Well, I made the resolution to set aside 15 minutes a day for organizing my photos. So far so good! My ultimate goal is to have all pics from 2003-2009 backed up, tagged, printed, and in an album. Having two days off work due to snow I was able to finally get most of my 2009 pics in an album. It was exhausting and I decided if I don't want to give up like I've done in the past it is best to continue working in small chunks! Fifteen minutes a day is doable! Well, while I had my pics laying out around me I finally gave up on the organizing and decided to scrap. One of the layouts I did this weekend was inspired by Janna Wilson. She is hosting a 52 week Stress Free Scrapbooking Event on her blog this year. So I grabbed this pic I took of Rick and Rhonda on their birthday last month and got it scrapped! Much more rewarding than sorting pics all day!

A New Year
2009 was filled with many great memories. We celebrated Papaw's 95th birthday, spent a great week with family in Florida, and Rick and I celebrated our 10th anniversary! I'm looking forward to another great year in 2010! Well, of course a new year means resolutions and I'm one of those that always makes them but rarely keeps them! I'm a dreamer! This year I've decided to go simple. Sure I'd love to lose some weight, save some money, get better organized, etc. and I will work towards these goals as well but I am not quite ready to committ to them fully right now and declare them my resolution. So what will I be doing in 2010? This year's resolution is to set aside 15 minutes each day for cleaning and organization. Did I really say that? I guess Rick is truly rubbing off on me! Here's to a new year!
