Brand Watch | I dig denim AW15/16

When the mailman brings you a parcel like this you know it's a happy day. A few key pieces from the AW15/16 collection from Swedish denim experts I dig denim. We are a big fan of their denims and their collection keeps growing from each season and this time around it's the tiny crowd that also get to jump aboard the denim love train. That's right, IDD is new increasing their line with a baby range. Sizes starts at 56 and goes up to 104.

We chose one of our favourite style jeans, the Alabama in a black wash /  Lauren CP tee in Ash / The Drest Pants in melange grey and a classic Leon Beanie in grey.

Cotton on KIDS are launching their new kids activewear line today! We had the chance to try out some of the range and both D and M gave it a good test run this weekend. We loved the fact that all garments are very lightweight and easy to move around in. The breathable materials makes they perfect for any activity and thanks to their nice design there is no compromise on style either! We had an active Sunday down at the Boardwalk and enjoyed playing footy in the sand, skipping rope and even manged to squeeze in some skating and a quick session of breakdance!?

At the end of the day it was two thumbs up for the active gear. A big plus was that the clothing manged to keep the kids warm in the wind but not too hot to be active in!

NEW IN | Ten C. Mid Lace by 10 IS

Sometimes sneakers are more than just sneakers. When they can take the sparkle of a nice ballet flat and transform it into the most comfortable sneaker then it is all kinds of wonderful. French shoe label 10 IS keeps on doing the impossible. I have a girl that would rather wear the ballet flats but when it comes to their sneakers she is always an avid fan on zipping them on!

These Ten C. Mid Lace in soft metallic leather are perfect for any outfit and has a wonderful shine that makes the shoe envy in me wish they would come in size 40! (oh yes.. big foot over here! These beauties comes in size EU 24-38 so I just missed out). They come with a chrome free inner leather lining and removable leather insock and sturdy/long lasting rubber sole. They got a smart zip on the side to make them easier to get on and off without re-doing the laces. These shoes run true to size and are available at an array of stores.

Close Up | Beautiful Blue

It is hard to not hug the postman when he delivers parcels like this. An orange parcel all the way from The Netherlands and Orange Mayonnaise, packed with beautiful blue items we ordered. Both my kids have a love for the colour blue (although pink and green is also high on the list) and this time around we found some cool tones to satisfy even the most picky blue lover. A bit of monochrome items also sneaked in, which you always can find a reason for.

INTERIOR | Cotton On Kids launches new Room Range

The very popular first room range from Australian Cotton on Kids has had their designers busy cooking up a new one. This time around, customers can expect to see a range of fresh new styles including soft pastels, polka dots and tassels for girls, and for boys, it’s all about bright block colours, bold zig zags and stripes.

Styles are once again designed to be mixed and matched, inspiring kids and parents to re-create any bedroom and turn it into a sanctuary where they can sleep, dream, play, create and have fun.  They have also focused more on bedroom decor in this collection with geometric-printed lanterns, tulle-covered fairy lights, statement garlands, and brightly coloured wall stickers in all shapes and sizes.

The new room range are due to hit stores and online late-September.

NEWS | Mini Rodini - Quel Carousel Drop II

It's been a busy few days lately with photography work so there haven't been much time to update the blog, but how could I forget about Mini Rodini's second Drop?! The very popular Swedish label has just landed in stores and a lot of cool prints are in this drop. The tiger bomber jacket is simply awesome and the pug print gives me the giggles. Close Up | Bobo Choses - A Day in LA

It was a happy mail day today, and our first purchases of the newly released Bobo Choses collection A Day in LA arrived. There is something so wonderfully vintage with all these garments that it is instant love. It is like they have already been worn and loved to the point where it is soft and just perfect to wear.

Both the kids and myself love the prints and there is never any arguments on who gets what because the unisex approach of the prints and colours makes it easy to pass down to the little brother, so we get a lot of wear out of our BC clothes. Here are the links to a couple of our favourites.

Close Up | KUKUKID

A monsterlicious parcel was waiting for us today when we got home from our outdoor adventures. It had a familiar cheeky dinosaur all over it so I instantly knew the kids would be liking what was inside.

I have written about Polish label Kukukid before here, and there is something extra fun about this label with its motto "we're rebel but cute". I love that it's unisex and that both my girl and boy get equally excited about wearing their colourful creations. The fabric is gorgeously soft, and the graphic contrast between the playful monsters and bolts of lightning works well for a mix n match set up between all the garments. We also got the famous dino hoodies which are so nice. Made from thick fleece, it has an impressive silhouette that I can only do justice if I show it in action. Both kids are super eager to try it out so I will make sure to show you just how wonderful it is when it's worn.
