PG5 10th Anniversay - 2006

We celebrated our 10th anniversary of the PG5 weekends in September 2006. Unbelievably, I didn't get any photos of the group of us! I DID take pictures of the food, including the WONDERFUL desserts Marilyn made. She even made a special anniversary cake for us.

This layout is based on one I saw on the Scrapbooks Etc. website using Crate Paper patterned paper.

City of Florence

Another simple layout but I wanted the focus to be on the photo of the city line of Florence, Italy (2006). What a beautiful city!

Smiths Falls

The next layout is VERY plain and simple. Maybe I'm in a "Tribute to the demise of Simple Scrapbook magazine" mode???

These pictures are of my friend Cathy and I when we decided to play tourist one day in nearby Smiths Falls in the summer of 2004. We went to all the museums PLUS (of course) the chocolate factory. It was a fun day EXCEPT on the way there I got my very first (and only so far - touch wood) SPEEDING TICKET (which I included on the layout).

Lip Synch cover page

It's been a while since I posted. I was away for a week, then when I got back I had several cards to catch up on. Then I needed to make 3 Sympathy cards. I have completed a 2 page layout (it's VERY plain though). I haven't taken a photo though because my camera is in the shop getting repaired. It may take several WEEKS until I get it back.

Meanwhile, I was experimenting on PhotoShop Elements (something I am NOT very comfortable with) but I was able to produce this layout. I wanted it to look like a marquee poster. There is nothing fancy about it but I think I managed to get the look I wanted.

It will be the cover page for an album I want to create about the Lip Synch I organized for our IT Festive Lunch back in December 2007. It was the LAST one I would attend (as an employee) and I wanted it to be "entertaining". So I talked a bunch of my friends/colleagues into putting on a show! It worked out REALLY well and everyone enjoyed it. We even had fun putting on the show (even though we were all so nervous!)

I've been PUBLISHED!!!

YAHOOOOOOO!!!! I've just been published in the "Stampers' Sampler - Take Ten" magazine. The card is based on one of their sketches and uses the JustCre8 stamp set called "A Tree for All Seasons". I am SO EXCITED! It's the first time I've been published!!!

All About Me classes - part I and II

I have taken 2 of these classes at the ScrapBox from a wonderfully talented teacher, Stephanie Pouliot. The first class was using photos of me from ages 2-5, the second class were ages 7-12 (they are my school photos). Sorry for the quality of the layout photos, too much shadow!
