Back again!

Yep, me again, 3 days in a row and still more cards to show! Lets see if I can post everyday, although maybe I shouldn't tempt fate while my mojo is here or else it'll run away again! Anyway, I hope you're having a good monday so far! Today's card is a clean and simple one for a couple of challenges. Inspired by this weeks Less is More challenge of One Layer and Inking as I'm a total Copics girl and they do not work on one layer cards! So I needed an idea to get some colour in, I made it by masking off the strip - although not brilliantly so don't look too closely ;-), then blending different Distress Inks. Then stamped the flower twice side by side over the top. Although now I look I realise I've kind of wandered away from the sketch! Hopefully it's still ok! Thanks for looking!
I'm entering into these challenges:
Clean & Simple - this sketch, combined with...
CAS-ual Fridays
Less is More - One Layer & Inking
Cute Card Thursday - Clean & Simple
Supplies-
Image - Hero Arts 'Flower Meadow'
Distress Inks - 'Peeled Paint', 'Shabby Shutters', 'Crushed Olive', 'Stormy Sky' & 'Boken China'

A very CAS card!

Evening all! Just a quickie while I wait for my dinner! Here's a card for this weeks Less is More challenge which is to make a One Layer card featuring either flowers or trees. I really enjoyed making this card as it's so out of my comfort zone! I wanted to add some colour but as I tend to use Copics and they don't look so pretty on the reverse of the card! So I coloured the stamp with my Whisper pens (a bit like Marvy pens) then stamped the image, blended with a water brush then added a bit of Stickles! Speaking of which, Putting on the Glitz is this weeks Papertake challenge!
Thanks for looking!
