Merry Christmas, a table quilt , a wool cardigan

I love Christmas! I love "almost everything" about it. Parties with friends, sending and receiving Cards or emails, gift preparations, home decorations, prepare food and family and friends get together specially But one think I dislike about Christmas is to have to go to the Shops. I adore the way they decorate all and the music , the fun etc. BUT I HATE THE PARANOIA of the last few days when everybody seems to go crazy buying anything. Just wondering if they remember we are celebrating the Birth of Jesus?and having nice time with family and friends, no ransacking the Shops abusing Credit cards to impress others. Well, I said it.

Amo la Navidad! Amo "casi todo" de la Navidad. Fiestas con amigos, enviar y recibir Tarjetas o emails, preparacion de los regalos, decorar la casa, preparer las comidas y pasar con la familia y amigos especialmente.
Pero una cosa que no me gusta para nada de la Navidad es tener que ir a los comercios. Adoro como los decoran y la musica, las diversions etc. PERO ODIO LA PARANOIA de los ultimos dias cuando todos parecen enloquecidos comprando cualquier cosa. Sera que recuerdan que estamos celebrando el Nacimiento de Jesus? y pasando gratamente con los amigos y la familia, no saqueando comercios abusando de las Tarjetas de Credito para impresionar a otros. Bien, lo dije.

Spring, Cotton cardigan plus instructions, Bags and Cushion

SPRING! BEAUTIFUL SPRING! Flowers everywhere. Jimmy' s Proteas are in full bloom and so many he didn't  mind to give me some to bring indoors.

PRIMAVERA! HERMOSA PRIMAVERA!  Flores por todas partes. Las Proteas de Jimmy estan en pleno y tantas que esta vez no escatimo en darme algunas para el interior.

 

 

 

My white cotton cardigan is finished. Perfect for this time of the year.

I wrote this instructions for friends who want to knit one similar.

Circular needles number 3.5 and the yarn was a 4 ply.

10cms=23 stitches

Start from the neck, is recommended thinner  needles there.

After the initial rib increase this way: - 1k, 1 increase in the next- repeat.

Then repeat the same way every 5 to 6 cm, according to the size of shoulders.

Three times for regular sizes, one more time for larger figures. 

I am 90cm bust, so for me this instructions are correct.

Anote estas instrucciones para las amigas que quieren tejer uno similar.

Ajujas circulares No 3.5 y el hilado de 4 plys. 10 cm= 23 puntos.

Empezar del cuello, se recomienda agujas mas delgadas en esa parte.

Despues del ribete inicial del cuello, aum.asi: _1 punto der., un aumento en el proximo-repetir.

Luego repetir de la misma forma cada 5 o 6 cm, de acuerdo al tamaño de los hombros.

Tres veces para talles regulares, una vez mas para talles mas grandes.

Mi medida de Busto es de 90cm, asi que para mi esta instruccion es correcta.

Mine on the 12th, was also Mother's Day. Mitch on the 13th and my other son Henry on the 16th.

We had a nice get together to celebrate the lot.

Aqui todos los regalos listos. Mayo fue un mes de cumpleaños para algunos en mi familia.

El mio fue el 12, tambien ese dia fue el Dia de las Madres. El de Mitch fue el 13 y el de mi otro hijo Henry fue el 16. Tuvimos una linda reunion para celebrar todo.

 

I recieved so many flowers, gifts, visits, mails etc!

Chrysanthemums from Jimmy's plants. For him is a big sacrifice- he prefers the

flowers on the plants he always says. But this time been Mothers Days and been the flowers of

the Mothers, I was lucky!
