Thank you Jenn and team from Wicked Wednesday ATCs for picking me in your top 3 last week. Such an honour.
I have looked forward to this week's challenge so much (to see a list of upcoming themes, pop over to WW blog for details). I wanted to do something different this time so I've made a 3D card. It was such fun:
The fairies/nymphs are made from shrink plastic -
I used a hot glue gun for an immediate result -
The mushrooms were stamped on card and coloured with Distress Markers -
The 'trees' were cut from Alterations strip dies and a Martha Stewart punch -
The forest floor is sea moss, the flowers are Prima and there is some stickles and glitter mixed in too -
This will have to go on my little craft shelf now as there is no way it will fit in an ATC pocket, LOL.

ONLY 3 MORE WOYWW BEFORE...........
Can you believe that? The worse bit for me is, after today there is Tim's 12 tags of Christmas - which means NOTHING gets done for the next 12 days other than making tags - then I only have 6 days in which to sort everything for the BIG day as we go away on the 19th.
I am madly finalising pressies, wrapping, shopping, cards, etc. etc. But, I still hope to pop around to a few of yours, thanks to our leader Julia, having already sorted all that yonks ago. Being a crafty, nosey person, woyww still tops my list.
I have 2 craft areas on the go just now -
Like many, I am now working on the dining table. The best bit about this photo is my orange-handle scissors. They are Wilkinson Sword - now Fiskars - and must be over 45yrs old now.
My usual little work area has my new pink ATG on it plus some Xmas stocking fillers for crafty pals. Can anyone tell me how you protect the tape in the ATG from getting covered in fluff etc??
Then I had to re-organise my Alterations shelf and claim the one above too because I ended up with some of them falling off!!! not good when sat below the trajectory path.
Must fly, today being the last day before the start of 12 days of amazement. I have a lot of sewing to do. Catch you later.

TIM'S 12 TAGS OF CHRISTMAS 2010 - #11
I wonder how many of us thought to make foam stamps from Tim's Alterations dies. I certainly didn't. It makes spending all that money on them worth while twice over.
This tag wasn't hard, just a bit fiddly, mainly for me because I don't have any ornate plates so had to make something up from the charms I had.
First of all though, I made the snowflake foam stamp. I have several sheets of funky foam, bought years and years ago when I first started crafting. I've almost given it away umpteen times. How glad am I now that I didn't. I really liked the way Tim used this stamp and I reckon it's a technique I shall use many times more.
Again, luckily I have the pine tree die so the tag was easy. I followed all Tim's instructions and tried really hard to cut the snowy tree at the same parts too. Not difficult but a bit tricky to see some of the edges through the home made glittery flower soft.
I stuck the 2 metal corners onto the 2 titchy square frames using multi matt medium. Normally I would have used glossy accents, but after Tim saying that he always uses the medium for metal, I did the same. It's really stuck so that's another fab tip.
Another enjoyable crafting session.
Just off to link this to both Artyjen and the Artistic Stamper blogs.

ONLY ONE MORE TO MAKE
I've made another chunky book page - yippeee!! - so now I'm on with the last one.
To quote Heather 'please feel free to use lots of embellishments/textures/fibres on the front of your pages', so I have! Just hope these books close.
Anyway, here is 'heart and soul'. Nothing like it was going to be.
Note Tim's gorgeous swirl page edge die, it's amazing. The best bit is, when you have cut the page edge, you end up with a gorgeous border from the bit you cut off. I distressed the whole page with various inks and edged all around with a gold pen. The swirls are embossed in gold. I made 2 grunge flowers, always tricky especially the tiny one, and the frame has a stamped heart under the embossing which is from one of Tim's ATC stamps. A bit of wire and beads, a few embellishments and job done.

ANOTHER DONE, 2 MORE TO GO
Another of the chunky book pages that is. I've taken ages on this one because it proved quite tricky. Heather said we could interpret the themes any way we wanted, following Tim's lead of course, so I used his gorgeous white rabbit stamp and turned him into the one from Alice in Wonderland. This theme is 'the timekeeper'.
I'm showing off one of my new edge dies from Tim's alteration range, it's fabulous but wait for the next one!
The base is mount board, which the die just laughed at because it cut through so easily, whereas the top layer is card. I used Tim's clock mask together with 2 peeloffs as masks and distressed both layers. I really wanted to do a pink and green page and this theme fitted those colours well. I then stamped the flourish before removing the masks. A quick squirt of ink and perfect pearls and the bases were done.
I stamped the rabbit 3 times and used silicone to 3D the bits together. I gave him a green stickles scarf, pink stickles inside his ear and rock candy distress stickles on his coat. I couldn't find my pompoms anywhere, so he has a cotton bud tail! A couple of black sticky gems for his eye and nose, and he was done. I stamped the watch onto shrink plastic and when 'shrunk' added glossy accents to give the appearance of a glass face.
I used my computer to print the 'I'm late, I'm late' saying onto printable acetate, which I edged with a glue pen and some ultra fine glitter. The chain was taken from a clothing label attached to some clothing my precious grandson got for his birthday. Thanks for that sweetheart.
I ran round all the edges with Victorian Velvet distress ink after having completed the back - no pic of that though!
Thoughts are in my mind for the next one which I will 'play' with over the next few days.

ALTERATIONS
I just knew 2010 was going to be exciting.
Check out Tim Holtz's latest blog where he describes his new range - ALTERATIONS. This is the name of his range of dies which he has designed for Sizzix.
I for one cannot wait, especially for the scrolls and flourishes, which will be an amazing addition to the crafting booty. To be able to cut those intricate designs from grungeboard and papers ourselves will add such a lot to cards and scrap pages. I love flourishes of all kinds, stamps, rub ons, peel offs etc. so a die is a must for me.
I made this page a couple of months ago. The flourish is from a grungeboard set and shows the type which can be achieved with the new dies. I am about to make the facing page and now won't bother about using my last grunge flourish - not that Toby isn't worth it anyway!
