly Besotted 'Love Blossoms'
Paper - Carta Bella 'Hello Again'
Inks - Stampin' Up - 'So Saffron', 'Crisp Cantaloupe', 'Pear Pizzazz' & 'Old Olive'
Other - clear gems & Wink of Stella clear

One layer thank you card

Hi! I've had a go at a one layer card today - they don't come easily for me! But there were a few challenges I could combine so it meant I could concentrate on not bodging up my stamping! I did anyway but never mind! It's a Thank You card for this weeks Less is More One Layer challenge but I used Heathers cards as a starting point on this weeks Papertrey Make It Monday Clustered Stamped Sentiment challenge. I only really had flower stamps but I quite like how that looks. The colours are for this weeks Paper Players challenge and I'm also going to enter into this fortnights Addicted to CAS challenge of Off the Edge - 4 for the price of 1! ;-)
I'm not sure if there's something wrong with my clear embossing powder but after I wiped the ink off, there was loads underneath it so my white sentiment looked a bit muddy. I lined it up and stamped over it again with more VersaMark and embossed it, this time in white, it's given a more raised and glossy effect so a bit of a happy accident! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like it!

Supplies;
Stamps - Papertrey Ink 'Rosie Posie', 'Sweet Life' & 'Sending You'
Sentiment - Papertrey Ink 'Think Big Favourites #5'
Ink - VersaMark 'clear' & Stampin' Up 'Calypso Coral', 'Pear Pizzazz' & 'So Saffron'
Other - white embossing powder

A couple of cards and some news! :-)

Hello! What a gorgeous day! Perfect for sitting inside in my craft room... :-/ Not really, which is why this is such a quick card this morning! It's for this weeks Muse challenge which is this gorgeous baby card by Gillian. I cased the baby theme plus the simple layout with a popped up stitched panel. I've also used this weeks Less is More challenge of 3 colours or 3 of one colour, I've gone for the latter. It's one ink pad but its a Kaleidacolor ink pad of various blues, I just inked my sentiment with 3 of the bands of colour, quite subtle but gives a nice ombré look :-)

Now for my news, the very lovely Liz from Buttons for Brains has asked me to be a design team member for her new shop! She sells gorgeous card making kits using loads of the fave makes, Basic Grey, Hero Arts etc! Very cool!

I've been playing with the Garden Party kit this week, all the links will be in the supplies list below for any of my cards :-) I made it for the Paper Players sketch but as I was making it, the challenge was ending! Oops! But I also made it for this weeks Colour Q challenge and Creative Inspirations which is Spring Flowers. Thanks for looking! Have a lovely weekend!
