LES CHINOISERIES

La empresa española Les Chinoiseries, especializada en papeles y telas en
miniatura, ha tenido la amabilidad de publicar en su página web, dos imágenes del baño
de mi casita rústica, en el que usé  uno de sus preciosos papeles,  el modelo "shells azúl".
Decoré los muebles del baño a juego con el diseño del papel, con  mini conchas en
el espejo, en el mueble lavabo, en el portar rollos y en la estantería-toallero.

CASA RÚSTICA VII

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

          La instalación eléctrica de la casa rústica fué lo rimero que hice antes
          de pintar y empapelar suelos y paredes.
          Hice rozas en la madera para ocultar los cables,coloqué todas las
          lámparas y  llevé todos los cables hacia la parte trasera de la casa.
          Mi marido soldó todos los pequeños cables a uno mayor que a su
          vez soldó a una pequeña clavlija que es lo único que se ve detrás.
          A esa cavlija le conecto un pequeño trasnsformador de 12v
          que enchufo a la red.
          The electrical installation of the cottage was what I did before pile
          painting and papering walls and floors.
          I clearings in the wood to hide electrical cords, I placed all
          lamps and took all power cords to the back of the house.
          My husband welded all small electrical cordss to bigger, and then
          welded to a small connector.
          This connector I plug in a small 12v transformer plug into the mains.

 El aspecto por detrás es bastante chapucero pero la instalación funciona perfectamente.
 Para tapar "mi obra" hice un panel que decoré y pinte como el resto de la fachada.
 La puedo quitar y poner cada vez que tengo que añadir conexiónes, como he hecho
 al poner unos nuevos faroles de suelo en el jardín y todo queda oculto tras el panel trasero.
 Espero  hacerlo mejor en mi nueva casa,pero me está quitando el sueño porque se abre
 por delante,por los laterales y por el tejado y no se hacía donde llevar los cables para
 ocultarlos y que sólo se vea la pequeña conexión para el trasnformador.
 ¿ Alguna idea ?
 The look is pretty sloppy but the installation works perfectly.
 To cover "my work " I made a table decorated and painted like the rest of the facade.
  I can remove when I have to add connections, as I have now to put a floor lamps 
  in the garden and everything is hidden behind the wood.
  I hope to do better in my new home, but it is taking away the dream because
  it opens in front, sides and the roof and there was no where to take the electric 
  cords to hide it and only show the little connection to the GCA.
  Could you give some idea?

                                                               LITTLE GARDEN

                                      He hecho algunas fotos del pequeño jardín de
                                      la casa rústica con los preciosos regalos de Eva.
                                      Este rincón es perfecto para que nadie le moleste,
                                      se está dando un rápido baño porque justo encima
                                      tiene el nido con sus huevos y ¡no les quita ojo!

                                     I take some photos of the little garden in my 
                                     rustic dollhouse with wonderful Eva's gift.
                                     This spot is perfect for anyone to bother,
                                     is taking a quick dip for just over has the nest with 
                                     her eggs,does not take away my eye!

                                        Aquí se puede ver el nido con sus huevos.
                                        El árbol es una rama real con musgo en la copa.
                                        Here you can see the nest with eggs.
                                        The tree is a real branch with moss on cup.

                                   La señora de la casa está descansando un rato
                                   a la sombra de la pérgola,está tomando un refresco
                                   para luego continuar trasplantando sus macetas.
                                   The lady of the house is making a break for a while
                                    in the shade of the pergola, she is taking a drink.
                                   After the break continue transplanting her pots.

                                   Ya estoy haciendo cositas para mi próximo sorteo....

CENA DE SAN VALENTIN

He preparado una cena íntima para el dia de los enamorados.

I have prepared a private dinner for Valentine's day.

De primero se servirá un consomé calentito.

From first course will be serving a soup.

Después Jamón asado con patatas cocidas y ensalada.

After roast ham with boiled potatoes and salad.

De postre mousse de fresas o de chocolate.

Y para acabar,bombones,dulces y un licorcito

para brindar por una romántica noche.

Strawberry mousse dessert or chocolate.Finally chocolates,
 sweets and a little liquor to provide for a romantic evening

LA CENA DE NOCHEBUENA

CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER

El día más especial de la Navidad para mi es Nochebuena.

La noche del 24 de Diciembre nos reunimos toda la familia

para una cena muy especial.

That very special day for me is Christmas Eve.
The night of December 24th we joined the whole family
for a very special dinner.

En la casita rústica ya está todo preparado.

In the rustic cottage I have everything ready.

El plato principal es pavo asado con una guarnición de

verduras,minisalchichas con bacon y salsa de arándanos.

Por supuesto acompañado de un buen vino tinto.

The main course is roast turkey with a side of
vegetables, small sausages and bacon and cranberry sauce.
Of course accompanied by a good Spanish red wine.

De postre macedonia de frutas,el postre típico de mi madre,

y tarta de moras con nata líquida.

For dessert a fruit salad,typical dessert from mom

and blueberry pie with cream.

Para terminar, café con unos dulces navideños.

Después de esta copiosa cena tomamos unas copitas de

Cava y a cantar villancicos hasta que el cuerpo aguante.

¡¡0s deseo Feliz Navidad!!

To finish coffee with some Christmas treats.
After this hearty meal we take some glass of Cava

and to sing carols until you drop.

LLEGÓ LA NAVIDAD

CHRISTMAS TIME

Por fin ha llegado el momento de adornar la casa,

poner las luces,el árbol,estrellas,velas,flores de pascua.

Hacerlo con mis niños y compartir momentos en familia

es lo mejor de estas mágicas fechas.

At last It's time to decorate the house,

Put the lights,the tree,stars,candles,ponsettias.

Doing it with my childrens and share family moments

is the best of these magic dates.

También he adornado la casita rústica ,os invito a verla.

Ya están colgados los calcetines en la chimenea.

I hang the socks in the fireplace

Los muebles adornados con guirnaldas.

The fornitures adorned with garlands.

El árbol decorado con sus luces encendidas

The Christmas tree is decorated with lights

Todo está preparado para celebrar la Navidad.

Everything is ready for Christmas time.

A Mary Willow

Mary Willow es una maravillosa miniaturista española,

a la que admiro hace tiempo.

Conocí su trabajo a través de la revista MINIATURAS,

donde publicaba sus escenas y se molestaba en hacer

los planos de sus preciosos diseños.

Sus muebles eran una preciosidad,muy originales,

con un encanto especial y tenía la posibilidad de hacerlos!

Gracias a sus planos hice este mueble con lavabo,

la estantería-toallero azul del baño,

y el banco con puertas correderas del salón,

para la casa rústica.

Nunca pude ponerme en contacto con ella para agradecerle

su generosidad y expresarle mi admiración.

Hoy he recibido un comentario en la entrada "Mi casa rústica II"

de mi blog que me ha llenado de alegría.

Mary Willow is a wonderful Spanish miniaturist,
I admire the long ago.
I knew his work through the magazine MINIATURES,
where he published his scenes and bothered to
levels in their beautiful designs.
Their furniture was stunning, very original
with a special charm and was able to make them!

SALON RECIEN PINTADO

NEW DINING ROOM

Ya he colocado los muebles que he pintado en el salón de la casa rústica.

I have already placed the furniture in the dining room

of the rustic house.

Al verlos todos juntos el salón ha ganado luminosidad.

I think that the dining room seems more luminous.

Incluso parece que hay más espacio.

It even seems that it is more extensive

Campanita y mis hijos nos sonrien desde la chimenea.

Tinkerbell and my childrens smile to us from the chimney.

He cambiado un poco el aspecto de algunos

muebles del salón de la casa rústica.

I have changed the aspect of some furniture

of the dininig room of the rustic house.

Los he aclarado para darles un poco de luminosidad.

Primero los lijé un poco,un par de manos de blanco y

lijé las esquinas para dar un aspecto decapado.

I have whitened to give them a little luminosity.

First I sandpapered a little, a pair of target hands and

sandpapered the corners to give to an aspect pickling.

En el banco he hecho un asiento y cojines nuevos.

¡Por fin me he atrevido a usar la aguja con algo fácil!

Me gusta el resultado,los detalles se ven mejor.

I have made a new seat and cushions for the bench.

I have myself bold to use the needle with something easy!

I like the result, now the details stand out more

Creo que ha Campanita también le gusta como queda,

MI CASA RUSTICA V

Ya os he enseñado toda la casa por dentro ,

os voy a enseñar unas cuantas fotos del exterior y

ya terminamos con el tour.

I have already show you all the house to you on the inside,now

I am going to show you a few photos to you of the outside

and we already finished with tour.

En la pérgola puse una pequeña enredadera con flores lilas

enredada en el poste, al ponerla no me gustó el resultado

de lejos da el pego pero de cerca no era natural.

In the pérgola I put a small climbing plant with flowers lilacs

romped in the post, when putting it did not like the result

because close by it was not natural.

Así que la he quitado, voy a hacer una nueva enredadora

trepadora que suba por el poste y cubra parte de las vigas.

I have cleared so it, I am going to make a new climbing plant

that raises by the post and covers part with the beams.

Aquí se ve el árbol muy bien es muy real.

Here you can see the tree it look like real.

Para el pozo he hecho una hiedra trepadora,

la he hecho con alambre y con un corta papel

en forma de hoja las recorto y las voy pegando.

For the well I have made an ivy, I have done it with wire and with a punched then I trim them to leaf and them glue.

En la puerta más hiedra,las hortensias las he

hecho de la misma forma pero los pétalos los

pego en una bolita de fimo para conseguir

la forma redondeada.

In the door more ivy, I have done hydrangeas of the same form but I stick them to the petals in a small ball of fimo to secure the cleared form.

Estas sillas las hice recortando ramitas para imitar unas

sillas rústicas de troncos,me encantan.

To these chairs I did them trimming small branches

to imitate rustic chairs of trunks.

Como en las casas reales,núnca se acaba de hacer cambios,

ahora estoy pensando hacer unas escaleras exteriores para

subir al piso de arriba,poner unas farolas en la pérgola y

faroles en las fachadas laterales,más flores................

HA SIDO UN PLACER ENSEÑAROS MI CASITA RUSTICA,

UN BESICO.

Like in the real houses,

never one finishes making changes,now I am thinking to make stairs outer to raise the floor of above,to put lampposts in the pérgola and lights in the lateral facades, more flowers .......

EL SALON-THE LIVINGROOM

Esta es la puerta de acceso al salón os invito a visitarlo.

This is the access door to the hall I invite to you to visit it.

Las paredes las empapelé con un papel rústico con relieve

Hice el revistero de madera y lo pinté a juego con el banco

y la librería.

Debajo de la mesa hay un brasero que rellené de pequeñas

piedras pegadas y pintadas imitando las brasas.

En la esquina derecha hay una pequeña luz ambiental.

I papered them to the walls with a rustic paper with relief

I made the magazine rack of wood I painted and it just as

the bank and the bookcase.

Underneath the table there is a brazier that I filled up

of small stuck stones I painted and them imitating live coals.

In the right corner there is a small environmental light.

La alfombra la imprimí en papel grueso.

El macetero colgante me lo hizo mi hermana Bea

y yo hice la planta con tiras de papel,es una cinta.

The carpet is printed in heavy paper.

The hanging flowerpot stand made me my sister Bea

and I made the plant with strips of paper.

La lámpara de pie la hice con un botón como soporte,

un tubo de plástico y como pantalla una cesta de mimbre

recortada,tengo una igual en mi casa real.

The floor Lamp I did it with a button like support,

a plastic tube and as screen a basket of overwhelm trimmed,

I have an equal in my real house.

Esta planta la hice con alambre fino y corazones

recortados de papel.

Mi Yorkshire está descansando tan agustito.

This plant I made with fine wire and trimmed hearts of paper.

My Yorkshire is resting placidly.

Los tres libros azules de la estanterias están

impresos y son de poesia romántica.

The three blue books of the bookcases are printed

and are of romantic poetry.

Aquí tengo dos fotos de mi hijo mayor.

El reloj de la izquierda lo hice con madera y palillos.
