INTERIOR | Cotton On KIDS launches 4th Room Collection

For all those interior happy parents and kids out there we have got some good news for you!! Minor De:tales got the exclusive scoop on the new fourth upcoming room range from Cotton On KIDS today...

Cotton On KIDS is set to launch the next range of items in its fourth stylish and affordable bed linen and accessories collection, allowing customers even more choice when it comes to making over their child’s bedroom. The 100 per cent cotton collection, which will be available from March 16, has everything you need to revamp your little one’s living space with items such as alphabet garlands, wall decals and the Mr Fox cushion complimenting items such as the yardage- print woven floor rug and storage sacks from the first drop. 

Customers will be spoiled for choice with reversible quilt covers, matching diagonal stripe sheet sets and loads of cute cushions, as well as the “Dream On” alphabet garland, gold glitter wall stickers and house shelves that are perfect for displaying toys and books, or simply adding a pop of colour to the walls.
“The new range was inspired by Memphis-style prints which translate so well into kids rooms as there is so much colour involved,” said Cotton On KIDS Room Senior Product Developer, Sarah Lawrence.

All styles are designed to be mixed and matched, with items from the new collection matching back with previous ranges, allowing kids and parents to re-create any bedroom and style it their way.
The new collection is available in a range of designs suitable for single, double and queen size beds, ensuring everyone in the house, including toddlers, teens and even the ‘big kids’, can have fun revamping their bedroom. 

The fourth room collection will be available online at cottononkids.com.au and in select Cotton On KIDS stores across Australia and New Zealand from March 17th.

Brand Watch | Bobo Choses SS15 'Guess Who's Coming for Breakfast'

I hope everybody had a good start to the new year. We had a lovely get away holiday and a chance to both visit Sydney and some amazing beaches in New South Wales with family. With a new year comes a lot of new things, and one thing we have looked forward to in particular is Bobo Choses new SS15 collection, 'Guess Who's Coming for Breakfast'.

Get ready to have breakfast with the most clumsy, shy and friendly monsters: Mr Nail, Bob the Monster, Clever the Ghost, and The Omelets will become your best guests! Being big fan of monsters in general it will be a collection that will go down a treat for us... With some lovely primary colours on the palette and so many fun prints to choose between as well, we will have a hard time to limit ourselves this season.

I love the fact that each tutu comes with adjustable straps for growing princesses which means the tutus are long wearing and can be enjoyed for years to come.

Close Up | Munsterkids

We are loving these backpacks by munsterkids. With names like Jungle Pack and Spillage, you get an idea of the playful patterns they have used. I had fun styling them for a shoot and they always seem to be the perfect companion when we go out on our adventures.

They have the perfect inner pocket which is perfect for more delicate items such as an ipad and it comes with a nice sized outer pocket as well. Made from a 100% sturdy cotton canvas it also has a padded base and adjustable shoulder straps which makes them perfect for all ages. This is nostalgia! I grew up wearing this backpack to school, and even though they have never gone away I love that a new generation is growing up with this hard wearing Swedish label. INTERIOR | Cotton On Kids launches new Room Range

The very popular first room range from Australian Cotton on Kids has had their designers busy cooking up a new one. This time around, customers can expect to see a range of fresh new styles including soft pastels, polka dots and tassels for girls, and for boys, it’s all about bright block colours, bold zig zags and stripes.

Styles are once again designed to be mixed and matched, inspiring kids and parents to re-create any bedroom and turn it into a sanctuary where they can sleep, dream, play, create and have fun.  They have also focused more on bedroom decor in this collection with geometric-printed lanterns, tulle-covered fairy lights, statement garlands, and brightly coloured wall stickers in all shapes and sizes.

Thought I would share a few moments photos that was actually part of a shoot I did for Munsterkids not too long ago. THIS is good peeps! I have longed for a fair priced bedlinen range for kids (because lets face it, kids like to change the look of their room a lot and the bed makes up for such a big place in their room). Like so many other mums I have Oooh and Ahhh to so many of the nice looking bedlinen out there for kids but most of them are in the price range of 130$ and upwards and sometimes it just feels a bit hard on the wallet for a quick room update.

On April 7, Cotton on Kids will launch one of its most exciting categories yet- its first children's bedlinen and room range. molo Spring/Summer 14 is hitting stores right now and they Danish label is yet again putting out a strong and colourful collection for both boys, girls and babies.

molo's spring and summer collection '14 is the largest to date and offers a juxtaposition of craziness and simplicity. The collection is an experiment in contrast, graphic expressions, innovative prints as well as metallic details, tone-on-tone effects and colour blocking. Look for a playful combination of colours, materials and patterns.

The boys can look forward to exploring the skies and the sesas and unleas their inner race car driver in themes like Sky Blues, Urban Adventure and Flower Waves. They are even releasing a digital print T-shirt with a 3D effect, complete with 3D glasses.  The girls can look forward to taking a trip to Beach Safari, getting carried away on raibow coloured clouds and exploring fairytale worlds filled with daises and graphic swans, in the themes Airy Pastels, Urban Forest and Graphic Blur.

Hello Summer | SONS + DAUGHTERS

With the appending Australian summer around the corner and the increasing sun exposure, it was time to find some proper sunglasses for the kids. I have heard a lot of good things about SONS + DAUGHTERS and when Fourmonkeys asked if we wanted to test them out, we of course said yes.

We decided to go with the Bobby styles. The darker tortoise style for my girl and the matte frost style for the boy. SONS + DAUGHTERS sunglasses have tinted lenses for clear vision and comfort. The sunglasses are all RX'able frames allowing for prescription lense and offers 100% UV protection. They also have spring hinges for durability and comes in a nice protective case. Now we just need some proper sun to try them out in, which with a bit of luck will be very soon!

Welcome to the Ball | H&M All For Children '13

Halloween is quickly approaching and yet again H&M is launching another super cute All For Children collection. This time around they bring your kids into the fantasy world of an 18th century masquerade ball. The collection includes costumes for both boys and girls and some of the costumes that are included are, Marie Antoinette dresses, mermaid costumes, bat capes and pirate outfits, all with matching accessories.

The collection will be available online from October 3rd and in stores beginning October 10.

We couldn't help but to get some new duvet covers like the deer cover for M and for D we picked the T-REX CAMP cover since he is a major dinosaur fan.
