Beach in The Afternoon

After church on Sunday while Mom and Dad Busby were here we went to the beach to enjoy the sunshine. Ellen had her Monga's help in building a sand castle, and we looked at the tide pools. It was a beautiful and relaxing way to spend the afternoon. Ellen LOVES the sand and she is always more interested in building sandcastles and looking for pretty shells than she is in actually playing in the water. (Not that she doesn't do her share of playing in the water)

Poor Talmage was looking at a tide pool and fell in! He was completely soaked so we had to take off his clothes and put on his little sweater.

Monga was a good sport and helped Ellen to build a sand castle.

I was able to look at the tide pools and we found some sea stars and lots of anemones, and crabs.

Here's our little man after he fell in. He was so happy to have his clothes off!
