Otra vez Navidad... Christmas again

Holaaa!
Como cada día 25 de cada mes, hoy os traigo una nueva tarjeta navideña que no creo que hayáis visto. La creé estas pasadas navidades para uno de los retos de Facebook de Todo con Papel, pero no la había compartido en ningún otro sitio, así que a ver si os gusta!

Hey!
Like every 25th of every month, I'm here with another Christmas card that I don't think you've seen. I created it for a Facebook challenge by Todo con Papel, but I don't think I shared it anywhere else, so I hope you like ti!

Por si no lo sabéis, Todo con Papel tiene diferentes retos cada semana los últimos meses del año. Están super bien y aunque mi intención era la de participar en todos ellos... como siempre, no me dio tiempo y al final solo participé en dos. 
Pero bueno, la verdad es que esta tarjeta me encanta como quedó, con la dimensión de la estrella, y esa combinación de colores que aunque no es nada navideña, a mi me chifla ;-)

Just in case you don't know this, Todo con Papel has some challenges every week the last couple of months of the year. They are great and my intention was to play along with all of them, but I just run out of time and only did a couple.
I love how this card turned out, with the dimension from the star, and that color combo that's not Christmassy, but it's one of my faves :-)

Para crear esa estrella, la estampé y corté a mano tres veces. Después doble cada una por la mitad y las pegue para crear ese efecto 3D. Es algo muy fácil de crear con sellos o troqueles que sean simétricos, y le dan un toque diferente a las tarjetas.

Y esto es todo lo que os traigo hoy, así que nos vemos de nuevo el mes que viene con otra tarjeta navideña!!! Pasad buena semana!!! Besitosss!

To create the star, I stamped it and fussy cut it three times. Then I scored them through the middle and glued them together to create the 3D effect. It's a simple thing to do with your simetrical stamps or dies and it looks great in your cards.

CAS en Julio... CAS in July

Hoy comienza el nuevo reto de La Pareja Creativa y este mes toca quedarse con el estilo Clean & Simple, asi que esta es la tarjeta que he hecho:

Today it's the beginning of the new challenge at La Pareja Creativa and this month we ask for Clean & Simple projects, so this is the card I made:

La verdad es que la idea que tenia en la cabeza era mucho más sencilla, pero esto es lo que salió al final. Ahora que la miro, me da la sensación de una tarjeta algo navideña, o por lo menos invernal, pero no era mi intención en absoluto. Quería imitar un cielo estrellado, pero me parece que me ha quedado más nevado jeje

The truth is the idea that I had in my head was much simpler, but this was the end result. Now that I look at it, I feel like it's a bit Christmassy or wintery, but that was not my intention at all. I wanted to make a starry sky, but I ended up with more of a snowy look LOL!

La casita y demás, los troquele solamente parcialmente, para que quedaran unidas al panel blanco. El fondo lo coloreé con tintas distress y levanté algo de color con un poco de agua.
Añadí la puerta, la ventana y el corazoncito, y estampé el mensaje.
La verdad es que fue una tarjeta muy rapidita de hacer... aunque a lo mejor no lo parezca.

The little house and all the other things are only partially die cut, so they are still part of the white panel. The background was colored with distress inks and I lifted some of the color with water. I added the window, a doos and a little heart, and I stamped the message. It was a fast card to make... but it might not look like it.

Hoy saltamos de nuevo... Today we are hopping again

Hoy vuelvo a utilizar el kit de Junio de SSS con mis compis, asi que toca saltar!!! La semana pasada me quedé sin participar, asi que tenia ganas de jugar con el kit, además porque esta idea me rondaba la cabeza y he quedado muy contenta con el resultado:

Today I'm back using de June card kit from SSS with my friends, so it's time for a blog hop!!! Last week I couldn't play along, so I was looking forward to this week, cause I had this idea in my head, and I love how it turned out:

Como en la primera tarjeta me lo pasé pipa con el color y las acuarelas, esta vez queria que la tarjeta fuera solo en blanco y negro. Asi que he utilizado los papeles del kit, y los sellos, con tinta negra y la Barely Beige que tambien viene en el kit. Corté la base algo más estrecha de lo habitual, para así poder colocar las flores y hojas colgando de un lateral

In the first card I made with the kit, I went a bit crazy with color and the watercolors, but this time I wanted the card to be only black and white. So I used the papers from the kit, and the stamps, with black ink and the Barely Beige ink from the kit. I cut the front of the card to be smaller, so the flowers could hang over the side

No se aprecia muy bien en las fotos, pero el mensaje lo estampé primero con la tinta beige, y despues, moviendolo un poco lo estampé en negro para crear una especie de sombra

You can't see it very well in the photos, but I stamped the message with the beige ink first, then moved it slightly and stamped with the black ink to create a bit of a shadow

Y despues pues a darle mucha dimension a todo, para que tuviera muuuuchas capas. Me quedo con ganas de utilizar mas este kit, asi que lo sacaré a pasear de vez en cuando porque ha sido uno de mis favoritos.
Ahora ya sabeis lo que os toca, a pasaros por los blogs de mis compis que seguro que os van a enseñar cositas preciosas :-)

And after that, just give everything lots of dimension, with many layers. I really want to use this kit more, cause it's been one of my favorites, so you'll probably see me use it a lot more.
Now you know what you have to do, time to hop and see what amazing stuff my friends made with this kit :-)
