Hello to all my crafty friends!

I had been busy knitting this white and navy cotton top, ideal for this weather- sort of warm but not too hot.

My new cotton top, Jimmy' s veggies, forgotten jobs and more - Mi nuevo top de algodon, produccion de Jimmy, labores olvidadas y mas

This is my Dafodil cotton top I just finished. I gave it a final touch with a crochet edging, hope the hot weather comes faster to wear it.

Este es mi top de algodon color Dafofil que acabo de terminar.
Le di un toque final con una puntillita de crochet, espero que el calor venga mas rapido para usarlo.



While doing a big tidy up to my craft room I found so many unfinished things that remind me of Mercedes and her great "Forgotten Jobs".
Here some of them waiting ....and I swear I will finish them one day!

Easy as 1- 2- 3! - Lo hice en un pim- pam- pum!

I had a huge amount of fabrics in my cupboards, lots of them! When I spent time with my sister Susy last year, we went shopping in a big way. She knew of so many places where fabrics cost so litle, near nothing. I mentioned already she is the QUEEN OF SHOPPING, haha
But for some reason I lost interest in sewing-actually I know the real reason: Knitting near all the time, and hardly any time for anything else.
These days I need some new pijamas and perhaps some slacks as well, and I had this gift voucher of 100 $ for David Jones from my son John in my last birthday, so I went shopping. I got a shock!-for 30$ you only get some ugly franellete pijamas and for 20 $ very cheap fleecy trackpants. Pijamas that I like a bit were at 80$ or more puajjjj
Since I have all these nice fabrics at home I decided to buy only 3 good bras and came home decided to get some sewing done!

Tenia una enorme cantidad de telas en mis armarios, un monton!. Cuando estuve con mi hermana Susy el anio pasado, ibamos de compras en gran escala. Ella conocia tantos lugares de ofertas donde las telas costaban muy poco, casi nada. Ya mencione antes que ella es la REINA DEL SHOPPING, jaja
Pero por alguna razon perdi interes en coser-la verdad que se cual es la razon: tejer casi todo el tiempo no deja mucho para otras cosas.
Estos dias estuve necesitando algo de pijamas y tal vez algunos pantalones tambien, y tenia este voucher de 100$ en David Jones regalo de mi hijo John en mi ultimo cumpleanios, asi que me fui de compras. Tuve el shock de mi vida!- por 30$ solo puedes conseguir pijamas de franela horribles y por 20$ solo trackpants ordinarios. Los pijamas que me gustaban un poco estaban por 80$ o mas puajjjj
Y como tenia todas estas telas en casa decidi solo comprarme 3 nuevos bras y me vine a casa lista para coser!

A pair of jamis and 2 slacks in less than 3 hours!

Un par de pijamas y 2 pantalones en menos de 3 horas!

Simple casual wearing, all machine work and some overlocking.

Easier than that: IMPOSSIBLE
