Sam Edelman Beatrix Flats

Spikes and studs are the ultimate trend for accessories this Fall. I especially love sporting some edgy studs on my shoes, and no moderately priced shoe designer does it better than Sam Edelman.

Check out my newest pair of drool-worthy shoes: Sam Edelman's Beatrix Flats. Available in Black, Rose, Gunmetal, Leopard, and Ivory/Black.
Beatrix features a shining toe cap doused with a cluster of spiky studs and stones. I love the mixture of feminine and edgy elements in this flat- the soft leather and delicate bow are the perfect opposite to the funky spiked studded toe.

Who Doesn't Love Shiny Things!?

I adore sequins, sparkles, diamonds, rhinestones, crystals, metallic, and every type of shiny embellishment out there- trust me, I own them all! I have been embracing this trend since I was born, and have been doused in shiny things ever since- I can't help it, I just always gravitate towards extra embellished fun shiny things!
Sequins have been quite a big trend for awhile now, and this Fall they are still in full style; however, the trend has evolved a little bit. This Fall, designers are still showcasing sequins, but they seem to be on the much more muted side- the sequins have a less bright shine, and more of a dull matte appearance.
My first experiment with this new muted sequin trend was with my purchase of this flounce tbd Sequin Jacket (pictured). I purchased this mesh jacket in the silver version because I thought it would fit in with my jewelry and wardrobe best (although I REALLY loved the gold color available as well). The matte sequin color is great because it adds that bit of shine without being obnoxiously too much!
This light 3/4 length sleeve mesh jacket can be dressed up or down depending on how you style it. You can pair it with some dark denim and a black tank for a chic and casual vibe. Personally, I pair this mesh jacket with a simple and plain black dress and flats for a casual look. You can also dress it up by wearing heels or a more fancy dress underneath. I think this jacket is the most perfect accessory!
Verdict= FABULOUS!!!

You can purchase the flounce tbd Sequin Jacket at Nordstrom.
