We have been long time fans of Swedish company Toca Boca who makes great apps for kids on multiple platforms. Lately they have added some creative toys to their shop and I'd like to show you their new collaboration with Argentinian artist CHU. I absolutely love toys that promotes imagination and creativity and this little set does both!
Toca Paper Creatures - a puzzle of colorful pieces that can be combined in thousands of different ways to make a completely unique little creature - is the result of the collaboration together with Argentinian street artist, CHU. Currently living in Buenos Aires, CHU is known for his work in art, illustration, graphic design and animation, among others. As the co-founder of the DOMA Collective, a multidisciplinary art and design collective, CHU played a key role in bringing street art to Buenos Aires
To get an idea of how the collaboration worked check out this great little artist visit with CHU and his inspiring work in the city landscape.

Let's Make | Halloween DIY
Not too long to go until Oct 31st and Halloween. This is one holiday I like to celebrate with the kids and since our neighbourhood has quite a few American expats homes there is always a huge crowd of trick or treaters on Halloween evening. We try and do a few fun Halloween activities on the days leading up to Halloween so I have collected a few that we like from the excellent DIY website Mr. Printables. They all have different difficult levels so there are something for every age. Most activities have downloadable templates where you can choose to either colour in or print an already coloured version. Have fun & scary time out there!!

Photography | Anna Hurtig
A huge part of my daily inspiration comes through photography, and I have always been very fascinated by great children's photography. Somebody who does it very well is Swedish photographer Anna Hurtig. Her Imaginary Play 2008 - 2011, deals exactly with the magical world that children seem to move so effortlessly in. I thought I would share some of my favourites from her work, and hopefully it will give you some inspiration in your day as well...
"Someone once said that the happiest time in a persons life is between the age of four and twelve.
The series imaginary play is all about that time in life.
Days filled with make-believe, fantasies, magic and dreams. But also about the bewilderment, sorrows and broken hearts that is part of growing up." - Anna Hurtig.

Interior | Colour Pop
Love this styling by Deborah of blog Ollie & Seb's Haus. The photos feature a collaboration she did with Bang Bang Copenhagen and their beautiful Autumn/Winter pillows. Love the sharp contrast and it reminds me that I desperately need to de-clutter my own home very soon...

CLOSE UP | HEART&GUTS
Recently saw that Oii was stocking a new Danish label by the name of Heart&Guts and after taking a quick look I realized it was something we had to check out a bit closer. I thought I would share some close up photographs of the clothes (and yes we had to stock up on another basic long sleeve by ESP no.1 as well so I threw that in the mix as well) to show you the characteristics of the clothes & label.
I have always been weak for the raw look, and Heart&Guts has just that. There is a lot of raw hems and they trademark themselves as Rugged Wear. I love this, and it gives a nice touch especially in boys wear. I fell head over heels in love with their pants and ordered 2 pair of Zlatan Street Pants, in grey melange and Indigo. The pants has drawstring in the waist and a nice button details in the front. The leg narrows off towards the feet and it is easy to roll them up for extra length in wear. Its mix of 95% cotton and 5% elestan makes them nice and stretchy as well. They also have a nice back pocket with print on and two pockets in the front. Their size is spot on with us ordering a 110/116 to my 4 year old (who is around 110cm). We also tried out a Ben Raw Tee in grey, which also has the lovely raw hems in the neck, arms and waist. Great, stretchy quality and soft fabric.
We were very happy with the look of the clothes and have yet had the chance to try them out, but will definitely give them a good test run soon. Best thing I save for last because that is the price range of these clothes. Good news is that they are very affordable with their prices comparing with stores like Zara & H&M. Definitely a label to keep your eye on if you are into clothes with attitude and nice details at an affordable price.

INTERIOR | Room with a View
I like how some has focused on a few nice storage systems that really gives the room character, like the cool vintage looking wire boxes with hangers, or why not give that old wardrobe a new lick of paint and make it a center piece of the room, like the orange wardrobe in the bottom right picture? All good ideas to get inspired by. Happy Saturday out there!
