When two stamps are kissing........wanneer twee stempels elkaar kussen.......

Today it's all about kissing! I like this technique very much and you can play on many ways with it. In the last Art Specially magazine you can see an article about this technique. I believe with 6 variations..........
Here is the first one......
I have used a solid oval of Impression Obsession, a cover a card 'Pine'branches' from IO and the lovely bird image from the 'Christmas Song'sheet from Chocolate Baroque. The quote is also from the same sheet.

Vandaag gaat het over 'kussen'! Ik vind deze techniek heel erg leuk en je kunt er op verschillende manieren mee spelen. In het laatste Art Specially magazine kun je hier een uitgebreid artikel over lezen. Ik geloof met wel 6 variaties..........dus als je 'm nog niet hebt....naar de winkel......
Hier is de eerste.............. Ik heb het dichte ovaal van Impression Obsession gebruikt, een cover a card achtergrond van IO, 'Pine branches' en het lieflijke vogel stempeltje van de 'Christmas Song'sheet from Chocolate Baroque.' De tekst is ook van hetzelfde sheet.

For this kissing technique you will need one solid stamp or at least almost solid and a patterned stamp. I inked the solid stamp with Brilliance olive and around the edges some Thyme. Then I stamped this solid oval onto the (clean) cover a card 'pine branches' and with that kiss it pulls out the ink from the oval and you can see the pine branches in white. I overstamped the little robin on his branch and coloured him with pencils.
Voor de kus techniek heb je een dichte- negatieve- solid stempel nodig of in ieder geval een bijna dichte en een stempel met patroon. Ik heb de dichte stempel beiinkt  met Brilliance Olive en aan de rand de kleur Thyme. Daarna heb ik de ovaal afgedrukt op een niet beiinkte pine branches achtergrond en met die 'kus' trekt het de inkt uit het ovaal en kun je de dennetakjes in wit zien. Hier overheen heb ik de kleine vogel op de tak gestempeld en deze gekleurd met kleurpotloden.

The 2nd one..........with a double kiss( two different colour inks)

I inked a solid circle from Impression Obsession with a purple Brilliance ink, then I inked up one of the Morris baubles with Brilliance 'rust' and let these two stamps kiss(this is a double kiss-two inks) The result gave a smooth pattern into the circle. I overstamped with the beautiful elegant flower from the CB sheet: Fantasy Meadow, another gorgeous one! Then some accents with pencil and ultra fine glitter from Hero arts( it's great stuff) The quote is from IO.

Hier heb ik de dichte cirkel van Impression Obsession beïnkt met Brilliance purple, hierna heb ik een van de 'Morris baubles'(CB) met Brilliance Rust beinkt en op de cirkel stempel gedrukt(dubbele kus-twee inkten) Het resultaat was een zacht patroon in de cirkel. Hier overheen gestempeld met de mooie elegante bloem van het   Fantasy Meadow sheet van CB, weer z'on prachtige!Toen nog wat kleurpotlood accenten en ultrafijne glitter van Hero arts.(geweldig spul) de tekst is van IO.

And the 4th one........... En de 4e............

This one is made with the solid circle from IO and the cover a card 'Woodgrain'. On the background of the card you can see the entire Woodgrain background. A very versatile stamp. The pattern repeats in the solid circle. I over stamped with one of the elegant flowers of the Fantasy Meadow  sheet of CB. The quote is from the 'Bold blooms' sheet from CB. All stamps are for sale in the Posthumus shop in Amsterdam. 


Deze is gemaakt met behulp van de cover a card achtergrond 'Woodgrain' van IO en de dichte cirkel stempel. Op de achtergrond van de kaart zie je de gehele cover a card Woodgrain, een zeer veelzijdige stempel. Het patroon herhaalt zich in de cirkel. Hier overheen gestempeld met een van de elegante bloemen van de Fantasy Meadow sheet van CB. De tekst is van de Bold Blooms sheet van CB.

And finally a 'huge kiss' the last one.........
En tot slot een 'geweldig grote' kus, de laatste dan.............

At this one I've used the large solid Cover a card background from IO. I inked it with Memento New sprout and Danube blue and turquoise . Then 'kissed' it several times with a leaf from the Bold blooms sheet from Chocolate Baroque. It gave a sort of Batik effect..... The leaves are all from the Bold blooms/Fresh Blooms from CB and embossed with Lagoon and Olive from WOW. Added some gemstones and a sentiment from the Loving Sentiments from CB.

Bij deze heb ik de grote dichte(solid) cover a card achtergrond van IO gebruikt. Ik heb deze beïnkt  met Memento New Sprout en Danube Blue en Turquoise. Toen diverse keren 'gekust' met het blad van de Bold Blooms sheet van CB. Het geeft een soort batik effect.......De bladeren zijn allemaal van de Bold blooms/Fresh Blooms van Chocolate Baroque en geembosst met Lagoon en Olive van WOW. Nog wat glinstersteentjes en een tekst van de   Loving Sentiments from CB.
