GBBD - September 2017

September have been very good so far! Good weather. Balance between sunny and rainy days! I don't complain much on the heavy downpour as it's really required to rejuvenate the garden and wild plants!

The water bill has gone up past 2 months so I decided to do fortnight watering to big trees! So this rain is really good for the plants and my water bill! ;)

The yellow hibiscus have started flowering after heavy trimming! Together with the white flower! I don't know the name!

Marigolds are putting out the yellow flowers too! As of now single flower is decorating the patch!

The red hibiscus bounce back from heavy trimming! A single show at the moment. However many flower buds around!

The new patch I created for the Balsam and Marigold!  How colourful are Balsam! I really love this plant since childhood time!

The single rose plant with 4 roses! I'm late to find them. The flowers are 2 days old I guess.....

Gerbera with single red flower!

Mussaenda have put up a lot of yellow flowers too! They are so lovely!

Finally the Costus with ever flowering red stalks! They decorate my pathway beautifully even though no scent from it!

My garden colour theme for September month shall be be yellow, white and Red! Beautiful combination. What's flowering in your garden?

This shall be for GBBD September 2017. For more flowers around the world feel free to visit Maydreamflowers at  http://www.maydreamsgardens.com/

  1. Yellow red and orange are the predominant colours in our garden at the moment too.

  2. I too enjoyed Balsam as a child. We called it "Touch-Me-Not" because the seed pods would burst open when touched. I have a few growing now and they drop seeds and grow in different areas of the garden every year.
    Thanks for sharing on GBBD.
