Be Afraid...

...be very afraid!

It is Sunday Morning and I've been tagged by the lovely (???)Julie (cheeky, more like).

The task to perform is to take a pic of yourself and post it on your blog - it has to be right now, no primping, grooming or general tittivating...just as you are at this very moment.

Oh well, if you are all ready (I suggest you keep children and folk of a delicate disposition away from the screen)...here we go...

This is me in Sunday Morning mode LOL - see Julie, this is what you have unleashed upon blogland CTM

Now I need to think of three folk I can share this favour with...

Caroline
Chrissy
Helen

Sorry folks...but you know this has to be done (he he he).............

Six of Six, yep...

...I've been tagged.

By Sarah (smelly on UKS) - please see the link to her blog over on the right :o)

You have to post the 6th photo from the 6th folder in your photos folder. Then nominate 5 people and leave links in the comments. So here goes.

The sixth folder is called Coffee (now that's original LOL) and guess what the sixth piccie was...

I have to admit, I am a bit of a coffee junkie c",)

After having a flit around the blogs I visit, most of the folk I would have liked to send this to have already received it so instead - if you happen to be visiting here and would like a little challenge, please find the "6th of 6th" and if you post it in you blog let me know as I'd like to come visit and see what you found in your piccie files...............

I've been tagged...

...by Ruthy.

The rules as I understand them are...I answer the questions below and tag 5/6 folk by visiting their blogs and inviting them to visit my blog so they can see what needs to be done LOL

Here we go...

Ten Years ago: I was working for the same employer but actually doing a job that I enjoyed. My niece started to need to use a wheelchair. We were approaching the first anniversary of losing my Dad.

Five things in today's "to do" list:
1) Get a loaf.
2) Get some petrol.
3) Print off some photos for scrapping.
4) Do some washing.
5) Put the bins out.

Snacks I enjoy: Vegetable crisps, Hoola-Hoops, Mars bar, Carrots, Marmite toast.

Things I would do if I was a millionaire: Have the most wonderful fully fitted out scrap room, buy all the scrapping gadgets that I want, travel to all the places I've wanted to visit, make sure family and friends are alright.

Places I have lived: East London, Dagenham, South Ockendon, Stanford-le-Hope.

Now to tag some folk - Annette, Nicola, Caroline, Sharon, Helen.

I've been...

...TAGGED

Okay, this is where the fun begins as I'm not very good at 'linky' things but I will try to put into practice what I have been shown over on UKScrappers (not that it will work, lol).

So, I've been tagged by Mary B a lovely lady from UKS.

Here are the rules: -

1. Link to your tagger and post these rules.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself: some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post and list their names (linking to them)
4. Let them know they've been tagged by leaving a comment at their blogs.

Well here goes: -

1. My family tree can be linked back via my maternal grandfathers line to the french court (offspring of Louis 15th - unfortunately "wrong side of the blanket", as the saying goes)
2. I have no middle name as my mum always said children hate the name they are given so why lumber them with two.
3. My dad's paternal grandparents came to England from Germany in the late 1890's to escape persecution as they were Lutherans.
4. I once shared a lift with the Goodies at the BBC rehersal rooms in Acton, London - I was on my way to an audition for Pan's People (surprisingly I didn't get the job, lol).
5. I love Marmite
6. I have had dogs, rabbits, gerbils, fish, birds but never had a cat.
7. I love Teddy Bears and have a huge 'Hug' (term used for a collection).

Right, this is where I think things will go pear-shaped trying to do the 'linky' things...

Tagged...

...I'm it !!!

Yep, I've been tagged by Chrissie, she of "Life is scrap" fame (see link on right - although it's not working properly you can get to her blog...note to self: really must sort out that link some time sooooooooooooon. lol).

So, here we go then, the rule are (yes, sorry there are rules folks) list 7 random facts/habits about yourself. Then choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names (don't forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog - they also need to write the rules in their answer too).

7 RANDOM facts/habits...

1) Cutlery has its own drawer to live in in my house and each type of cutlery has its own little space. Hate it when items are put back in the wrong place and hate it even more if the handles don't point the same way in each little space :o( Obsessive, or what?

2) Things that should live in the fridge should not be left on the worktop (butter, marge, cheese etc) this really winds me up and I have to put them away before I can start on anything (DH is usually the culprit - he doesn't see the point of putting these things back juuuuuuuust in case he wants some more).

3) Love scented candles especially Christmassy smells. I'd be happy have the house smelling of Christmas all year long. :o)

4) Chrissie mentioned food in her "7" and this made me think about foods that I just can't put together. Love bananas, love bread & butter - banana sandwich...yuk!!! no way 'Jose' just the thought has me grabbing for the bucket...

5) Can't bear sticky or oily hands. Apparently, this is something I've had a thing about since being kneehigh to a grasshopper. I am not a compulsive 'handwasher' but there is no way I can relax on the beach after putting on the sun lotion/oil if it is still on my hands. Gotta have a good supply of wetwipes for these occasions.

6) Love, love, love sunsets. Really like the point when it is dark enough for everything to be in silhouette so that the colours in the sky make a wonderful background.

7) Swing music - Sinatra, Martin, Davis Jnr type stuff...Just love this type of music for humming along to and although much tooooooo young to remember the original releases, I do know most of the words...lol

Well, that's 7 random pieces of info about me, now I've got to come up with 7 folk to tag...

I'm tagging: - Nicola, Sharon, Missy, Kelly, Caroline, Myriam, Kristy (in the hope that she sorts out setting up a blog...)

Have fun folks...

(Not sure what happened with the big gap at the top but just can't get rid of it...)
