We are back from a few days in heaven. The time literally stood still on the island and we were blown away with the beauty that is Phillip Island. I still have a hard time believing that only 2 hours away from the city's hustle and bustle there is an island that is so completely different to here. There the waves are high, the beaches are never ending and the animal life is all around you.

The majestic coast is so incredible beautiful and vast that it is hard to describe it with words. Over the next few weeks I hope to show you some of our memories here.

Here are few shots of Mr. D enjoying Rhyll's high tide sand which turned into one big art canvas with the help of a stick.

There is packing going on lately...we can't wait until school break is here! We are going off on a little Island adventure and half of the joy is just packing for it... the anticipation for some relaxing days in a gorgeous house by the sea gets us through these last, colder days.  So there of the outfit surge to the blog. Had to snap a shot of this simple yet stylish outfit for a boy (or a girl for that matter) Sometimes less really is more!

Moments | Here Comes the Heat

The heat came out in big style this weekend. As the temperature kept rising the clothes kept on coming off. By lunchtime it was already 33c and the only place to escape to was the cosy nook of Half Moon Bay where there was a nice breeze and plenty to look at. We munched on seafood and finished off with icy poles and a look at the surf.

It is funny how it can suddenly feel like the middle of summer only to go down to 16c the next day, but we have learned to embrace the warmth when it arrives and as usual, the kids ended up in the water even though we forgot to bring bathers! We had two very wet kiddos in tow on our way home, but very happy!!

A day at the skatepark, some good friends, a good time and a lot of laughter. Add to that some nice food, some sun and you got the recipe for a good day!
