Not too long to go until Oct 31st and Halloween. This is one holiday I like to celebrate with the kids and since our neighbourhood has quite a few American expats homes there is always a huge crowd of trick or treaters on Halloween evening. We try and do a few fun Halloween activities on the days leading up to Halloween so I have collected a few that we like from the excellent DIY website Mr. Printables. They all have different difficult levels so there are something for every age. Most activities have downloadable templates where you can choose to either colour in or print an already coloured version. Have fun & scary time out there!!

From Finland with Love
A while ago we decided to do a clothes swap, so the clothes I had, that were now to small would be swapped for clothes that were outgrown by her boy. I absolutely love the second life good quality children's wear have. Finding a good home for the clothes your children have grown up in feels quite important actually. It is funny but somehow the tiny threads your kids walk around in becomes a little part of them, so you want them to find a good second home to make someone extra happy.
Here are some of the clothes we received and an equally big parcel is making its way from Australia over to Finland as we speak. I can't wait to see her little gorgeous boy walk around in some of my boys loved threads.
Here's to sustainable swaps around the world, I hope more people do it, it's definitely worth it!

Blog Love | WEEKDAY CARNIVAL
I have long been a fan of RTIF (Road Trip In Finand) and one of their creators Riikka who also runs the excellent blog WEEKDAY CARNIVAL. Here are some very inspirational photos from their kids room that just oozes of imagination and adventures! How great is that skull cave from Our Children's Gorilla?? There are so many great DIY projects up there and of course her great shop RK Designs (who is having a sale at the moment) that sell some great items too! Here in Australia you can get your RK Design fix over at Minibots.

BLOG LOVE | VDJ
There are endless of inspiration at Le Vestiaire de Jeanne / VDJ blog. Everytime I look at this blog the creative cogs in my brain go crazy. The cuts, the shades of grey, the beautiful styling, the amazing model Jeanne who makes the clothes look so incredible comfortable and wonderful to wear, all these factors makes it my number one place to visit when I just want to get some pure clothes and fabric inspiration. The text is in French, but when the images are this good, I would say it speaks it's own international language!
