O power-trio Retribution Gospel Choir, que lançou seu segundo álbum, 2 (capa acima), via Sub Pop, no início de 2010 e na época liberaram o primeiro single, “Hide It Away”, está agora liberando o segundo single, “Workin' Hard”.
Retribution Gospel Choir é um rock trio formado em 2007 que conta com Alan Sparhawk (guitar, vocals), Steve Garrington (bass) e Eric Pollard (drums, vocals). Alan também está à frente da banda Low com sua esposa, Mimi Parker, e Steve também toca baixo na Low. O trio está lançando seu segundo álbum, 2, debutando na Sub Pop. A primeira faixa liberada é justamente a que abre o disco, “Hide It Away”. ROCK, meu amigo, ROCK.

Retribution Gospel Choir is a rock trio founded in 2007. The group features Alan Sparhawk on guitar and vocals, Steve Garrington on bass and Eric Pollard on drums and vocals. Alan also fronts the band Low with his wife, Mimi Parker, and Steve also plays bass in Low. 2 is Retribution Gospel Choir’s 2nd full-length and Sub Pop debut! Eric Swanson recorded these performances at Sacred Heart Studio in Duluth, Minnesota, and Matt Beckley mixed the recordings at Faux Rock in Sherman Oaks, California.
