It's time for a new challenge at 3flowers-retos de tarjetas, and here is my card:
This is the sketch you have to use to play along with the challenge:
I received an awesome stamp set from Reverse Confetti last month, "Class Act", and I couldn't wait to get it inky, so I saw the perfect opportunity with this sketch.
For the background I used kraft paper with my favorite Woodgrain stamp from Hero Arts, and I colored the edges with an inking tool. Love it!
I hope you join us for the challenge, because there are only a couple left before the summer holidays! So stop by the blog to see the incredible cards from the rest of the girls, and I can't wait to see what you make ;-)
¡Me encanta!
Thanks for stopping by!!!
Gracias por pasarte por aqui!!!

Using the sketch at ABNH... Usando el sketch en ABNH
Hi everyone!
It's my turn over at ABNH today and I shared a couple of cards over there. I have been struggling in the craft room because my inspiration was gone, but I used this month's sketch and Leslie's tips to have fun and actually make some cards that didn't finish in the bin ;-)
Here is a sneak peek of what you can see over there:
Also, you still have time to enter their challenge, so go check it out!
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday Steph!!!!
Today is Steph's birthday, and because it is a little tradition we have going on over at A Blog Named Hero, I made a card for her:
I decided to play around with distress inks and perfect pearls and I had a lot of fun! It's always gonna be one of my favorite techniques. And look at the shine:
I just love it! I followed one of the sketches for this month's contest over at Hero Arts, but I wanted to do something a bit different, so I cut half of the front of the card. That way the "b-day" is "inside" the card, but you see it from the front ;-)
So go over to A Blog Named Hero to see the other cards, and don't forget to stop by Steph's blog and wish her a great day! And as you are already there, check out her cards, they are amazing!
Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Finally used this ribbon!
Hello again!
Challenge #3 at Ellen Hutson was a sketch, and it was the perfect sketch to use some ribbon:
The first time I saw that ribbon from May Arts, I just needed to have it. But once I got it, I never used it cause it was just too pretty! But when I saw the sketch for the challenge, I just had to finally put it on a card.
A very simple card, with that awesome sentiment from Paper Smooches, love them!
I will be back tomorrow for the last of the Ellen Hutson challenges, thanks for stopping by!

Tags!
Hiya! I have been making tags all week like crazy! I saw all these new shapes from Hero Arts on the Silhouette online store, and I thought they would be perfect for tags, so I am warning you, this weekend I will be sharing loooots of them! Here is the first one:
I started by cutting the "web tag" (from HA) without the web, with the silhouette, and I colored the tag using Iced Spruce distress ink. Then I applied some Pumice Stone and Black soot on the edges with an ink applicator.
I placed the tag back in the silhouette, and using a white pen, I sketched the Swirl tree (from HA too). Cut a snowbank out of some white cardstock , glued it on the tag, and stamped the sentiment (cut out form a bigger one from the Find Joy set) using Black Memento Ink. To finish it, I added lots of Aqua Blue rhinestones, some Diamond Stickles and white ribbon.
I'm entering this month's contest at Hero Arts
and this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog with this tag.
Hope you liked it and thanks for stopping by! I'll be back with more tags soon, very soon!! ;)
