Grandparents Day, New Outlook Christmas Dinner and my summer quilt

We've been busy!, lots of going out!
Everyday to hospital, but Olga is not getting better-in fact she is getting worse. And all of us very worry. Please dont' stop praying for her!
We also had Grandparents Day at Mitchell's School. Our grandson was very proud to show us all his work of the year.

Anduvimos muy ocupados!, muchas salidas!
Cada dia al Hospital, Pero Olga no mejora- al contrario ha empeorado. Y todos andamos muy preocupados. Por favor no paren de rezar por ella!
Tambien tuvimos el Dia de los Abuelos en la Escuela de Mitchell. Nuestro nieto nos mostro orgullosamente todos sus trabajos de este anio.

Then there was a Show where every kid was an artist, and every grandpa and grandma was with a big smile of satisfaction.

Luego hubo un Show donde cada chico fue un artista y cada abuelo y abuela estaba con una gran sonrisa de satisfaccion.

For the reverse I used an old single sheet still in good condition.

I added some pink cotton at the sides.

Estoy terminando muchos regalos de Navidad. Los mostrare la proxima vez.

Visitas de Hospital, Crochet, arreglos varios, costuritas, visitas, tejido.....

Antes que nada, gracias por todas vuestras oraciones por mi amiga Olga.

Desde ayer hay cambios muy buenos.,reacciona bien cuando le hablamos- nos reconoce y comprende todo.

De ahora en adelante sera un cada dia mejor,A DIOS GRACIAS!

Cuando tengo preocupaciones, elijo distracciones como algun arreglo en la casa-me sirve de catarsis.

Mi dormitorio estaba pidiendo su "primavera", asi que me puse a unir los grannys de algodon.

Ahora son 2 almohadones cuadrados para usarlos cuando vemos la Tv en cama, en el sofa sigue el mas pequeno que hice hace unas pocas semanas.

Los almohadones bien de cerca

El pequenito y tambien se ve la cobertura de la mesa de noche

Tambien agregue unas coverturas a los demas muebles, asi quedan mas protejidos.

Debajo de la Tv Jimmy guarda algunos zapatos, especialmente sus sandalias de verano.

Aqui nuestros amigos japoneses, Chizuko y Yutaka- disfrutamos mucho de su compania!

Este hermoso mantelito me regalo Chizuko....por ahora lo coloque sobre otro color crudo.

Aqui el inicio de un patchwork para un quilt de verano

El dressing gown de Jimmy sigue creciendo....

Before anything I want to explain about those knitting classes, I am not pay in $$$$ for them. They are voluntary, just to help an organization for people recovering of mental illness"The New Outlook" There are lots of ladies who suffer depression and other conditions, they respond very well to knitting. So I feel great to be able to help them.

Antes que nada quiero explicar acerca de esas lecciones de tejido, no soy pagada en $$$$ por ellas. Son voluntarias, solo para ayudar a una organizacion para gente recobrandose de enfermedades mentales "La Nueva Perspectiva". Hay muchas damas que sufren de depresion o otras condiciones, responden muy bien al tejido.
Asi que me siento muy feliz de poder ayudarlas.

Chop chichen, onions, garlic, jalapenos, carrots, basil, parsley etc. Peas, spices, etc

and this is going to be a vest....is a very fine wool-the one for socks- so it takes an eternity, but I love the pretty pictures that comes as I knit.

Some of Jimmy's old troussers needed knee patches so he could continue wearing

them around the house.

Some repairs and tidy up in our winter comforters, ready to cuddle up in those

cold winter nights.

Is a very fine merino wool, so a lot of stitches-around the yoke was 366 S.

 It took a bit less than 300gr.of yarn

Is very light, just the way I prefer.

A few kitchen cloth - algunos trapos de cocina

A had a few pretty dishcloth, cotton and linen.Some big rectangular ones, some squares. Most were gifts from Jessi, and some I bought some time ago. They all need a pretty crochet edging.
That' s what I was doing the last few days.
