Nancy é uma banda de Brasília formada por Camila Zamith, Praxis, Dreaduardo, Munha, Fernando Lanches e Ivan Bicudo. A banda pratica um indie rock para lá de classudo, tem uma vocalista que faz arrepiar e suas letras versam belamente tanto em português quanto em inglês.
Sua turnê estadosunidense passou por Nova York, Washington, Philadelphia, Baltimore, e pelo festival texano South by Southwest. Agradaram tanto por lá que USA Today, Wire, MTV-USA não deixaram dúvidas disso. Outros que se derreteram pela banda foram Wired, The Guardian e BBC que ouviram, gostaram e publicaram comentários elogiosos à banda.

Nancy is not the woman in the picture above. It is a five-piece band hailing from Brazil, which may or may not be 2008's Camden Town.
But that doesn't matter, especially if you look at how their upcoming album, Chora, Matisse!, was born. The band's first full-length is the work of exchanged e-mails, late night AIM action, swapping Garage Band vocals, guitar parts, and a couple of transatlantic flights. While Camila (the woman in the picture) carried her laptop from Uruguay to London, Praxis wore flip-flops to work almost everyday in Rio de Janeiro. Months later, they regrouped for two weeks of staying-up-all-night recording sessions in Brasília, Brazil's modernist capital.
After this, quitting their day jobs was pretty easy.
