EXPLORE | Coast Cruising

M wears: Sweatshirt by Bobo Choses / Dress by Bobo Choses. D wears: Tee by Bobo Choses / Denim shorts by I Dig Denim.

The summer holidays has been all sorts of magic this time around. We took time to just be and made sure we really disconnected with all things stressful. We found this magical place while shooting a range for Alphabet Soup and I couldn't wait to take my kids here.

Sorrento's back beach is filled with majestic cliffs, rocks and gorgeous rock pools. For the daring kids there is also a bigger rock you can jump off and land into one of the deeper pools.

I simply had to shoot some photos of the kids very own clothes pick from the new collection entitled How to Make a Garden by Bobo Choses. A beautiful range with an even more beautiful message of preserving our ever so important bees and plants. You can find the range over at our favourite shop Buckets and Spades who has taken in a big part of the collection.

You will find wonderful soft fabrics mixed with an eclectic mix of fun artworks and a big dose of comfort as usual.

EXPLORE | W.I.M.A.M.P by Bobo Choses

M wears: Raincoat by W.I.M.A.M.P / Trackpants by Bobo Choses / Beanie by I Dig Denim / Shoes by Feiyue. D wears: Green Tee by W.I.M.A.M.P / Pants by Bobo Choses / Beanie by I Dig Denim / Shoes by Adidas.

So it's been about a billion years since my last blog post, but that's just how life can be sometimes. All of a sudden you end up in the fast lane (read work) and those calm little moments when you could blog on suddenly disappears. BUT, when I heard of this great initiative by Bobo Choses, I felt it was well worth coming out of the blog hiatus for.

Well known kids brand Bobo Choses, have started a wonderful capsule collection called W.I.M.A.M.P. (worldwide inventive minds against monsters of pollution).

"At Bobo Choses we believe that children can inspire and teach adults on how to care for the Earth. Therefore we asked kids from around the world to make drawings on how they would stop sea pollution.

This is how the W.I.M.A.M.P. (worldwide inventive minds against monsters of pollution) squad came about. Wimamps come in all ages from all over the world, they are very creative, seriously funny, and have strong awareness and profound respect towards the environment. W.I.M.A.M.P. capsule collection by Bobo Choses seeks to inspire both parents and children featuring kids drawings from around the globe on how to stop sea pollution.

W.I.M.A.M.P. 2017 collection is conceived as a social project which profits will be allocated by Bobo Choses to Ocean Conservancy NGO in order to fund activities of ocean conservation."

This is something we feel very passionate about supporting. We spend such a huge part of our lives in the nature and very often we come across plastic being thrown and washed up ashore. We feel so blessed to have such amazing nature right at our doorstep so today we took the chance to visit one of our favourite beaches and do a little clean up of our own. We searched the shores to find thrash that shouldn't be there. We found plastic bottles, caps, glass bottles, a bicycle wheel and even a pair of reading glasses! We made sure to bring it back and what could be recycled got recycled. We love the fact that it's a project that includes children and uses children's drawings to spark the imagination of both parents and kids alike.

If you would like to support this social project by purchasing your own W.I.M.A.M.P clothing and lending a hand to stop sea pollution, please visit BUCKETS AND SPADES who carries the collection in their stores. The collection is not available online.

EXPLORE | CERES COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENT PARK

M wears: top by Bobo Choses / Pants by Bobo Choses / Sandals by Saltwater. D wears: Zip Hoodie by Bobo Choses / Pants by molo.

When the hustle and bustle of the city gets to be a bit too much, its nice to escape to a place like CERES Community Environment Park. CERES (pronounced 'series') is an award not-for-profit sustainability centre located on 4.5 hectares on the Merri Creek in East Brunswick, Melbourne.

CERES is a place where people come together to share ideas about living well together, and directly participate in meeting their social and material needs in a sustainable way. Through social enterprises, education and training, employment and community engagement, CERES provides the means by which people can build awareness of current local and global issues, and join in the movement for economic, social and environmental sustainability.

As soon as you enter the doors of the park, a calm descends on you and you instantly forget about traffic jams and all the other things that sometimes can be annoying when living in a big city like Melbourne. The clucking of hens and buzzing of bees and people chatting is a welcome relief, and time seem to go at a different, more slower pace here. We love visiting the nursery and the organic market where you can buy some wonderful produce, or grab a quick bite to eat, while the kids play in the sandpit with some rustic toys that are available. If they are a bit too old for sandpit fun, there is a cool adventure playground in the park too. It's definitely worth the drive across the city and a wonderful place to recharge for the whole family on a weekend.

SUMMER DREAMING | MUNSTERKIDS S16

M wears: Avalon Gold Tee by Missie Munster / Pineapple Jersey Pants by Missie Munster / Sunhat by Country Road.  D wears: Suds Tee by Munsterkids / Upside Down Cap by Munsterkids / Jersey Cruz pants by Munsterkids.

The sun has finally made an appearance after a long and very windy winter. The wait for warmer weather has felt unusually long so when a warm day finally came around and we could stick our toes in the crisp white sand at Seaford, it was truly a pleasure!

The new high summer collection from Munsterkids has arrived on both the virtual shelves and in stores. We are totally smitten with this line and it was of course a bit extra fun to see some of my own designs turning out so great - the lovely peeps over at Munsterkids truly knows what they are doing (with over 10 years in the game their collections just keep getting stronger).

I appologize for the slow feed on the blog lately. Work has taken over a big chunk of my weekdays but the creative side never sleeps so I promise I will get back to posting more interesting travel destinations and photos from our adventures here in Australia. Until then... I hope the sun shines on you too!

BRAND WATCH | SS16 I Dig Denim

Every time I get a glance at a new collection from Swedish I Dig Denim, I get a little bit homesick. The blue light, the atmosphere, the denim. It instantly brings me back to a familiar feeling and the mutual love for denim as a staple fashion favourite!

I Dig Denim's Spring and Summer 16 range is filled with some special 'must haves' for both young ones and women. We have fallen head of heels in love with their new Norton bomber jacket in a great new denim colour. Other favourites are the Alabama and Arizona blue denims for the boys and the cool Zoe dress, Bonnie jumpsuit and soft Belle Sweater with raw hems for the girls.

There are so many instant and timeless classics in this collection, and the baby selection are just too darn cute! Think mini denim and cosy sweat basics. I will definitely show you some of that range too soon. For women there is a lot of great new pieces coming too. The denim fit is just perfect and the tops are instant favourites that you seem to choose every time you make a choice in the wardrobe.

The new SS16 range drops in stores around the end of February.
