Morning everyone, I hope your Christmas preparations are going well. For 25 years our Christmas tree, decorations and cards haven't gone up until after Oli's birthday on 17th. However, as he lives in his own place these days Harry and I decided that Saturday (14th) was the day to get our house into the Christmas spirit. When Oli called by on Sunday the first thing he said was " you can't put the tree up 'till after my Birthday' ! I had to smile.  Anyway were all in the Christmas mood here and I'm really excited to be sharing a new Joy to the World boxed album with you today.  The featured album has been made in our laser cut Box It kit and altered in papers from the Joy to the World paper collection by Graphic 45.  There are four interactive pages inside this fun album, all with interactive elements, pull outs, pockets and pull out photo holders, giving lots of room for your favourite photos and ephemera from the festive season.  I love the layered...

Morning everyone, I've been busy creating the samples for the project options we'll be making at my Crafters Weekend Retreat next month. Today I'm sharing the the  Lantern Kit  and  Large Box with Aperture Kit  altered here as an alternative Christmas Advent Box. Both projects have been altered in papers from the Joy to the World collection by Graphic 45.     The lantern kit, cut from 2.25micron grey board comes in four flat packed A3 sheets, and when assembled stands at approx 20" tall.   It's such a versatile kit that can be altered to suit any occasion.  I used three traditional Christmas coloured papers from the Joy to the World collection and gave the lantern a festive make-over, added acetate behind the double arched centre section which can hold three battery operated tea lights for a really bright shine, or just one as shown, for a warm twinkle. Hi Everyone, with October flying by and the Christmas countdown fast approaching it's time to start thinking about Christmas crafting (if you haven't already!). If like me you love the countdown to Christmas our triptych style Advent Calendar kit is  perfect to make as a keepsake for a loved one or maybe for yourself to look forward to seeing as each countdown to Christmas comes around.  Made from 3mm MDF, the kit comes flat packed and when assembled  with the three sections joined together measures 13 1/2" wide, 4 1/2" deep and 9 tall.  The The large centre shadow box section is 2" deep, a great space to create a dimensional scene that can be framed with the oval insert that comes with the kit. Small wooden numbers 1 - 25 are also included. Acetate sleeves keep all the little boxes in their place when the calendar is packed away. Hi everyone, if you love teeny weeny projects that don't take too long to make this one might be for you.  Our greyboard laser cut ATC Box comes as a flat packed set, and measures 6" x 4" x 2 1/2" when made up. Here's a few pictures of the finished sample.  On its own, this cute little box is perfect for holding a whole range of things from 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" ATC cards (if you're a collector or swapper), an ATC sized banner for a special event, a box of tags or small cards to give as a gift, travel sized lotions and potions, a pair of socks or two, or maybe you're looking for a class project.   I used the Joy to the World papers to turn my decorated sample into a Christmas gift and then designed an easy to make ATC Album to fit inside it. Hi everyone, Happy Friday to you.  It looks like we're in for a hot and sunny weekend here in the UK (finally), and here I am talking about Christmas lol!!  The Joy to the World collection by Graphic 45 arrived this week and is now in stock on the website so I thought I'd alter our Flip Front Case and Album set in products from the range to share with you so you can see the variety of colour-ways threaded through the gorgeous papers and embellishments. The kit comes flat packed with an assembly guide, and includes the album covers and spine too.  Measuring just over 6 1/4" wide x 3" deep when assembled it's a perfect project to alter in 8 x 8 and 12 x 12 papers and makes a great starter project if you're new to crafting too.
