A few days ago Jimmy and I visited Canberra, our national capital.
One of the reason: FLORIADE with the tulips in full bloom!,
and to visit our cousins Judy and Wayne.
They live in a beautiful house with the most incredible garden, all so well kept.
Going through health problems and so devoted to each other. I admire them very much.

Unos dias atras fuimos Jimmy y yo a visitar Canberra, nuestra capital.
Una de las razones: FLORIADE con los tulipanes en plena floracion!,
y tambien para visitar a nuestros primos Judy y Wayne.
Ellos viven en una hermosa casa con un jardin increible, todo tan bien cuidado.
Pasando por problemas de salud pero tan dedicados uno al otro. Los admiro mucho.
Another big event: The Tall Ships Regatta from Sydney to Auckland.
20 of them, departed Thursday 10th and are provably arriving soon.
The last I heard the Dutch boat "Europa" is leading.
Then they will continue to the Falkland Island and then Buenos Aires, South Africa and so on..
so romantic !!!

Otro gran evento: La Regata de Grandes barcos veleros desde Sydney a Auckland.
Eran 20 y partieron el jueves 10 y ya estarian cerca de la meta. Lo ultimo que escuche es que
el velero holandes "Europa" esta a la cabeza.
Despues continuaran hacia las Islas Malvinas y despues a Buenos Aires, Sud Africa etc..
que romantico!
Yesterday we had lunch with friends at home. Lamb Roast and veggies. Simple food but great company.
