INTERIOR | Cotton On KIDS launches 4th Room Collection

For all those interior happy parents and kids out there we have got some good news for you!! Minor De:tales got the exclusive scoop on the new fourth upcoming room range from Cotton On KIDS today...

Cotton On KIDS is set to launch the next range of items in its fourth stylish and affordable bed linen and accessories collection, allowing customers even more choice when it comes to making over their child’s bedroom. The 100 per cent cotton collection, which will be available from March 16, has everything you need to revamp your little one’s living space with items such as alphabet garlands, wall decals and the Mr Fox cushion complimenting items such as the yardage- print woven floor rug and storage sacks from the first drop. 

Customers will be spoiled for choice with reversible quilt covers, matching diagonal stripe sheet sets and loads of cute cushions, as well as the “Dream On” alphabet garland, gold glitter wall stickers and house shelves that are perfect for displaying toys and books, or simply adding a pop of colour to the walls.
“The new range was inspired by Memphis-style prints which translate so well into kids rooms as there is so much colour involved,” said Cotton On KIDS Room Senior Product Developer, Sarah Lawrence.

All styles are designed to be mixed and matched, with items from the new collection matching back with previous ranges, allowing kids and parents to re-create any bedroom and style it their way.
The new collection is available in a range of designs suitable for single, double and queen size beds, ensuring everyone in the house, including toddlers, teens and even the ‘big kids’, can have fun revamping their bedroom. 

The fourth room collection will be available online at cottononkids.com.au and in select Cotton On KIDS stores across Australia and New Zealand from March 17th.

RAFA kids collection of bedding, blankets, pillows and baskets for a child’s room is growing this season. Already being a big fan of their designer furniture for kids, this new range of bedding and room accessories fits perfect in their esthetic form language. I love their new storage baskets that are perfect for stray toys, and their soft linen pillowcases looks great to rest a tired head on.

The big stuffed snake can be a perfect bed dumper for younger kids or perhaps fold up for a quick cushion at a reading session.

Interior | Bedroom Details

It seems to become a lot about fashion on the blog lately so I thought I would share a few details from our bedroom. When we moved into our small but cozy house, we quickly gave the big master bedroom to the kids to share. Us parents moved into the smaller one and I have to admit it was the last room to get some love and attention. It took a while but we finally got it to where we wanted with a focus on a graphic punch and neutral tones where you can come in and relax and hopefully get inspired. Both my husband and myself are working in the visual field so it felt important to keep it stimulating but fun. Luckily the room has plenty of natural light so it is easy to feel recharged after a few moments in here (I find myself sneaking in more often to get a break or just read a nice magazine or book).

INTERIOR | Cotton On Kids launches new Room Range

The very popular first room range from Australian Cotton on Kids has had their designers busy cooking up a new one. This time around, customers can expect to see a range of fresh new styles including soft pastels, polka dots and tassels for girls, and for boys, it’s all about bright block colours, bold zig zags and stripes.

Styles are once again designed to be mixed and matched, inspiring kids and parents to re-create any bedroom and turn it into a sanctuary where they can sleep, dream, play, create and have fun.  They have also focused more on bedroom decor in this collection with geometric-printed lanterns, tulle-covered fairy lights, statement garlands, and brightly coloured wall stickers in all shapes and sizes.

The new room range are due to hit stores and online late-September.

It is easy to marvel at the wonderful rooms and atmospheres of instagram owner @chloeuberkid. It is like jumping into a kids universe full of colour and soft cuddle toys packed with imagination and quirkiness. It is easy to get inspired there and nice to imagine the funny conversations between the lovely gang of adorable kids.

Things I Love | Posters by Springstof

THIS is good peeps! I have longed for a fair priced bedlinen range for kids (because lets face it, kids like to change the look of their room a lot and the bed makes up for such a big place in their room). Like so many other mums I have Oooh and Ahhh to so many of the nice looking bedlinen out there for kids but most of them are in the price range of 130$ and upwards and sometimes it just feels a bit hard on the wallet for a quick room update.

On April 7, Cotton on Kids will launch one of its most exciting categories yet- its first children's bedlinen and room range. The collection, in a burst of print and color, includes a range of stylish and fun sheet sets, reversible quilt covers, cushions, printed paper lanterns, removable chalk boards and other decorative home accessories. All styles are designed to be mixed and matched- inviting kids and parents to explore their creative side and transform any bedroom into a space to dream, play, sleep, invent and most importantly have fun.

INTERIOR | Room with a View

Some room inspiration from the wonderful world of Pinterest. I find myself looking at light rooms filled with colour. Most things in a kids world is full of colour so I really like that they are based in a bright and neutral surrounding. Above is a few rooms that shows what I am talking about.

I like how some has focused on a few nice storage systems that really gives the room character, like the cool vintage looking wire boxes with hangers, or why not give that old wardrobe a new lick of paint and make it a center piece of the room, like the orange wardrobe in the bottom right picture? All good ideas to get inspired by. Happy Saturday out there!

We couldn't help but to get some new duvet covers like the deer cover for M and for D we picked the T-REX CAMP cover since he is a major dinosaur fan.
