so, here is the artist we discovered last week sunday in the LAM museum in lille: andré robillard.  if you google him you'll find many of the guns he made, but his drawings are just so so nice as well.

received the new record from devendra banhart. not only is the music very good (again!) the artwork is brilliant as well and makes me wonder who would buy this on itunes?? it even came with an autographed print!

sorry it was so quiet here.  spent the whole week in bed, fighting the flu. slowly recovering now...  will this winter ever end?

Who framed Who?

our dear friends Tine Colen and Sophie Anson made a beautiful exhibition together. taking pictures was a bit difficult in the strange light and without mieke.

all i have learned and forgotten again

yesterday we made a trip to lille to see the exhibition of jockum nordström.  it's definitly worth a visit if you're not too far away. many many works, and all brilliant! (in the summer the exhibition will travel to london as well!!) we were not allowed to make photos but luckily the catalogue includes all the works from the exhibition.

the museum also has a nice art brut collection, more about that very soon!

soon to visit again

with the camera.  visited this place yesterday to have a look and totally fell in love.  a bit like a castle, the style. and full of nice things and colors.  looking forward to go back and shoot the whole place!

a jungle

the house looks very much like a jungle these days.  taking care of the plants of a friend who has some renovations in her house. so it's full! but nice :)

2 pairs a day

some socks. very good to have these cold days. the ones on the 2nd photo i got from a friend. i think they are kid's sizes, but luckily i have small feet :)

here we go again

we have snow again :(
it seems like a never ending winter, and after the nice weather last week we were so ready for spring...

the last few days have been very much like spring. not always sunny, but around 15 degrees! nice to be outside without gloves and so. next week cold again though...
