Ok, final Valentine's card!

Morning! I hope everyone enjoyed stuffing their little tummies with pancakes yesterday! I most certainly did! ;-)
As the title suggests, I've finally decided on a Valentine's card for my husband! One was too pink, one was too sparkly, but in 3 bears fashion, this one is just right! :-) Although I'm thinking of doodling an 'I' on the little heart to read 'Valentine I Love You', thoughts?
I hope you like it and thanks for popping by!

Penny Black Saturday February challenge!

Hello! Happy weekend! I'm back again with a card for this months Penny Black Saturday challenge! How is it February already?! Although today it feels like March, very sunny and spring like - god I sound old!! ;-)
This months theme is Love & Marriage, so maybe valentines, maybe an anniversary, maybe just a love note - which brings me nicely onto my card! I used this cute little mouse stamp with some patterned note paper, a note edge punch and these cute sentiments by Kristina Werner - love them! The backing paper is pretty busy so I kept the embellishments down. I hope you like it and can join in with us this month. There's more inspiration from the fab design team over on the blog and details of all the amazing prizes you can win too! Have a great weekend, I hoping to get a few more cards made, I hope you do too! See ya!

Sweet Friend!

Morning! I hope you're all well! I'm back with another little card I made this weekend. It came together by accident really! I was playing around with the Sweet Life stamp and made this rose, then thought I'd cut it out, then realised the yellow was the same as this scrap of paper that was on my desk and the card was born! That's about it really! I hope you like it and thanks for visiting!

Thinking of You!

Hello! This is going to be quite quick as I need to go and scrape the ice off my car, grr! Here's a card I've made for this weeks CASe Sketch, as soon as I saw the little diamond pattern I thought of this flower stamp, I'm not really sure why but I sort of think the 3 flowers and the leaf/stalk make up the shape! Hopefully! I stamped and water-coloured the flowers with Stampin' Up Early Espresso ink, I thought it added to the sepia sort of look. Thanks for looking, have a lovely day!

2 for the price of 1!

Hiya! As the title suggests, I've got 2 cards to show today, not ideal but I made both of these over the weekend then forgot to blog them and the challenges end today! Oops!
Here's the first one for the new challenge Seize the Birthday! I'm still on a mission to use neglected stash and I think I'm doing pretty well! This pad is new but the stamps & dies I've had for yonks and until now, haven't seen the light of day!

Challenges;
Seize the Birthday - this sketch (female week) -->
Top Tip Tuesday - Fur or feathers
Die-ing for a Challenge - Celebration

And here is the second. These double sided sticky florishy things I've had for ages too, and I'm not really sure why I haven't used them! They're meant for flocking, glitter or foil so no excuse really! And I have an alphabet set too - madness! ;-) I took the sketch pretty literally as I thought it was perfect for this flourish! Thanks for stopping in, I hope you like them!

Seasons Greetings!

Hello again! Here's another Christmas card for the pile! It's following this fab sketch and uses one of my fave techniques at the moment - negative die cuts, I love how it tones down and simplifies the glitter paper. I hope you like it, thanks for looking! I'll be back tomorrow with the December Penny Black Challenge!

Happy Hexagons!

Hello! I've just popped in to show you a card I've just made while watching the Wimbledon final! Come on Murray! Anyway, it's made using some of me new Papertrey goodies including the Happy Hexagon die & Stamp set! I love these and was so excited to get these, I hope I can do them justice as the DT samples were amazing! I've used mostly paper scraps apart from the striped hexagon is one of the stamps. I used the tips from Nichole Heady on her blog about how to place the hexagons in the pattern. Thanks for looking, I hope you like it!

Cupcake Guest Designer - Royalty!

Good morning! I hope you had a lovely weekend and are excited about the next one and all the celebrations it will bring!
I'm back with this weeks Cupcake Craft challenge - my last as Guest Designer! :-( Thanks so much to the fab ladies on the team and the lovely Faye for asking me to play along - I've loved it! And this weeks challenge is no exception, it's very fitting for the Jubilee celebrations, the theme is Royalty!
It's my lovely Dads birthday on the Jubilee monday, but it's his 59th!! Nooo!! It would have been so special to have his 60th on the Diamond Jubilee day but never mind, it'll still be brill! I decided to theme his birthday card as it probably won't happen again so I've used these Patriotic papers and some cute postage elements. I'm sure he'll get link! ;-) I hope you like it and can join in this week!

By the way, this little crown is part of the amazing freebie Jubilee kit from Liz @ Pink Petticoat, I printed the little crown onto copier paper, then when I saw where it printed, I stuck a little piece of the cream patterned paper over it and printed it again, so now it looks like a little stamp!

One layer card!!

Morning1 This is a very speedy post as I'm off out in a sec. I'm behind on almost everything this week, I made this on Sunday and this is the first chance I've had to blog it! It;s for this weeks Less is More challenge; One layer and 3 stamps! I rifled through my stash and found this funky text stamp, made a nesties embossed frame around it and coloured in/glittered some of the words then used 2 star stamps, used the large in bright blue and the small one in 2 other blues. Thanks for looking!

Thank Ewe!

Morning! Phew, what a busy blog week I've had! It doesn't know what's hit it! I was so excited though - did you see the A-May-Zing launch last night? My project was on the telly and Nigel said he loved it!! Hee hee! Even Jamie was dead impressed! Worth all the effort! :-)

I'm back again to show you this little cutie! I'm definitely in 'use up old stash' mode so I dug out this cute stamp - again, not sure why it's neglected!! - and these papers too. Added a bit of faux stitching using my old faves, the Whisper pens. Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back in the morning, have a lovely friday!

60th Birthday Card!

Afternoon all! Just popped on to show you the card I've made for my Auntie's 60th Birthday in a few weeks, it's going to be passed around so all the cousins can sign it so I've had to be organised for once! I absolutely adore these papers but have just gazed at them til now! I thought they went quite well with a spare bit of fabric I had left from some trousers I made shorter - I'm only 5'3 so this tends to happen a lot! ;-) So I made a little shabby fabric flower from them, some felt and a brad I had in my stash but can't for the life of me remember where it's from - sorry! Thanks for looking!

Ooh, and incase you didn't see, I've decided to open a little Etsy shop, not sure how much will sell but I'll never know if I don't try - plus I need more room and money for stash! Hee hee! Bye for now!
