Beirut - Elephant Gun [MP3]

Zach Condon e seu Beirut está para lançar um novo EP no início do ano que vem. Enquanto isso, por aqui, recebi por esses dias pelo menos cinco e-mails me perguntando sobre o tema de abertura da nova mini-série da Globo, 'Capitu', adaptação do romance "Dom Casmurro" de Machado de Assis.

Pois bem, a canção chama-se "Elephant Gun", da banda americana Beirut, capitaneada pelo prodígio Zach Condon. A Beirut já lançou dois álbuns, Gulag Orkestar em 2006 e The Flying Club Cup em 2007. Acontece que entre um e outro, eles lançaram o EP Lon Gisland em 2007, que abre justamente com "Elephant Gun", aliás, uma belíssima canção.
