Hi again! I'm back, sorry about that! I've made quite a simple card using these gorgeous never-seen-ink stamps, it looks like I'm super organised with this card but actually, I just thought this sentiment suited the flowers! Thanks for looking, I hope you're having a lovely evening!

SWALK Sneak Peek!

Hi everyone, I'm back again! I have a sneak peek to share using one of the 12 new SWALK stamps from Crafters Companion. This is my first play with these stamps and they're really cute! This card is using one of the new images to be released next Tuesday. She's called A Little Bird.

On the stamp plate you have the sentiment plus 3 little birds which I've stamped in the corners. I've used papers from the SWALK CD rom, the image is stamped onto Neenah card and coloured in with Spectrum Noirs all of which are available here.
PLUS, Crafters Companion are running a competition giving away all of the new stamps! If you head over to here there is a simple question to answer and you will be entered. Closing date is 8th May at 9.00am. You have to be logged on to be able to see the question and add your answer so if you are not already a member then please register and the winner could be you! Good luck!

Challenges;
Sweet Stop Sketch - Any sketch (I picked sketch 94, sort of, went off track a little!)

Here's my card, it isn't really Irish, or anything to do with Luck, I just liked these papers and thought Mimi would look good in a little green dress!

Papertake GD week #3: In stitches

Hi again! As promised, here's my third card for my Guest Designer spot on the Papertake challenge. This week it's In Stitches! Use any kind of stitching on your card or project. I've kind of done faux stitching by poking holes all around the edge, then joining up with a blue pen. Simon Says Stamp are sponsoring this weeks challenge with a $25 voucher to their store so I hope you can join in!
What is it with me and baby cards at the moment?! - I'm promise I'm not hinting at anything! But I actually Love this stamp! It's sooo gorgeous! This card is also for a couple of other challenges. This weeks Lili of the Valley sketch and also Cute card Thursday challenge which is Reuse, Renew, Recycle. The buttons are off an old shirt and the ribbon is those stupid hangy things that always stick out the sides of your top! So I snip them off for my cards! Much better use for them! Thanks for popping over and having a look!

Colouring - Copics
Papers - Core'dinations & 'Nana's Nursery - Boy' by DCWV

But you have to play along to be in with a chance!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #16!

Hello my lovelies! It's time for another Truly Scrumptious challenge! This fortnight is a fab sketch by my teamie Heather with the added challenge of using no fewer than 3 stamps! I struggled a little with this challenge (why they call them challenges though huh?!) Some ideas can be stamping your own background/borders, masking your image and making a background or giving a character a friend or accessory! The choice is yours!
The 3 I've used are the new Hero Arts Snowflake Circle background, some little holly corners and of course, the cute little Forever Friends bear! I've embossed the background with a sparkle powder but these things never seem to show in photos! I hope you like it and get a chance to join us!

Stamps - Forever Friends, Hero Arts 'Snowflake Circle' & Elzybells 'Holly'
Colouring - Copics & a white gel pen
Papers - Core'dinations & DCWV old Christmas stack
Ribbon & gems - stash

Anyway, it's time for this weeks Truly Scrumptious challenge and it's a little different today, we'd like to see Anything but a card - the possibilities are endless! Sandra Dry Digi Stamps is offering one lucky entry a choice of 6 of her gorgeous digi stamps! I've made some little Christmas sweetie boxes to hang on the tree, decorated with some little die cuts - I thought it would make a nice (but brief) change from stamping!
