Let It Snow Banner

Hey Everyone! My name is Amy McCabe and I am a new member of the Miss Kate Cuttables Design Team. I'm very excited to be here! If you missed the Design Team announcement last week here's a bit about me:

Before we get into my first DT project don't forget to pick up the Freebie of the Day

For my first project I made a Let It Snow Banner

Here are a few close ups:

The top image on each banner and the snowflakes are from Snowflake Set
The Let It Snow Title is perfect for the center banner.
 The Cute Mittens finish off the ends of the banner

 Check out my blog for more details on the project.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a crafty day!

Christmas Morning

Hi everyone ~ Happy New Year!  It's Sherri from The Squeaky Scrapper and I am soooo excited to be able to post for the Miss Kate Cuttables team for another year!   I hope you've been able to stop by and see the new design team for this year because there are some really talented ladies here.

First off, let's start by grabbing your freebie of the day from the Miss Kate Cuttables store.  You can grab it here ~ FREEBIE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For today's project I used a couple of files from the store called "Christmas Morning" and "Baking Together".
This is what the files look like when you get them from the store ~
Last year I posted the left side of this layout, because I couldn't get the right side finished because my worn out blade wouldn't cut the whisk on the right side.  Look at that thing, it was a mess with a dull blade!  Now we're into a new year and I get to show you the complete finished project!
If you'd like to know how I created this project, feel free to pop on over to my blog at The Squeaky Scrapper.
Have you ever wondered where you can find inspiration from Miss Kate Cuttables?  Well, here are some options for you ~
We're on Facebook ~ Miss Kate Cuttables Galleria
We're on Instagram ~ @misskatecuttables
We're on Pinterest ~  http://www.pinterest.com/misskatecuttabl/
I hope you enjoyed my project today...I would love it if you would leave me a comment and please go visit me at The Squeaky Scrapper  to follow my blog :)
Thanks for stopping by today.
Introducing the Miss Kate Cuttables 2015 Design Team
Hello Everyone to Miss Kate Cuttables Blog!
We are super excited to introduce our
new 2015 Designer.
We have some exciting new faces and
of course some returning
designer's who are just glad they chose
 to do another
year of Miss Kate Cuttables with us!
Kim Venezia
I’ve been involved in paper crafting for many years, having been introduced to it when a friend visited me in the hospital and brought her scrapbook along to help pass the time. I was blown away by that scrapbook, having never seen one quite like it before. I loved the idea of pulling pictures out of a shoe box in the closet and turning them into works of art and the heartfelt journaling brought it to life. It inspired me to begin scrap booking while recuperating.
But what started out as something to fill empty hours turned into a real passion and I have been playing with paper in one form or another ever since. I am disabled with Congestive Heart Failure; however, paper crafting is the perfect fit for someone who loves to keep busy, but can’t be active. From there I found my real love…card making.
I think my crafting went to the next level with the purchase of Silhouette Cameo and I prefer working with than to any other technique…though I will try other just about anything once. I also seem to be very good at craft shopping…the heck with new clothes, gimmie some svg files and paper!! I’m excited to be a part of the Miss Kate Cuttables team and feel like I’ve now got my own little piece of heaven. I live with Katy, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who supervises my comings and goings and is the namesake of my blog, Katydid Cards.
