SPOOKY Halloween Coffee Gift Card with My Creative Time

I had so much fun creating this haunting & spooky

coffee gift card holder.  Literally it took less than 20 minutes to put this

together and it is so cute!

I did make this die into a full card.  See below

By simply aligning the top of the card with a FOLDED piece of paper, make sure
the cut line of the die is just above the fold. When it comes out of the die cut machine you
will have a top folding card.

MCT Products used:

This will fit into an A2 size envelope so it's not a tiny little card.
Using the Ginger Halloween paper on top of Kraft colored cardstock just
screams FALL.  I did use Tea Dye Distress ink to ink the edges of ALL the
papers.  I was beyond excited to use the Spooky Tag Dies as I just love
them all!  The two bats came from this set as well as the coffin.
Once I pulled out Happy Haunting and found the sentiment "Coffin Break", I was over
the moon!  How perfect for this themed coffee gift!

If you are new to Emma's designs, please note how crisp her stamps are!
The mix of fonts on one sentiment is amazing and truly sets your projects
apart from all the rest.  The ease of mixing and matching throughout her entire
line is what keeps me coming back for more!

Here is the link to her shop where you will find ALL of her creations:

Thank you for taking time to visit my blog today.
I feel blessed that you have taken a couple of minutes to share

Christmas 2022 - It's a Wrap!

 Merry Christmas!

We have 6 inches of snow and temps around 6 degrees.  It's cold but at least we have a white Christmas.  I wanted to take a minute to show you some "gift boxes" I made for my family.  We can't get together today due to weather and Covid, but at least I thought I could take the pics before I forget.

I watched The Posh Paper Lady create these beautiful tea caddies but I kept thinking of other ways to use them.  Here is her video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlR0021jZTI&t=653s

She has amazing ideas and I love the simplicity in which she creates!  Enjoy and have fun making your own caddies to use how you wish.  If you go to her channel make sure you tell her I sent you!

I am using mine to hold Gift Cards and Hot Cocoa Bombs!  They turned out adorable!

These area addictive to make!  I hope you enjoy her video and create some of your own!

Have a wonderful day!

My Creative Time Day 4 - 5 Days of Christmas - Gift Card Holders

Welcome to our 4th day of 5 Days of Christmas!  Today we all will be showcasing some quick and EASY Gift Card Holders!

As I share in my video below, I give more gift cards than anything else.

My local grands are older and they want to pick out their own stuff!  My littles (who I love to shop for) live so far away I never know what they want or need so usually I end up shopping with them when I go to visit them in California.  I have found having spare gift cards on hand really saves my bacon (if you know what I mean) at the last minute.

Emma has beautiful gift card holder dies but I wanted to give you an option to create on on the fly and use her dies and sentiments to decorate it.  All details of how I created this card holder are in the video.

By slipping on a belly band that's holding the snowflake, it closes beautifully.
More details in this video:

My Creative Time Gift Card Giving!

Halloween is such a fun time of the year.

I live in Indiana so the break from warm, sticky and humid days is

literally a breath of fresh air.  The vibrant colors can cheer up anyone and today

I want my project to cheer you up.

Just like "peas & carrots", Halloween says Candy Corn so it is impossible for me
not to add a packet of candy in the mix.

I made the gift card a two layer card because these Candy Corn papers from MCT are just too perfect!

My Creative Time Gift Card Giving!

As I've shared before, I give Gift Cards for most any occasion!

Local grands would rather get "what they want" and the younger ones live too far away.

But if I'm honest, I like to have some gift cards on hand for those spur of the moment gifts when you just want to thank someone or wish them a happy birthday.

Today I am featuring one of my all time favorite dies from MCT.

I just love the Latte Cover Card Die.  I had to make two I love it so much.

Then I flipped it over and added a gift card holder from the Gift Card Tag Die.
I love this set on it's own, but I can always add a pocket for a gift card to anything I create.

The sentiments come from:
Let's Venti (having the die to cut out the strip is fab!)

Square Tag Dies  for the small tag
Cute Card Dies for the card bases

I added in some twine and sequins to finish off my project.  This may be my favorite gift card holder I have made!  I love the paper and the fall vibe.
These are all great products to have for your own projects!

Thanks for stopping by!

My Creative Time Gift Card!

Gift cards are my go-to gift at Christmas Time, birthdays, graduation etc.

It seems like it's gotten harder and harder to buy for people, especially my grands!

Each Christmas I either give cash or gift cards so they can select their own gift.

Since I don't spend much time picking out a gift, I like to put the extra effort

into making the gift card holder.  My Creative Time to the rescue!

MCT Products used:
(Back in stock August 27)
Sweet Holiday Wishes Stamps & Dies (Back in stock August 27)

I closed the little envelope with one of my favorite clips I get off Amazon.  Tim Holtz makes them too, but the ones from Amazon are much cheaper.

I used various gems and snowflakes from my stash to add the finishing touches.

Please note - Emma's paper pads are 80# and the perfect paper to use for projects such
as this.  The extra "weight" will add stability to your project and truly give it a polished look.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you are getting the jump on your holiday crafting season as I am!
Just think while everyone else is frantically making cards and projects, you and I can sip our
hot cocoa while listening to seasonal music and looking at our tree!

Happy Holidays!

Day 4 - Final Day of Sneaky peeks for My Creative Time's 121st Release!

 Whew!  What a great week!

I was fueled by coffee each day AND the inspiration from my Design Team Sisters!

Emma never lets us down!  She knows that time is precious to all of us and when she designs products that cut down on time to create, it's a win win for us all!

Today we are sneaking her new Stitched Gift Card Holder Die

I love this simple design especially when you have a lot of gift cards to give out like at Christmas!  This is one cut and you are done.  I went ahead and added in a layer from the small Loopy Frame Die and then added a die from the Label Die Set.  This is another set you WANT to have in your hands!
You will always have a great shadow for any sentiment you want to add!

I love the clean and simple lines on the back as well as the stitching!  It has been so much fun and EASY having Emma's new paper pad to go with this release!   She has totally made it "goof proof" if you need a female or male card/gift card.  This paper pad is a GREAT addition and one you will want in your stash!

Well - that's a wrap!  Now to wait until tomorrow for the release to go live!!!!

and it will look fantastic.

Today I made a gift card holder out of the cutest

coffee die yet!  I love how quickly it came together and

how it looks like I spent hours creating it.

Products used:

I used some twine from my stash and a
Martha Stewart punch to add the white branch.  I used my
white gel pen to "stitch" along the outside.
I love hearts so much I could add them to everything.

My Creative Time - Just Cards!

I think as crafters we all have a

home base and mine is card making.  This year being

stuck at home while we battle Covid, card making has kept me sane.

I do sell my cards, but this year I really began sending up to 10 cards

a week.  I started with my church family as many are elderly

and I felt could use the pick me up of someone thinking about them

even though we couldn't see them.  Then I branched out to my circle of friends.

I took the time to write something meaningful in the cards as I

wanted to give them hope.  As a nurse, I knew the danger when the pandemic

first began.  But as the shutdowns continued, I felt I had a calling to make

and send cards as much as I could.  It was this year that I was

grateful that I had a good supply of stamps, ink, dies and paper to carry

on my mission.  Oh and let's not forget Amazon deliveries!!!

I finished my handmade Christmas cards in March of 2020

so when it came time to send and address, I had plenty of time to actually

write notes in almost all of my cards.  And not to brag, but I already

have my 2021 Christmas cards made and will enjoy writing in them

come this November.

When Emma asked me to Guest Design, I was thrilled

when she asked for a card.  Cards don't have to be hard or

challenging.  I know there are many intricate card designs out there

and they are beautiful, but that's not my style.  I'm a simple country girl and

I like things that are easy.  So here is my card that I created

for My Creative Time.

I created the front of my card using the

Gift Card Tag Dies.  This is such a versatile set.

After gluing the pocket together, I actually trimmed

off the top so I could still stamp a sentiment at the top of my card.

I wanted the entire inside available for me to write

something instead of putting the gift card inside.

Think outside the box!  You might think this tag set is just for

Christmas, but as you can see, it can be used year round!

Adding on the Peeking Bunny Die is the perfect

addition to make this look springy!

Well, that's it for me today!  Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Make sure and head over to My Creative Time and check out

everything she has to offer!

Happy Crafting!  Mimi

My Creative Time - Birthday Palooza!

Hello!  I'm Guest Designing today for

My Creative Time for her blog for her Birthday Palooza!  It's always an exciting time to share

products with you that I use ALL THE TIME!

Emma's products make creating something special so easy.

I'm not sure about you, but it seems that I am

giving away more and more gift cards instead of a gift

that I've shopped for in the stores.  Let's face it, with the Pandemic

no one was really out shopping, so gift cards were an awesome option.

That being said, two of my grandchildren are getting to the age

where they want to pick out their own gifts.  Giving them a gift card makes it

easy, however sending a gift card to someone in the mail, doesn't have

to just be blah!  Today I will be sending out a gift card all

wrapped up in cuteness using the Love Letter Die.  The insert included with

this die is the perfect holder for your stamped sentiment and you can slide the

gift card behind.  I used the Somebunny Special stamp set for my

Happy Birthday.  Look how many

sentiments you get with this set!

How special does this look?

I used an older 6x6 paper pad from Anna Griffin - isn't it lovely?

So just because you are giving gift cards, no

need to get lazy!!!  Ha ha!  Make it special! Make it fun!

Happy Crafting - Mimi!
