Det snør, det snør - tiddelibom......

Believe it or not, but this is Bergen in the beginning of April, not what we are used to at all....

It has been like this the last few days, but they promise sun and warmer weather next week. Cross my fingers!!
But on the positive side, I get to spend more time sewing and knitting!

I have got a new companion in my sewing room, or at least for a while :o)

A Bernina 710

Its a dream, with everything you could wish for. It is new in the shop and I need to learn how to operate it, all the small, handy tricks :o) So I will be able to demomstrate it properly. And so far, I can just say - WOW, I want this !!!!

I used it to finish the owl-runner I have been working with. Its inspired by a pattern from AnnAKa, making the owls with the Curvy-ruler.

Love the owls, so many expressions on their 'face' :o)

Also the tunic has been finished. It turned out a bit bigger than I expected, but that just means she can use it longer :o) First as a dress, then tunic and at last a vest.

Wishing you a sunny week!

A happy Easter :o)

This must be the most sunny Easter ever (and the weeks before)! Hard to find time for sewing.... A couple of days ago we had a wonderful trip to Ålesund, to look at a sailing boat :o)

In the car, on the road, I knitted. A beautiful tunic, in one of my new favourite yarn, milk fiber from Viking Garn. Its so soft and easy to knit with. The pattern for the tunic is found in a danish book called 'Babystrik på pinde nr 3'.

I have also made some owls, which is eventually going to be a tablerunner.

Look at these beautiful pictures from Easter in Western Norway

Hope you all have a great Easter!
