I had so much fun creating this haunting & spooky
coffee gift card holder. Literally it took less than 20 minutes to put this
together and it is so cute!

Merry Christmas!
We have 6 inches of snow and temps around 6 degrees. It's cold but at least we have a white Christmas. I wanted to take a minute to show you some "gift boxes" I made for my family. We can't get together today due to weather and Covid, but at least I thought I could take the pics before I forget.
I watched The Posh Paper Lady create these beautiful tea caddies but I kept thinking of other ways to use them. Here is her video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlR0021jZTI&t=653s
She has amazing ideas and I love the simplicity in which she creates! Enjoy and have fun making your own caddies to use how you wish. If you go to her channel make sure you tell her I sent you!
I am using mine to hold Gift Cards and Hot Cocoa Bombs! They turned out adorable!
These area addictive to make! I hope you enjoy her video and create some of your own!
Have a wonderful day!

Welcome to our 4th day of 5 Days of Christmas! Today we all will be showcasing some quick and EASY Gift Card Holders!
As I share in my video below, I give more gift cards than anything else.
My local grands are older and they want to pick out their own stuff! My littles (who I love to shop for) live so far away I never know what they want or need so usually I end up shopping with them when I go to visit them in California. I have found having spare gift cards on hand really saves my bacon (if you know what I mean) at the last minute.
Emma has beautiful gift card holder dies but I wanted to give you an option to create on on the fly and use her dies and sentiments to decorate it. All details of how I created this card holder are in the video.
In honor of our "5 Days of Christmas", we are having a sale this week to give you the opportunity to pick up any "last minute" products you need to complete your Christmas crafting! Starting on 11/28/2022 use the code 5DAYS at checkout to get 15% off your entire purchase! Sale applies to "in-stock" items!
Halloween is such a fun time of the year.
I live in Indiana so the break from warm, sticky and humid days is
literally a breath of fresh air. The vibrant colors can cheer up anyone and today
I want my project to cheer you up.
As I've shared before, I give Gift Cards for most any occasion!
Local grands would rather get "what they want" and the younger ones live too far away.
But if I'm honest, I like to have some gift cards on hand for those spur of the moment gifts when you just want to thank someone or wish them a happy birthday.
Today I am featuring one of my all time favorite dies from MCT.
Gift cards are my go-to gift at Christmas Time, birthdays, graduation etc.
It seems like it's gotten harder and harder to buy for people, especially my grands!
Each Christmas I either give cash or gift cards so they can select their own gift.
Since I don't spend much time picking out a gift, I like to put the extra effort
into making the gift card holder. My Creative Time to the rescue!
Whew! What a great week!
I was fueled by coffee each day AND the inspiration from my Design Team Sisters!
Emma never lets us down! She knows that time is precious to all of us and when she designs products that cut down on time to create, it's a win win for us all!
Today we are sneaking her new Stitched Gift Card Holder Die
So many things in life are different one of those being
people are very hard to buy a gift for it seems! I'm so glad the Gift Card is a
popular choice and My Creative Time products make it easy to make your
gift card a personal gift. Today I'm highlighting Mermaid Kisses Stamp & Die Set and
Just one of the reasons I have loved using
MCT products, is that you can create something quickly
and it will look fantastic.
Today I made a gift card holder out of the cutest
coffee die yet! I love how quickly it came together and
how it looks like I spent hours creating it.

Welcome to another fun project featuring My Creative Time
Dies and stamps! Since my grandchildren are bigger
it seems that a gift card is the best way to go. I also like the
convenience of having some on hand to use when I want to send out
a thank you note or a cheerful hello!
I think as crafters we all have a
home base and mine is card making. This year being
stuck at home while we battle Covid, card making has kept me sane.
I do sell my cards, but this year I really began sending up to 10 cards
a week. I started with my church family as many are elderly
and I felt could use the pick me up of someone thinking about them
even though we couldn't see them. Then I branched out to my circle of friends.
I took the time to write something meaningful in the cards as I
wanted to give them hope. As a nurse, I knew the danger when the pandemic
first began. But as the shutdowns continued, I felt I had a calling to make
and send cards as much as I could. It was this year that I was
grateful that I had a good supply of stamps, ink, dies and paper to carry
on my mission. Oh and let's not forget Amazon deliveries!!!
I finished my handmade Christmas cards in March of 2020
so when it came time to send and address, I had plenty of time to actually
write notes in almost all of my cards. And not to brag, but I already
have my 2021 Christmas cards made and will enjoy writing in them
come this November.
When Emma asked me to Guest Design, I was thrilled
when she asked for a card. Cards don't have to be hard or
challenging. I know there are many intricate card designs out there
and they are beautiful, but that's not my style. I'm a simple country girl and
I like things that are easy. So here is my card that I created
for My Creative Time.
I created the front of my card using the
Gift Card Tag Dies. This is such a versatile set.
After gluing the pocket together, I actually trimmed
off the top so I could still stamp a sentiment at the top of my card.
I wanted the entire inside available for me to write
something instead of putting the gift card inside.
Think outside the box! You might think this tag set is just for
Christmas, but as you can see, it can be used year round!
Adding on the Peeking Bunny Die is the perfect
addition to make this look springy!
Well, that's it for me today! Thank you for stopping by my blog.
Make sure and head over to My Creative Time and check out
everything she has to offer!
Happy Crafting! Mimi
Hello! I'm Guest Designing today for
My Creative Time for her blog for her Birthday Palooza! It's always an exciting time to share
products with you that I use ALL THE TIME!
Emma's products make creating something special so easy.
I'm not sure about you, but it seems that I am
giving away more and more gift cards instead of a gift
that I've shopped for in the stores. Let's face it, with the Pandemic
no one was really out shopping, so gift cards were an awesome option.
That being said, two of my grandchildren are getting to the age
where they want to pick out their own gifts. Giving them a gift card makes it
easy, however sending a gift card to someone in the mail, doesn't have
to just be blah! Today I will be sending out a gift card all
wrapped up in cuteness using the Love Letter Die. The insert included with
this die is the perfect holder for your stamped sentiment and you can slide the
gift card behind. I used the Somebunny Special stamp set for my
Happy Birthday. Look how many
sentiments you get with this set!
How special does this look?
I used an older 6x6 paper pad from Anna Griffin - isn't it lovely?
So just because you are giving gift cards, no
need to get lazy!!! Ha ha! Make it special! Make it fun!
Happy Crafting - Mimi!
