So Far This Summer....

The two people in the picture below are big fans of summer! And below are a ton of pictures of what they have been up to...

Nikko and Logan doing what they do best...

Our little backyard garden...

While Mikey is mowing the lawn.....Nikko is on the attack!

Remember these???

We went down to P-Town with the Carrs for some J-Dawgs

This summer has been full of white-trash activities like shooting guns and fishing...

Zucchini from our garden (we wanted to see how big they would get)

In the first week of August we headed to Trinty with the Carrs for our annual family trip...

Nikko loved the 1700 mile round trip car ride...

We fished...

we hiked...

and we took in the beauty of Trinity County...

Nikko and Logan cuddled on our way back from California.

Back in SLC we have been hiking...

Twin Lakes

We have also been up the canyons cooking hotdogs and s'mores on the fire...

Not very detailed descriptions of what we have been up to but, we don't even know if people look at this blog.

Nikko . . .

We love Nikko!
Here are a bunch of pictures of what he does best!

He cocks his head when asked if he "likes puppies"

Ryan, Nikko's Uncle.
He lounges. . .
And follows us into the kitchen when we are cooking or doing dishes . . .
He gives us these eyes . . .

And these eyes . . .

Then watches some TV . . .

Followed by a nap or 10 . . .

And then he is rudely awaken by annoying parents with a camera . . .

Santa Barbara . . .

This past weekend we headed to Santa Barbara to spend time with Heather's family and have a small memorial for Grandma Wathey. It was a very fun weekend filled with Good Food, Good People, and Good Memories!
We had a stop in Oakland on our way to SB. We had a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge as we were about to land.

We helped Heather's Parents and Aunt move stuff out of Grandma Wathey's house. We even took a trip to the dump to get rid of some old furniture(Heather's Parents old couch and stereo cabinet).

We took flowers to Grandma Wathey's urn at the Santa Barbara Cemetery.

Then we headed to the Natural History Museum.

On Sunday we took a beautiful walk around Lake Los Carneros.

On Friday and Saturday there was some crazy rain storms. On Monday, Heather and I headed down to East Beach in Santa Barbara and found a few beached boats.
On Tuesday we found this gem in Las Vegas as we boarded a connecting flight.

Then we came home and picked up this B E A U TIFUL BOY!

Heahter sat next to this guy on our flight to California.
